Best western is famous for its old classical design. But this time it was a little bit dirty or there was no person in the room for a long time. However, they got a new massage service on the 3rd floor which was amazing!

Unfortunately, the takeaway breakfast I had requested a waiter - staff member for our early 6 a.m. departure was not prepared. I specifically asked for it the day before, clearly stating that I would be leaving at 6 a.m. To confirm, I even followed up with another staff member that same evening, who assured me the breakfast was already packed and would be ready for me upon departure. However, when we arrived at reception at 6 a.m., the front desk staff claimed the packed breakfasts were not ours and refused to provide them, saying we hadn’t informed them of our request. This clearly highlights a communication breakdown between the hotel staff and management.

Very centrally located hotel, within walking distance to most attractions. The staff were nice and welcoming. The hotel is well maintained, though some areas could use a bit of modernization. My only issue was that I couldn’t regulate the heat in the room, which made it a bit too warm. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay.

I got gastroenteritis because of eating at this hotel, which shows that the restaurant hygiene is very poor, and the rooms are very small and very shabby. Do not live here, the food hygiene and the shabby and dirty coffee machine will make you sick。

The reception staff are helpful. They help me a lot on calling taxi. They can communicate in English.

The hotel was situated near the city center and was quite affordable compared to other more expensive hotel chains (i.e. Ritz Carlton & Sheraton). The hotel facilities are clean and the services spoke good English and were helpful in our inquiries. Outside the hotel you can find many restaurants and cafes that are within walking distance. Best part of our stay was the breakfast buffet which offered an assortment of delicacies that varied each day in our stay--highly recommend staying here when in Astana as the value you get matches the price you pay!
