"Awfully dated bedrooms. Spider webs on the ceilings and bathrooms. Room service only every other day. Deserted Reception. Unfriendly Staff, specially at the reception. Lack of hot water in one of the mornings. Regular Breakfast. Regular restaurant where no bread is served, or even offered."

"Ibis Budget Hotel is a sure thing. I love IBIS hotels, and the Budget line holds its own. Of course, choosing the Budget line means you get a minimal but adequately equipped room; small, but clean and well-maintained. In this specific case, we even had a nice shower. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a relaxation area at the entrance (like all Ibis hotels). The train to Marienplatz is a 5-minute walk away. Really. Riem station is just a stone's throw away. The S2 train takes you to the city center, and from there you can go anywhere. The trip we just took was a family trip. And the hotel was a positive aspect. The only downside is the breakfast, which (given the distance from the city center) has to be eaten inside and isn't very varied. It's also expensive. Still, recommended."

"Apart from other things, my backpack and computer were stolen in the hotel lobby. I checked the surveillance camera and saw the thief. It was useless to call the police. It was very annoying. I will never come here again. The security is too bad."

"The facilities are well-equipped. It's quite charming that even the vintage 1987 elevator is still fully functional! The overall style of the property is very comfortable, and it boasts excellent views. It's definitely a great choice for a relaxing holiday."

"The hotel itself wasn't a big problem. While the breakfast was so-so, you can't expect too much at this price. However, Gina, the receptionist, was the worst receptionist I've ever encountered in all of Europe, bar none. I didn't see her in person, but there was a billing issue where I was suspected of being charged 625 euros twice. When I called, she insisted it was impossible for her to have made a mistake and that I must have ordered drinks at the bar… (625 euros a night? Is that even possible?) Secondly, her German was really bad. Even worse than her German was her attitude. I sent several emails about the billing issue and waited ten days, making numerous phone calls, all to no avail. Communication with her was constantly interrupted; she wouldn't understand me and would just give random replies. She just speaks German fast, but fast doesn't mean good! 😑 When I suggested she find someone with better German, she said she was the owner and responsible for everything…"

"This hotel has lost a lot. I stayed in Dec. 2023 and July 2024. They have 2 elevators. In Dec. 2023 one of these was out of service, in July 2024 the same elevator was still out of service after 7 months. The card for opening doors most of the time does not work, instead they give us the classic keys. At the reception in July 2024 there were 2 guys dressed in a white t-shirt and jeans, with a bad smell of sweat, the reception desk could be seen even if I was on the opposite side, it was dirty and messy. Really disappointing, years ago it was considered the best hotel in the area. The B&B and the other more recent hotel are better, they cost less."
