"The environment is good, the room is big enough, but because in the countryside, there are a lot of flies and bugs in the room. The shower handle in a bathroom is bad. The landlord cannot speak English. Although it is very enthusiastic, the whole process can rely on my half-hanging Portuguese and French to guess. Their own wine and olive oil are good. As a homestay around the Douro Valley, it basically meets my needs."

"This family house consists of 5 rooms, the hotel is warm and personalized, everything is very comfortable and very clean. The warm swimming pool offers a very pleasant relaxing moment. The breakfast room is very beautiful and all the products offered are of quality. You feel like guests or family members. We enjoyed the glass of Porto house offered at the time that was best for us. The location is also ideal to discover the beautiful valley of Douro. A Quinta has warmly recommended!"

"📍Location: Absolutely breathtaking! The guest house is perched high on a hill with a fantastic panoramic view of the Douro Valley vineyards. It’s a local winery where you can take romantic walks directly among the vines. Access is best by car (free parking is available). While there’s no on-site restaurant, several towns with dining options are just a 5-10 minute drive away. 🛋️ Rooms: We stayed in one of the two separate cabins, which feature full floor-to-ceiling glass walls. The view of the vineyard directly from the bed is unforgettable! Though the room felt slightly smaller than in the photos, it was modern and cozy. The main building has a beautiful, authentic lobby, a swimming pool, and they are currently adding a sauna and jacuzzi. 🍛 Food: The breakfast is a highlight! It’s much more than a standard continental breakfast: everything is fresh and local, including delicious oranges, olive oil, and honey produced right on the farm. They even timed the cooking to our arrival to ensure everything was fresh. For the evening, you can order snacks until 6:00 PM. We also highly recommend the wine tasting in the lobby: it’s €20-25 for 4-5 wines (we loved the red, white, and rosé), and you can add a generous cold cut platter for an additional €25. 🛌🏻 Service: The staff is incredibly flexible and kind. Sylvia, who handled our check-in and the tasting, was professional and informative. Even the lady preparing breakfast (who spoke only Portuguese) was remarkably sweet and attentive. We also received some home made complimentary Port wine! You can also buy their premium products to take home: wines are around €12, olive oil is €6, and their honey is similarly well-priced. Truly one of our best stays ever with fantastic value for money!"

"We booked our place via phone and the staff was very helpful giving us the best option for a family with baby. We had a big standard room (was basically a small whole house) with a garden view- charming and cozy. The price was very reasonable. Alex welcomed us and explained everything. We had an issue with the mattress and he found a resolution within 10 minutes - really fascinating service! The fruit gardens are open for the guests which is another big plus! We picked up from the first cherries. :) Our recommendation is towards the breakfast - could be great to have some vegetables and some variety in the different days. The mini croissants were marvellous though. Would be also great if there was a restaurant or a vending machine for essentials like water and packaged food for example. It is true the village is very close but sometimes you want to just rest and not go back in the car. However we would visit this place again. :) Thank you"
