"A small hotel with a narrow strip of beach. Locals flock to the area on weekends. The pool area is busy, making it noisy and bustling. The rooms smell of sewage. After the rain, the balcony was dirty. We asked to clean it, but they ignored us; we asked for a change of towels, but they forgot. Breakfast is a mini-buffet with a minimal selection. Neither the hotel nor its location left a positive impression."

The grounds themselves are well-maintained and attractively designed, making you feel right at home, especially since the hotel doesn't have too many rooms. However, what truly made our stay special was the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff. Whether at reception, in the restaurant, housekeeping, or organizing and accompanying excursions – we always felt incredibly well cared for. The warmth and helpfulness of the entire team are truly outstanding. A special thank you to May, Rodge, and Ryan, as well as everyone else who made our holiday unforgettable. ♡ We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return!"

"This place is amazing. The resort is right on the beach. you can enjoy paddle, snorkeling and also crazy diving !! All the team is so helpful and chill, you will feel at home !! The bar and the restaurant are really good and by night, you have the family dinner with everyone. I really recommend this resort if you want to chill and enjoy the ocean ! "

"Room is spacious and clean. Smells really nice. Big clean pool, comfy sunbeds, beach towels. Breakfast is OK, looks the same in all phillipine hotels. Parking slot. 3 mins to the beach - small one, there are a lot of boats, some ****, but possible to swim. 5 mins to poop caves( nice to swim inside) , 20 mins walking to central beach. Only one thing made upset - animals at the hotel. Dogs and especially cats look so bad, you can see all bones under the skin. Never have seen animals in such bad conditions around any hotel. Now I am at Moalboal, around me 3 cats are playing, sleeping around - so relaxing."

"We stayed a few nights in the most basic cabin. It was a true wilderness survival experience. The cabins are located far from the road, practically in the jungle. The cabins are made of bamboo, and you get everything that comes with that. There's a pleasant common area. There's free water. The hostess and two dogs were lovely. Probably the worst thing here is the endless mice running through the walls and across the ceiling. This might shock some, so it's best to bring good earplugs."

"My stay at J&R was wonderful. J&R is a small family run resort. The facility is very clean, and the staff was very attentive to my needs. The town of Anda is only a few minutes away. The resort is just far enough from town to feel remote and relaxing, but the town is only a short tricycle ride away. I was happy with the tours I purchased from them. In particular I enjoyed snorkeling off of the trident boat they use for snorkeling tours. The restaurant is very good, and they have a large menu to pick from. Anda is a very relaxing place to visit. This small town has a very laid-back friendly vibe and is a great way experience the Philippines. I spent many hours walking the beach, every morning I saw something new and amazing. I have travel plans for Feb. 2025 and visiting J&R Resort and Anda is on my list! I will return!"
