Alpine Inn Near Convention Center and the Park

My family and I stayed here for one week for our Disneyland vacation. I’ve stayed at the Candy Cane Inn, Howard Johnson and the Fairfield Inn and this place is probably the worst place I’ve stayed at. There are three things to think about before you stay here. #1 comfort, the walls and ceilings are so THIN you can literally hear the people next door and above you. You can hear the footsteps and the shower/toilet flush. It’s so uncomfortable and annoying. If you’re a light sleeper STAY AWAY! The mattresses are old and make a cracking noise when you move around on them. After a long day at Disneyland most people want to relax and unwind, this place isn’t for you. #2 old motel. This place is old and dated. The furniture and amenities don’t match the modern amenities in other places. No smart TV, only ONE WASHER AND ONE DRYER to use for the entire motel and there’s a weird pungent/old smell in the rooms. Also the towels are paper thin. #3 is parking. Even though it’s free parking, the parking spots are very tight. If you have a big truck or van you’ll probably have problems trying to park it. The walk to Disneyland is 15 minutes and seems very long after a long day at Disneyland. It’s so hard on your feet. Overall this is the first and last time I’m staying here.

Nice place. Clean room, nice beds, no carpet, simple room. No extras really, just a nice place to sleep. Older motel, but kept up well. Best was it was a reasonable walk to Disney. Reasonably quiet for a motel.

We picked this motel as it is only a 10 minute walk to Disneyland. We hired a car and this is one of the only places that still offer free parking. Rooms were very clean, and well maintained. Had a small laundry room, which is very useful, free tea and coffee every morning. Highly recommended

We spent two nights at the Alpine Inn for our Disneyland trip, a 10-15 minute walk from the main gate. The location is convenient, and parking is free—though it may not extend to the day you check out. In our case, we were given a coupon for $12.50 parking at the Anaheim Garden Walk structure, which is still much cheaper than Disneyland parking. The motel charges a $15 "resort" fee, though calling it a resort is a stretch. There is a small pool, but otherwise, it’s a standard motel with a charming Alpine chalet façade, complete with a Matterhorn Bobsleds poster in the lobby. Our double queen room had a recently renovated feel, was on the small side, and included a single nightstand between the beds, a TV mounted on the opposite wall, and a fridge and microwave in the open closet area. There weren't many outlets, but they wisely added an alarm clock with outlets and USB ports built in. The bathroom sink was separate from the shower and toilet, with wall-mounted hand soap and lotion by the sink, and conditioning shampoo and body wash in the shower. The beds were very comfortable—we slept great after long days walking Disneyland. However, the ceilings are thin, and we could hear every step from the room above us, as well as their plumbing. Expect to wake up when they do. There’s coffee in the lobby but no breakfast. Fortunately, a Denny’s and two IHOPs are close by. The best part of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff. While it’s not a luxury stay, the Alpine Inn is a solid choice for Disneyland visitors looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly option close to the park.
