"This hotel is beautifully decorated and located right by Amber Fort. From the rooftop, you see mosques, temples and the fort. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. The rooms are small, but very clean. The wallpaper and other decor is stunning. I highly recommend the Suraya Haveli for an intimate experience while in Jaipur. I would hesitate if you are on the heavier side as the hallways are narrow, but the average person will have no problem. The price sets it apart because it is so reasonable, but know you will have a clean room, with hot water, comfortable bedding and genuinely kind staff."

"The hotel staff is really nice and accomodating. We were able to do an early check-in and when there was no hot water they moved us to a better room. If you like to get away from the hustle and bustle from the city, this area is perfect. The amber fort is only 10 minutes walking away. Very friendly people when you walk in the streets. If you want to be close by the centre, I wouldn't recommend as a tuk tuk is around 200 inr to get there."

Location was a tad out of Jaipur ..hence no noise and bustle of city life..Ambience was surreal..surrounded by Greenery a Swimming Pool and Simba the Elderly Greyhound to boot. Rooms are large and comfortable..food was special...the Service very good and certainly very good value for money..it was an 80th birthday celebration in a Home away from Home..rather Boisterous on our part... yet Special..Owner and Son equally enjoying the Occasion. Thank you Ransher"
