"Family-run single-family house, because there is no obvious sign or house, it is easy to accidentally walk over. The door is a lush small yard. It is recommended to send an email to the landlord to confirm the checkin time before going. The room is full of antique furniture available, the bathroom has heating, the tiger window has a great view The landlord is a very cute grandmother and her son's family. Breakfast will also ask the guests in advance the day before. The most important thing is that there is 🐱! There is 🐱! Super petite kitten If you have to pick something wrong, the landlord’s English is not very fluent. Communication needs to be slower, but there is no problem with the meaning of dredging."

"Every traveler finds or not ...what he comes to search ... I wish you could find what you were expecting. It wasn't our case.A good location and a website let the best predefine. Our order, reception, care needs we have been used to find for 20 years traveling in guest rooms were not satisfied. The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable. Amboise is a very nice small town."

"Wonderful hotel/B&B. We were warmly welcomed into Madame’s home, which is beautifully decorated. Fantastic room and huge bathroom. The double bed was enormous and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was fresh croissant, pain au chocolat and bread plus delicious extras. Great location for exploring Amboise on foot. Highly recommend"

"We had a wonderful time in this very friendly place. Tony and his team are fantastic! Attentive and helpful with advice for our visits... We enjoyed full board for the Christmas holidays with very good food. Thank you also for the wonderful New Year's Eve celebration. The apartment was very clean and the bedding comfortable. We're leaving tomorrow but will definitely return to this establishment if we come back to finish our visits to castles or other sites. Thank you. Anne Laure and Davy C."

"Good hotel, very pretty and good atmosphere. Needs rejuvenation as a bit tired. Staff were helpful. Great breakfast. Would expect to have a gym here and a better lobby. If you are looking for a good 4 star hotel in this area and want the quiet and the view of a nice garden this is a good choice."

"A wonderful stay with very friendly hosts Aude & Rob who go out of their way to make you feel at home. If you like getting to know people and the feel of being amongst friends when travelling, this is the place for you. The B&B is thoughtfully and tastefully decorated, we enjoyed exploring the surrounding grounds. We stayed in the suite which was extremely spacious and comfortable. Given a welcome bottle of bubbly on arrival. There is no air con but even in a heat wave this was not a problem, the room was a good temperature and a fan was supplied. The bed was very comfortable. Fabulous high pressure shower. Continental breakfast was lovely - particularly with flavourful homemade jams. The only downside is the location of the property if you have not rented a car. We certainly got our step count in walking to and from the town but that may not be for everyone! Some fantastic chateaus to explore nearby which are easily reached by foot. The public bus stop is nearby and the bus is very cheap but it sometimes turns up, sometimes does not in our experience. Taxi/ubers are in short supply in the area. Unless you love walking, a car is a must to stay here. Regardless, one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in and we will certainly return in the future."
