"The service staff, especially in the restaurant, were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. A bit more cleanliness in the room would be desirable. The room booking via Trip.com was confusing regarding the actual room type, and we had to pay a hefty upgrade (100€/day) to get a similar one! The hotel was somewhat accommodating with the add-on of the AI-Premium package."

"We came here for the first time and couldn’t get over how peaceful this place is we’re so used to busy resorts that we didn’t think this sort of place existed it took a couple of days to get used to but it was perfect! We arrived just after midday and knew we wouldn’t be able to check in til 4pm like most places but I went to to the desk at 1:30pm and was told our room was ready which was amazing as we were tired and wanted to get changed and relax. The rooms are massive with a fully functioning kitchen and even a dishwasher and espresso machine and a bottle of water in the room, the beds were huge and quite comfy with the added luxury of a quilt rather than just sheets which was a really nice touch especially when you fall asleep with the aircon blasting 🫣 the balcony was also really big with sliding doors going full length of the room the bathroom had a jacuzzi bath which was nice although a bit noisy I only used it once for this reason but again another nice touch, the staff are all really lovely and take time to chat to you when bringing food and drink, breakfast was a choice of hot breakfast or continental with a good choice of cereals, breads, meat, cheese, fruit, pastries etc the fresh orange was lovely not watery juice like a lot of places we’ve been to, the bar snack menu has a good variety and everything is served like your eating at a fine restaurant the club sandwich is amazing the grounds are beautifully kept and very pleasing on the eye. There was never an issue with sun beds in fact a couple of times we were the only ones around the pool in a morning if you want a relaxing peaceful break away from it all then this is the place the only down side is the bar shuts really early so if you enjoy a night cap you won’t be having it at the hotel but it wouldn’t put me off staying again it’s in a great location about a 15 min walk from the shops and restaurants and a little supermarket 5 minutes down the road. just the quiet is sheer heaven I don’t think I’ll ever get over that 😂 thank you pelican Alvor for a great stay."

"One of the best things about this hotel was that guests didn’t reserve sunbeds with towels, so there were always plenty available throughout the day. The hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere, is spotlessly clean, and is in an excellent location. I would definitely recommend it. Having stayed at other Vibe hotels, I was a little disappointed with the sunbeds here as they weren’t very comfortable. At another Vibe hotel we visited, the cushions were much thicker and more luxurious. I also feel it’s important to mention that while the rooms have a lovely large bath, the shower is positioned over it. This could make it quite difficult for elderly guests, as there are no grab rails and the bath can be slippery when getting out. My only other suggestions for improvement would be to keep the food hotter rather than just lukewarm, and to check and refill the food stations more regularly before items run out. On our first morning there was no yoghurt available, and although there was a section for fried eggs, there never seemed to be any when we went down for breakfast. And I didn’t get the idea of putting food on top of books! The hotel is in a fantastic area with plenty of lovely walks nearby, most of them fairly flat. However, the walk into town, although only around 20 minutes, does include some fairly steep sections in places."
