"No matter how nice the rooms are, it doesn't give the employees the right to invade guests privacy. I talked to the front desk on my day of checkout, and was able to do a late checkout by thirty minutes, since I was waiting on laundry to dry. Apparently their bruiser that they send to kick people out of their rooms (Devin) didn't get the memo, bangs on my door and after three knocks just opens my door and barges in, while I'm getting dressed. I was in shock, and explained that I had already told the front desk I was checking out late, and I was still within the timeframe. He mumbled and left, but I felt so violated after this incident."

"El Verde is a nice, quaint hotel. It has a lot of really pretty decorations which really lets the charm shine through. Much better than staying in a generic hotel. The room was filled with amenities including robes, slippers, and delicious piñon coffee. The courtyard was a highlight as well with good views of the landscape and a nice place to sit and visit with family and friends. They also have fire pits which seemed like they would be nice on a cold day. Above all the staff were outstanding. Helpful, caring, and very accommodating they helped with all requests while lodging. A lovely stay with extraordinary staff make El Verde a great choice."
