"BED BUGS!!! We had a long day of car travel and the next day we had to go to Dover, all we wanted was to sleep and finding this was a disappointment. I went to claim and ask for a refund but it was 00:00am and the receptionist told me that he had to go the next day at 7am to talk to his boss. I was with my little daughter I couldn't go anywhere else and his solution was to give me another room where I found another insect, I was until 3am checking the room that there was no more bed bugs. The next day I talked to another person at reception and according to her I was going to talk to her boss and talk about a refund and I've been waiting since August 31. I DON'T RECOMMEND IT. All this happened in room 105. BE CAREFUL."

"The second time we are in this hotel. Loved it the first time and still love it now. Location wise is perfect for ys because we plan only to visit the nearby places like Geneve, Nyon etc. We dont use it but just in case people want to go to geneva without driving, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. This time we have an apartment so its even more spacious for the 2 of us. The AC is very cold eventhough it’s a little loud. The receptionist, Hikmat, is frriendly and helpful and gave us access to underground parking for free. Thank you. Hope to stay here again."

"We were so pleased to have discovered this well-managed hotel - which offers really comfortable accommodation, at great-value prices. For a three-night stay in the Lyon area it provided us with the ideal base - convenient for the city, and with some other great destinations to explore, including the mediaeval city of Perouges. We really appreciated the hotel facilities (including a relaxing pool area), the excellent breakfast, and the hospitality of the hotel owner. We made good use of restaurants which are within a short walk of the hotel, including 'Per Lei' - an excellent pizzeria. 'Le Petit Casset' was such a good choice - and we have really happy memories of our stay - thank you Patrick!"

"I was generously upgraded to a junior suite with a relaxing outdoor space overlooking the village's church. The room was perfectly clean, with top-notch bedding and shower, as well as superior soundproofing, allowing for a most restful night. The dinner at their fine-ding "L'Intimiste" was a memorable experience with their Lobster Menu - service was impeccable and cooking was masterful, demonstrating the Chef's remarkable technique. This is a genuine Auberge, with updated traditions and proper (and unfortunately rarer) hospitality thanks to the passion and professionalism of the owning couple. Kudos to the whole Team and their work."

"Lovely boutique hotel with very nice ambiance. There’s a garden for having an apéro and or breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and very well appointed. The owners are absolutely lovely and very welcoming. We stayed 2 nights and visited the medieval town and surrounding lakes. Very relaxing."

"We reserved La Villa du Lac because of the SPA and nice restaurant on the pictures at "stay for long". In reality it was a horrible ghost hotel - the SPA was closed with NO water, the restaurant was also closed like the main hotel see foto's. Stay for long diden't want to pay any of the approximately 200 Euro per day back or talk about any compensation :-( The promised WIFI diden't work, so we got a big bill for mobile data when we got home. Stay Away from La Villa du Lac and Don't use "Stay for long" for booking !!"

"Very beautiful grounds and room. Felt a bit anonymous as nobody around, we did check-in and check out ourselves with code. Breakfast was poor for a place like this. They leave yogurt juice and jam in the fridge and leave a basket outside your room door in the morning with about 6 slices of bread! Wouldn’t go back."
