"It's a great place to stay. We had a unanimous positive review after our stay. Four women and one man booked three rooms, one with a view of the sea and two facing the street. The entire place was occupied by five of us. The beds were clean and neatly made. The Italian host was very kind and waited early to meet us. He explained all the necessary precautions. "Pros Beautiful location right by a stunning sandy beach . Staff extremely helpful. Local town of Sciacca really lovely and restaurants were very good ( euros 40 per round trip by taxi in evening ) Beach bar ( not part of hotel ) saved the holiday Clean hotel - got a great nights sleep on a comfortable bed Cons Extremely basic hotel . Not in a faded charm way. It was more like a “ facility “ . Miles and miles of bare corridors with weird open blank spaces . Bathroom very clean but beyond dated . People are complaining about the sulphur smell - you can smell it but it’s not a problem . Buffet was very basic - edible but depressing ( we ate in it day one but ate out for the final 3 evenings ) No bottled water available ( we were thirsty at night . Just some tiny paper cups you could at a machine at the bar ) Charging 5 euros to rent an ancient beach towel was beyond hilarious However - my advice would be . Forget this being labelled as “all inclusive “. Go to breakfast - grab a coffee , cup of water , a pastry and a piece of fruit . Go to the clean sandy beach with the clearest water , try out the free SUP and kayaking , have lunch at the lovely beach bar then a cab to town in the evening . Use it as a base with a nice location for a few days My friend and I had just the best time ( despite the hotel !! ) . Much laughter , great weather !! My"

"This is a very quiet and unique hotel. All 25 rooms have private swimming pools. The warm and thoughtful service plus the unique natural scenery of Sicily are worth staying for a few days. The restaurant charges a lot but the atmosphere is great! If I go to Sicily, I will stay there for a few more days!"

"The hotel owner and staff were very welcoming when we eventually got there. Bit of a trek into a tiny village at the top of a mountain. Nice cold beer after throwing case in room, after a sticky afternoon in the Valley. Food excellent: Carbonara seasoned just right, starter as well exceptional. Breakfast set us up for the day, checkin/checkout seem less. Recommend for all the above and a beautiful vista."

What touched me most about this hotel is that I heard that we are far from China and the staff are very warm to receive us. Wherever we go today, we may be treated differently because we are Chinese. In the years, this sincere and equal respect made me feel very warm"

"Our stay at Borgo Giallonardo was one of the highlights of our 18-day trip to Sicily. The service was outstanding and the food was exceptional, we ate there 3 out of the 4 nights. The design of the property is exquisite, combining traditional accents with a fresh modern twist. Our suite was comfortable, spacious, quiet and well appointed, by far the nicest accommodations we had during our time in Sicily. The location is an oasis of olive trees and grape vines, all which are highlighted at the restaurant. We used it as our base to explore the area, and felt compelled to take some time to enjoy the resort-like feel and beautiful view of the hills and the mediterranean. IMO, it deserves more than 3 stars. We would go back in a heart beat!"

"An oasis in an otherwise average Village mosse. Is on the SR 115 which seems to be the road that takes you everywhere in Southern Sicilly. The location is great for the Valley of the Temples and a visit to old Agrigento. The room was excellent and it was nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were comfy. Other than a bit of a drain smell in the bathroom on arrival which went away after we’d used it and a noisy fridge that kept disturbed our sleep a bit the place was excellent. We had a small balcony outside to sit and relax in the evening. Owner ran us through the access instructions on arrival and was available should you need advice or help. Breakfasts were available but we did not take up the option. Happy to recommend a stay to anyone"
