Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi Reviews

We enjoyed our stay at the Rixos although it's not as good as the property on Saadiyat Island. The buffet selection was not as comprehensive as other Rixos properties and Turquoise was closed for renovation. So they did the buffet in a smaller restaurant. Much less choice. Breakfast was average and food overall was just ok. I missed the curry selection they put on at Saadiyat. And no sujuk. We were not made aware of restaurant closures when we booked or that the 2 a la carte restaurants would be payable. This was disappointing and worth bearing in mind when booking all inclusive. This did result in a difficult encounter at one of the restaurants because the information we'd been given had included this restaurant in our all inclusive package, when we got there we were told no. Not good. We had a couple of other minor issues, no hot water on final day and a broken room curtain. The sauna also had a broken timer so you weren't sure how long you'd been in. Service was generally good but I don't think as attentive as other Rixos we've been to.

Very good, clean, and service was goods. Drinks are on the pricey side compared to other resorts.

Whilst the premises are nice the customer service lacks that personal touch and felt more like a cheap resort (despite the high price) where no one cares. Staff are clueless when asked a question and apart from breakfast staff no one seemed interested. This lack of customer service made me think this place don't care about customers and this I do not recommend. Please train staff to attend to customers as it didn't feel like a 5 star service. Room was ok, comfortable beds. Beach was nice and food average. The restaurants were really bad on customer service, they told Me to go back later as I was one person as they didn't have space for me, very rude and disrespectful, so I ended up dining outside the hotel at better locations with better customer service. Location was good but If you look for a classy, comfortable, peaceful and excellent service type of stay this is not it. It was noisy , expensive, lack of customer service and extremely busy with families and loads of kids. . Not what I hoped for, very disappointed.

Simply the best hotel

It’s a nice family place clean and well maintained. Rooms were nice location was good . We did not try beach . Swimming pools good . Breakfast was also variety of food .

It's all good. However, the mattress in the room is very uncomfortable. Uncomfortable to sleep. Most likely, we won't choose for a holiday by the sea anymore. It's impossible to get enough sleep.

For almost an hour no one is answering the phone call, valet service really bad and no one was welling to support us while checking in.

The hotel offers excellent facilities and a great location; however, the service and reception staff are uncooperative and frequently create issues for guests, disrupting the enjoyment of an otherwise pleasant stay.

We booked 2 single bed 2nights !they can’t provide when we check in, and they tried to provided extra bed to us , it is helpful, second night we move other room , but the view and room is terrible!

Relaxing every thing was great just it will be better put full box of tissue in the room I used few tissue only .

Amazing hotel , great location , breakfast was good too … this hotel is especially good with kids .. it’s one of the best hotel i stayed with kids .. great view too
