This hotel has a great reef but is seen better days. It needs to get revamped. It has one of the best reefs in the Maldives so you have to cope with all the faults of the hotel. I booked the all-inclusive for $137 a night plus 26% tax and service charge. Don't come in May All you get is rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain rain. The food was okay. They put me on the second floor and I had an ocean view. Good thing about this hotel is that they have a washing package. If you stay less than four nights I think it's $22 and they'll wash everything that you own. If you stay four to seven days I believe I spent $32 for their laundry package which is unlimited laundry. Their drinks are okay nothing named brand. If you're on the all-inclusive and you want carlsberg then they have to put it in your room because they just serve beer on tap that's lion. I would stay there again because of the reef but the hotel is absolutely nothing special.

The FB package is very valuable . breakfast , lunch , dinner are great . The food is cover for all country people . Drink is not included but not pricey . The island is really big , you can get the buggy to get around , the staff are really helpful . The Thundi Water Villa With Pool room is right next to the sandbank , the best location to see the sunset or sunrise .
Ranthari Hotel and Spa, Ukulhas Maldives

Although this hotel was very clean and presentationally pleasant to look at there appears to be a a lot of wear and tear. I was disappointed to find that the spa is closed and that there is no longer a bar on the roof top. The swimming pool is lovely especially in the afternoons but surrounded by laundry! It was not worth having a partial sea view room because there is a lot of building work on either side of the hotel and on one side they work from 7 am until 7 pm with one night working until 10pm and it’s just not a view you want to see. In comparison to other hotels and restaurants the costs are higher for no better service. Breakfast hot food options were always cold, although the evening meal was good, drinks are expensive compared to other restaurants, sometimes twice the price! The staff were efficient but did not want to chat much or ask about our day or make recommendations. They seemed fixated on making the place look nice rather than offering / creating a friendly atmosphere. The excursions offered were expensive compared to the rest of the island with no added benefit. It’s worth shopping around if you are happy to meet the hotels ‘disclaimer’ which we did, knowing other operators work to the same standards. Our room was always cleaned well, smelt beautiful and had clean towels every day which was pleasant. Well done cleaners. I have stayed in many hotels over my time from 2-5 star and felt underwhelmed.

Rasdhoo Stay

Stayed two weeks at this hotel. My room 204 was on a corner so no neighbors on two sides and a nice window that let the afternoon sun in. A\C works well and is quiet. Bed is confortable ans the bathroom is rather modern with a shower that have a good pressure. Water is proposed on two glass bottles that you filled as much as you want near the front desk. No plastic, no trash! Bikini beach is a two minutes walk and hotel gives towel to enjoy it. The cheapest restaurant on the atoll is at three steps of the accommodation. There is a billard table that you can enjoy freely. The place is very quiet. The only noise that you hear comes from the gigantic generator that gives power to Rasdhoo. Sound of the engine is regular so you get use to it. It's not like noise that produce traffic. By the way, most of vehicles on the atoll are electric and there is no dog so no barking as well!

We spent 5 nights in Ras Village and enjoyed peaceful stay. Our room was spacious with new AC and nice breakfast. The hotel host Mujah is very helpful , offered a lot of activities for us. 2 mins from bikini paradise beach. Snorkeling kits for free. Decent place , for a wonderful week stay. Mike

I traveled to several islands in the Maldives, and among all the places I stayed, this hotel truly stood out. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and always made us feel at home. The service here is unmatched. Every request was handled quickly and with a smile, and it’s clear that the team takes great pride in making guests happy. Whether it was arranging activities or simply ensuring our room was comfortable, everything was done with such care and professionalism. And the food—wow! Every meal was delicious, with a perfect blend of local Maldivian flavors and international options. We especially loved how fresh everything tasted, and it was clear that a lot of effort goes into preparing each dish. This hotel gave us the best service out of all the places we stayed in the Maldives, and it made our trip truly memorable. If you’re looking for friendly staff, excellent service, and amazing food, I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We’ll definitely return on our next visit to the Maldives!
Club Gabbiano

We are just back from a fantastic week in Rasdhoo where we lodged at Club Gabbiano. I really wish I could give a higher mark to this hotel because in the end we had such a good time, but there are some things that I really have to mention for the other fellow travellers. HIGHS The location is the best on the island, hands down: right on the beach. The two best rooms (601 and 701) as well as the restaurant/breakfast room on the terrace have amazing views of the bikini beach. Our room was very big with a lovely balcony with bean bags to lounge on, we used it every day, it was really worth the little extra price! Iti is very basic, way more basic than it looked in the pictures but I have no complaints at all (you also get a water boiler, plenty of instant coffee and a fridge and filtered water every day). Airco is temperamental but it worked fine for us. The beds are super comfortable, lovely soft sheets and nice pillows so sleep quality was amazing. They give you plenty of shower and beach towels, all you have to do is ask (mindful of the environment of course, but they will not skimp on giving you fresh ones at all!). The staff of the hotel was super attentive. I didn't catch any names but: The person who manages the whataspp chat: whatever we asked to organize or clarify he was always promptly answering, always kind with a solution even when we kept changing our mind, really really great service (if you need anything also for the booking or the speedboat, don't email just whatsapp!). I had no idea if WE actually met this guy at the hotel (we jokingly called him ”the chatbot” :-)) but HE was great. Also the other guys at the hotel (sorry I didn't catch any names) the one organising the excursiones (which we called ”the artist” because he painted all the colorful drawings around the hotel and beach restaurant and was playing the guitar in the lobby) and the guy minding the reception (called ”the guy with the ponytail”) were super kind and amazing to deal with. Thanks guys, you really bumped the rating up! LOWS The hotel simply does not look like the pictures: apparently the structure was built in 2019 and considering that it should have been empty for quite a long time during the pandemic, it looks like it has been hit by a hurricane. The place is really not well maintained. It looked shabby and ran down. The reception was messy and unkempt, the common areas barely kept together. Building on a tiny island is not easy (and we have been to other local islands as well so we have comparisons) but this hotel has either been built in a rush or not mended at all. It is ok for a little hotel in a local island to look simple but this was beyond it: it was not cared for. The open bathrooms are a disaster: they do not look exotic just shabby. The idea was good but the execution is not ok. Our shower didn't drain properly so the entire bathroom floor was constantly soggy and swampy. When the shower got properly clogged they came promptly to drain i
