affordable price including breakfast if you are travelling with big families (＞6 adults). the staffs did their best to accommodate with our request (buggy service, extra bed/pillow/blanket, breakfast options not bad). not much of expectation considering the price

Overall okay . Just a bit old compared to the in the photo. Location : okay. Have quite a few restaurants around . Cleanliness: Acceptable. But still have to do some cleaning at every corner, seems like some ancient dust. Bed : Comfortable Bathroom: got a bathtub. Upgrading working is on going I guess. Will collect deposit of Rm100.00

The hotel location is very convenient, with easy access to nearby shop, which made my trip even smoother .The room was clean & comfortable. Picture view from rooftop poolside🥰

Resort World may be old but it offers scenic water front that most hotels can't offer. Though there is no sandy beach for strolling or swimming, it offers a very nice water front facing infinity pool that gives you a great swimming experience. Loved the reclining beach chairs in the infinity pool! Those sea facing rooms get to open their balcony doors or sit by the balcony to enjoy the strong sea breeze! There's fish feeding every evening which is a highlight of my stay. The fishes seem to know their dinner time! There's another swimming pool for kids and adults which offers warm water if the weather is sunny....love it like soaking in a warm tub. The reception service was really excellent! Was attended by Miss Ting who personally went to great lengths to ensure my room requirements are met as we have senior citizens with us. The breakfast spread was yummylicious! Unfortunately a few of my guests had diarrhoea after the final day breakfast...still clueless to the cause. This resort also has a Northern Indian cuisine restaurant, a bar, game room that offers darts, snooker, ping pong, and foosball/table football, small playground slides for children, bicycles for rent (RM10 per hour),various boat tour packages and it is the place where cruise ships dock for passengers to do land tours. We managed to see one on our last morning, there! Oh, we also get to watch the tour boats depart and return as the hotel is facing the jetty hub that runs this activity. Collectively, we all agree we will come back to this hotel in the future even if there are other new or beach front hotels there. The room price is reasonable especially if one book early, online. Highly recommended resort if you prefer a quiet, peaceful yet pleasant stay. It's very near (a few kilometres away) to Tengah Beach and the loud, noisy, crowded, happening Cenang Beach. Rent a car so that you can move around easily especially if the group is big or has young children or senior citizens. Very happy with our stay there. Highly recommend! Nevermind the old facade, the environment and experience beats it all!

Nice hotel with real potential, but it feels neglected and needs maintenance. The rooftop pool is pleasant with great views, though the big umbrella is very rusted and it closes at 7 pm, a bit too early. The room was excellent: large, spacious and really beautiful. Breakfast is a highlight, very good selection and the pancakes were outstanding. Staff is hit or miss: some are friendly and helpful, others seem bored and uninterested. The rooftop restaurant idea is nice, but service was poor. We waited a full hour for dinner while later arrivals got served first, very frustrating. Overall: good bones, great room and breakfast, but inconsistent service and visible wear and tear hold it back. Could be excellent with some care.

1. The room size and facilities were standard, as expected for the price. 2. The restaurant is on the fifth-floor terrace, directly facing the sea. Breakfast was more substantial than at other hotels of a similar caliber. Lunch and dinner were good, service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable, offering better value than restaurants on the street. We ended up eating several meals upstairs. 3. In comparison, the Cenang Beach Plaza Hotel next door, which had similar conditions, was 50% more expensive – not a good deal at all.

Bayview is the excellent hotel in the heart of Kuah town. It’s obviously quite old but very-well kept and well-equipped. I haven’t had any disappointments during our 5 nights stay. We had a family suite. It’s well-furnished, so spacious and light! There’s a great view on the Maha tower and the sea! We didn’t have any meals in the hotel, so can’t say anything about the food and the restaurant. There’s proper cleaning every day. The staff is so helpful and friendly. So, the stay was great!

Absolutely loved our stay at The Bayou Hotel and Langkawi island. Less than 20mins transfer from the airport, 5 mins walk to the beach and a clean pool are amongst some of the great amenities. It’s a small/medium sized hotel with a personalized service. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere and ambience are very nice. Breakfast was good and the seating was open air with plenty of room for all guests. Rooms were clean and good sized. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean, comfortable and personalized stay in Langkawi.

The hygiene was okay. However, the soundproofing in the room was terrible; I could hear conversations from the next room. The safe was also quite old, with some keys not working. What I liked most were the bathrobes – clean and comfortable. What I disliked was being woken up by the cleaner knocking on my door at 8 AM. Seriously, who cleans rooms that early? There was also a gap under the room door, which felt very unsafe and made me think the door could easily be pried open! I hope they can make some improvements.

This is a 3-star hotel. The cleanliness could be improved, and the facilities are a bit dated. The breakfast spread was quite good. There's an indoor pool, though it's not very big. The location is excellent, right by the sea with a pretty clean beach.
