Such a great stay! The hotel have a smart home assistant that made everything so convenient! The bed is the BIG PLUS! It was huge and super comfortable making it hard to leave! The best part? They offer free airport transfer which was huge time and cost savers for us! The staff is also very friendly! Highly recommended this place in all aspects especially if you reach airport late night or need to leave early!

It was a pleasant surprise to stumbled across this gem. The hotel was just situated inside the Li Jiang ancient town which makes it very convenient to travel and walk around the town even in the wee hours without the need to worry about taking didi! The hotel staff has contacted us 4 days before to ensure our smooth arrival. The staff was very sweet, friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs before, during and even after our stay. She even assisted to recommend us some tours around Li Jiang and also when we were planning to travel up to Shangrila. The tours she recommended and assisted to book were all great! This has helped us tremendously to save our time research and plan on our own ☺️. The room we booked is with private balcony, it has fantastic view and the room were clean and comfortable to stay. Will definitely come back here next time and recommend to my friends and family of this place to stay if they ever plan to come to Li Jiang!

Loved the hotel. The rooms were clean, housekeeping cleaned daily and was the best cleaning out of all the hotels we stayed during our trip (we stayed in 6 different hotels). Price also very cheap. Would highly recommend.

The hotel lobby was pleasant, with a reading corner. We were given a free room upgrade; the room was clean, spacious and had a huge firm bed (good back support). There is even a tea brewing set in-room. Our main gripe was this building seems to be shared with other hotels/offices so the lifts were a little run down and took a long time to arrive at our floor (we stayed at level 25). Overall, this place is quite value-for-money, comfortable, and had ample space in room to open 3-4 big luggages. However, if you’re rushing to catch a didi etc, do allocate a few more minutes for the lift to arrive at your floor.

I absolutely loved the hotel! It's incredibly beautiful and commuting was a breeze. We booked a day trip tour with a local agent, and it was so convenient for them to pick us up. Plus, booking a didi was easy since the hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the North Gate. Since we stayed for three days, they kindly offered pick-up or drop-off services. The staff were fantastic, so welcoming and attentive. They regularly checked in via wechat to make sure I was okay or if I needed anything. I really appreciated their excellent service! The only minor flaw was the toilet. I had hoped for a fully enclosed door. However, everything else was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel to others! I don’t have many photos because I was busy taking videos, but trust me, the hotel is stunning, and the garden is absolutely breathtaking. Lastly, thank you for the warm hospitality. I felt so welcomed, and if I visit again, I will definitely choose this hotel every time!

Room was spacious and comfortable. Have heater so you wouldn’t feel cold. Location was superb, besides shuncheng mall and very accessible. Shuncheng mosque and Nanping pedestrian street was just right behing the hotel. There are lots of halal stores like restaurants, street foods, groceries and bakeries. We had a really great time here. For Malaysians, I highly recommended to stay at this hotel!! Very near to halal restaurant. Most importantly, the owner very very very helpful in order suggesting the place to go. She even contact the place I want to go even though on trip.com/website mentioned that day closed. Luckily, the owner directly call the place and confirmed the place was open on that day since language barrier was one of big challenging if us want to call by ourself. I am so thankful to the owner. She even got us taxi/driver to go our place since the location has no english name. If have 100 stars, I definitely give her 100 stars because of her great & warmer hospitality 🥹 This hotel also near to Caicun Wharf one of most attractive place in Dali. Easier to book didi to go anywhere! And this hotel has heater, very important when winter season!

Stay for one night but i extend of another 4 hours of stay because this hotel is cery comfy. I stay in many hotels during my trip to yunnan. I could conclude this is the best hotel in my trip here. The staffs are very friendly and helpful during my stay here. Near to suncheng street, nanping street, fashion mall and perfect place to stay (all places only 10-15 min by walking). One of the best hotels we stayed. Room is brilliant, beautifully decorated, very clean. Hot water is instant, AC capable of blowing hot air, fantastic for the cold wintry nights. The owners of the hotel provide excellent services, in keeping guests connected through Wechat way before arrival date and throughout our stay. Helped us too to order Peking duck when we were exhausted after a day of sightseeing. Their afternoon tea and evening ******* butter tea spread a spirit of good cheer amongst the guests. Really love the fabulous breakfast every day, with lovely views of JDS mountain to boot.

Our train arrived at midnight so this hotel was the best choice. It is very near to the train station and even has a convenience store. The staff was very responsive and friendly. I love their room decor and very comfortable bedsheets. Definitely 5/5!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very conveniently located near to the Kunming Railway Station. Took me only 5 mins to reach after coming back from Dali. The room is clean, comfortable and has all the essential things u need. It’s super high tech with voice control for most of the electronics. One extra plus point is also the check out time of 2pm. There are many choices of food at level one of the building and food is really nice. Metro stations are abt 10mins walk away.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Kunming Railway Station. It’s just 5 mins walk away from the North Entrance. It’s is also abut 10mins walk away from 2 metro stations of Line 2&1. There are a lot of restaurants at the level one of the hotel and food are great. There is also a huge supermarket, ShengSiong at level 1. Those travelers from Singapore will be very familiar with ShengSiong. I reached the hotel at 8am and they were kind enough to let me check in. The room is super big, clean, and with very nice city view. Couldn’t have asked for a better room. Will definitely stay there again.

Hotel receptionists are friendly and helpful, they shared the direction how to go tourists places and recommended one day tour. Cafe also provided nice breakfast and keep asking us if to add on more foods. Thanks for the washing machine and dryer, function well too. But the hotel signboard is not so obvious and cannot be found on the spot until we reached at the corner and saw it. Power points in the rooms quite few only and one side is faulty so better to monitor and replace new. Overall the room and hotel services is still not bad.

Reached Lijiang via Rail and took a 5rmb bus ride which I can buy the ticket before the railway station exit. It take about 40mins and alight at the North gate of the Lijiang Ancient town. Walked for about 10mins to reach the hotel. Very easy to find. It’s located right at the outer circumference of the ancient town, away from the pub music at night. The room is big, clean and comfortable. The receptionist is super friendly and helpful. I book tours with him and he will advise what tourists trap to avoid. There are a lot of food options just at the main road 10 meters away. Visited the Elephant Hill at 黑龙潭 park. Best location to see the sunrise of Yulong Mountains, best of all, it’s free if you reach there before 7am. Had a very nice tea session with the staff of the hotel. The tea is super nice and no hard selling of the tea products. We enjoyed chatting abt everything under the sun. Will definitely come back and stay here in future.

Location is inside the old town, just 2 mins walk from the entrance. Room is clean and comfortable. We were greeted by Xiao Bai whenever we return to the hotel.The host was extremely helpful to our needs and requests. She helped us to book and arrange for a tour to the Snow Mountain, booked Didi to the train station and even gave us some flower cakes when we checked out. Will surely recommend this hotel to my friends.

I found this to be an excellent stay on my trip. The location is superb, being only a stones throw from the North Gate of Lijiang Ancient City. The room was nice with a great walk-in shower and heated-seat toilet; the bed was large and comfortable—great for a tall traveller such as myself! And the staff were both friendly and generous with their time: they helped me on several occasions to get around the area, including the Tiger Leaping Gorge which, without their help, I may have missed my connecting bus to the trek. I highly recommend this place to others looking to stay in Lijiang. The staff are the highlight and I am grateful for their assistance during my stay.

Located abit downhill from the main road... Those who bring big hand luggage can contact the hotel earlier to help with the luggage. The male receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Room is very value for money with hot shower and basic amenities.

Yunxi definitely is the best place we have stayed throughout our 12 days trip. This is mainly contributed by the warm hospitality of 十三少. 十三少is the best host one could have ever asked for. He cautioned us of the landmines to avoid, helped us in our preparation for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain as we have elderly in our group. He suggested restaurants where it suits our Singaporean&Malaysian taste buds and very friendly to our pockets. In the day when we were up at the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, he texted us to check if we were doing alright and if the elderly was feeling alright. In his place, he fed us well with endless supply of pomegranate, pu’er tea, snacks and his secret stash of 白酒. 十三少is more than a host to us, he’s a friend, which we will come back to whenever we are at Lijiang. Cost performance (性价比） is definitely very high with high quality bathroom ware (Kohler), Dyson hairdryer, projector tv, mini washing machine and dryer in the room, comfortable beds and the rooms are super spacious. Basic amenities are all well prepared. We will definitely choose this place again should we decide to come back to Lijiang given the warm hospitality by 十三少。

I had an amazing stay at Yutang Luxury Resort Hotel, located in the heart of Dali’s Gu Cheng. The location itself is a huge plus—nestled within the charming old town, it’s easy to take your time and explore the vibrant surroundings. The hotel serves a simple but delightful breakfast, and I found it to be just perfect for starting the day. It’s not overly extravagant, but it’s incredibly satisfying. One of the best things about the resort is its proximity to bars and local nightlife—just a short walk away, you can enjoy the lively atmosphere of Gu Cheng until late. The staff at Yutang were attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any request. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for anyone visiting Dali. It offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warmth.

The room so called vip surprise is a bit small, the room decoration is quite nice and the cleanliness is superb. The hotel location is a bit tricky and very difficult to find for travellers. The Google Map was unable to show you the exact location but it is within 50m radius, the hotel is located behind the 1st row shop houses and beside the local market. You can see it from the local market but it has no access to the hotel. A proper signage should be planted to guide the tourists to the hotel as we wasted almost 30 minutes searching for the hotel where it is only 50 meter away from our drop of area.

This hotel is very unique and warm, it feels like home and represents the Bai's culture. The location is so great, it's so close to the main road where the bus from the train station stops and where the bus to Lijiang gets on (only 2-3 minutes, you just need to cross the road). Not only that, it is also within walking distance to the dali ancient town, it's actually in the area of ancient town. The lady owner speaks english really well!! And in addition christina, the front desk lady + the front desk guy helped me booking my bus ticket to lijiang, i am so grateful.

We stayed at the Dali BoMan Sea View Hotel and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. While we didn’t expect it to be located in a condominium building, this added a sense of safety and privacy. The hotel is situated on the highest floor, offering breathtaking views from the room. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the room itself was incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, even going the extra mile to offer us hot milk every evening—a thoughtful touch that made us feel right at home. Although the hotel is about a 30-minute ride from Dali Ancient City by Didi, it wasn’t an inconvenience for us. Coming from Singapore, we appreciated that halal food was relatively easy to find in the area, though the best options were closer to the ancient city. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking for stunning views, a clean and comfortable stay, and attentive service. Just keep in mind the slightly longer travel time to the ancient city if you’re planning frequent trips there.

The hotel is right on the beach, clean and has great service! Haha...If you live on the fourth floor, you have to climb the stairs by yourself. The sea breeze is very strong at night, hitting the windows and making noise, which will affect your sleep a little.

We booked a family room (at 4th floor) and stayed for 2 nights. Note that there’s no lift in the hotel. The staff was very helpful as he helped carry our luggages to our room. The room was spacious and clean and has all the necessities.The hotel location is quite close to the old town, walking distance only. We arrived at hotel quite early and the staff let us checked in earlier than the check-in time. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

Facilities: The hotel is one of the few hotels in Dali with an elevator, which is very suitable for bringing the elderly and children to stay. In addition to the need to climb a few steps to enter the hotel. The facilities in the room are very new, the shower water is comfortable, and the bathtub room is booked. I made an appointment the day before, but I felt a little unwell the next day, so I quickly contacted the hotel to cancel the photo shoot. Interested friends should not miss it. Our experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel. The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance. The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not. Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression. Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality. Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay here! The location is very convenient, about 2 minute walk to the south gate of the ancient city yet well hidden in a nearby alley so we could enjoy quiet nights. The host was amazing and super considerate. They helped us with our luggage and provided everything we needed during our stay, and even offered us extra water on our departure day for our trip. The little inn has a fantastic laid back vibe that matches perfectly with the slow Dali lifestyle. There was a patio on the 4th floor where we could see the mountain flowing beautifully in the distance. We would recommend anyone traveling alone or with family to stay here. Would come again.
