"The hotel boasts a great location, fantastic restaurant, and warm, attentive service. The breakfast staff are exceptionally thoughtful with a strong sense of service, and the restaurant offers a comfortable environment and well-maintained facilities. It was my first time encountering a breakfast that extends until 12 PM. Not only do they serve standard fare, but they also feature internet-famous deep-fried rice cakes (youzhagao), frozen pears, and Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork), plus a complimentary 3D-printed yogurt from the restaurant. Bringing out-of-town friends here is an absolute face-saver! The restaurant service elevates the entire hotel experience to the next level—it goes beyond industry standards while truly reflecting Harbin's sincerity toward both locals and visitors! The hotel also incorporates thoughtful service into every single detail: from the souvenirs given to children at front desk check-out, to the complete set of bathroom amenities, even including a headband for female guests, a humidifier in the room, and an infant toilet and washbasin in the family room, which moms will absolutely love! All in all, Habsburg is one of the most impressive hotels I've ever stayed at—the kind of place you want to return to as soon as you leave. I believe it has reached international standards and I highly recommend it!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral. It's also very close to the Public Security Bureau, which made us feel very safe. They offer breakfast and a late-night snack, both of which were quite tasty. Our pre-holiday booking was great value for money! The hotel facilities are also good, and the staff were incredibly enthusiastic – full marks for service!"

"Surrounded by residential compounds, it's very quiet. It's close to the church and the southern gate of Central Street, making transportation, dining, and hailing a taxi very convenient. It's only about a ten-minute taxi ride from Harbin Station. The towels are a bit old, but considering the price, I can't expect perfection!"

"The first things I noticed were the convenient location and how clean the hotel was. I really loved the Lavande scent in the shampoo, body wash and air diffuser — everything smelled so nice and relaxing. The room was very comfortable and quite big, especially the orthopaedic pillows. I also loved the smart home system, especially being able to play music while taking a shower — such a nice little touch! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back!"

Our first trip of '26 brought us to Harbin in Heilongjiang, Northeast China – the farthest we've traveled in over seventy years. We were quite apprehensive about coming to Harbin: first, the long journey and potential for a bumpy ride; second, the cultural differences between North and South, and whether we'd adapt. Despite these concerns, an inner drive pushed us to try it, leading to this Harbin trip! After buying our sleeper train tickets to Harbin, we started searching for hotels online. Ctrip recommended Manman B&B to us, and after staying for two days, we felt very satisfied. It was clean, comfortable, quiet, and conveniently located with a bus stop right outside. The customer service was exceptionally responsive to all our requests, making us, two seniors totaling 143 years old, feel warmly welcomed. Because of this, we even extended our stay in Harbin by an extra day. Harbin is truly wonderful! The people of Harbin are even better! Harbin is getting better and better!"

"Right on the bustling Central Avenue, they arranged a coveted paid parking spot right in front of the hotel for us – a huge plus! As soon as we entered, we were offered afternoon tea at a cozy seating area while checking in. It was my first time enjoying such a lavish afternoon tea, with a wide variety of delicious items, absolutely no corners cut. They proactively upgraded our room, and the two 1.2-meter beds put together were large and super comfortable. We also received welcome fruit, a souvenir, and sleep-aid milk, all of excellent quality. The accommodation environment, facilities, and service were all fantastic. Getting around from Central Avenue was incredibly convenient. It was also easy to visit the Hongzhuan Street morning market. There are many famous Qiqihar BBQ and Russian restaurants nearby, making it perfect for dining and sightseeing."

"(This is absolutely, 100% genuine and I'm so touched!!!) My boyfriend and I traveled together, and we only booked this hotel in Xuexiang the night before, but it turned out to be the luckiest decision I made on this trip! Shortly after booking, they assigned us an incredibly enthusiastic butler! From travel itinerary planning to basic hotel services, he was almost always online 24/7. He explained all the activities available in the scenic area, customized our route based on our preferences, helped us book all our tickets, and even arranged our return transportation to Harbin, considering the heavy snow might block roads. Ahhh, seriously, if we had any questions or didn't know where to go, we could ask him and he'd reply instantly! So cool! When we got back to the hotel at 11 PM, the hotel restaurant was closed, and there was no delivery service in Xuexiang. But our butler first prepared frozen pears, frozen persimmons, and other fruits for us, and then went out into the snow, checking multiple stores to get us dinner 🥹 (He truly anticipated all our needs and proactively recommended more cost-effective options – he's seriously so genuine 🥹) The hotel restaurant service was also excellent; the dishes were incredibly fresh and delicious! Today was so much fun! The building of the homestay is atmospheric and stylish, the lobby is decorated with white teak wood, full of northern forest characteristics, and the atmosphere is full. The room decoration is high-end and exquisite, clean and bright, the bedding is comfortable, the sound insulation is very good, and the quality of quiet rest is super high at night. The yard in front of the door is spacious and self-driving parking is very convenient. The most surprising thing is the food that comes with the homestay! The authentic northeast flavor, the pot-wrapped meat is tender in the outside, the braised river fish is fresh and fragrant, a table of home-cooked dishes taste authentic, the ingredients are fresh, and the taste is online. "I visited Harbin with my elderly mother during the National Day holiday. We arrived at the hotel at noon, and as I was wondering how to carry our luggage upstairs, a kind female staff member proactively offered to help. The next day, because we had booked a one-day tour and had an early departure, I was worried about missing breakfast. The front desk reassured me that bread and eggs would be available, which immediately put my mind at ease. Whenever I had questions, the young men and women at the front desk were always enthusiastic and helpful, making me feel completely at home. If I ever come back to Harbin, I'll definitely stay here again."

"The hotel facilities are quite decent. The small courtyard area is very well-maintained and clean. We had a very comfortable stay; everything was spotlessly clean. Cleanliness: Excellent. Environment: Also very good. Service: Absolutely top-notch, couldn't be better. The only slight drawback is that the surrounding environment of Beijicun village itself isn't the best. But given its remote location, the overall experience was still very positive. This hotel is definitely recommended. It has its own restaurant, and the food served is all quite good."

I have to make this review before the winter ends because this homestay deserves all the guests coming to snow town and snow valley. The hospitality of the owners is beyond imagination, i’m not kidding! They have been extremely helpful in guiding us throughout our travel to snow town and snow valley. We communicate using a translator but it still feels like speaking with a friend. Don’t hesitate to ask questions regarding your trip and the activities that you want to do. As for us, we booked a 3d/2n stay with them. They helped us maximize our itinerary as well. 2 nights before our tour, the owner gave us the number of bus driver. We paid the bus tickets in advance. Day 1 8am-2pm - Bus from Harbin to Snow Town (Xuexiang). We left our luggages in the bus. Tickets bought at the entrance. Dont worry about prebooking. Play in Snow Town until 8pm. 8pm - Bus ride from Snow Town to Snow Valley. The bus driver already knows where to drop us. At the bus stop, we were fetched by car and brought to the inn (~2 min ride). Day 2 9am-4pm Play at Guoxiongling Bear Ridge. For 400rmb/pax, we went up the mountain by snowmobile. We played banana boat drift, snowmobile, some went skiing and a super amazing view! There were also fun group activities! :) Note: The owner gave us drone videos of ourselves and took pictures of us. He also brought his insta360 and gave us copies of group activities videos. You can also use this during the banana boat drift which would look awesome with insta360. The owner is also a licensed ski instructed but my husband didn’t want to ski so there’s that. Haha. We went down around 3pm by snowmobile. At 5pm, we ordered dinner from their restaurant. The Northeastern Fish Stew is amazing!! Try it and thank me later. After dinner we did the hot water in ice trick for Free! We also had fun talking about traveling and sharing stories of our pets, while having tea, frozen persimmons, peach and sunflower seeds. 🥰 Day 3 Departure date. Bus leaves at 6am and 9am. They booked the bus for us back to harbin. I wish we could have stayed longer! Room we stayed had a heated Kang bed. The floor had heating too. Toiletries are complete with indoor slippers. Breakfast serving is large! The room is clean, with water heater. On top of that, it’s 1/10th of the price of snow town accommodations. Snow village offers a unique experience away from the glittery lights and sounds of snow town. It is both peaceful and charming. Thank you Liu Bo and your husband for the awesome stay we had. We truly appreciate it! Thank you for the surprise and gifts as well! :) We hope to see you soon again!

We chose this hotel for our trip to Yabuli, and its location is fantastic. There are plenty of recreational activities right within the resort. Our stay was excellent; the room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, and the bedding was super comfortable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was very efficient. The environment is quiet, and overall, it offers good value for money. Plus, the sightseeing cable car offers beautiful views, and the Rainbow Flying Carpet is exciting and fun! Highly recommend!

Facilities: There's a restaurant on the first floor that offers breakfast. The selection isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate. The room was spacious and had a large window. There were no strange odors, and the bathroom was a good size with a separate wet and dry area. Ambiance: Clean and tidy, with lively decor. The signature Ibis red makes it feel warm and inviting. Service: The young lady at the front desk had a smile that could melt anyone (and I'm a woman!). She was a major highlight of the hotel – so enthusiastic and empathetic. When she saw my mom and I were sharing a bed, she proactively upgraded us to a twin room, which was also very spacious, and even gave us complimentary egg tarts upon check-in. Her proactive spirit and warm service made our stay truly enjoyable! 😀 Hygiene: The hotel maintained the usual Ibis standard of cleanliness. There was no hair on the room floor, and both the toilet and shower areas were excellent and very spacious.

Having stayed at hotels in both Xuexiang and Xuegu, this guesthouse in Xuegu is definitely the king of value for money! Let me tell you about its advantages: 1) Underfloor heating throughout the entire house. Every corner of the room was incredibly warm, which is super important in places like Xuegu and Xuexiang where nighttime temperatures can drop to minus twenty degrees Celsius. 2) The owner is such a warm, chatty, and responsible young woman. As soon as I arrived, she greeted me with a big handful of frozen pears and persimmons. The next day, when she took me up Xiongling (Bear Ridge), I accidentally dropped my gloves while taking photos and my hands were freezing stiff. Without a word, she gave me her own down gloves and endured the cold herself on the way down the mountain. It was truly touching! As for the drawbacks, the room facilities are quite basic, but they do provide essential toiletries like toothbrushes, disposable towels, shower gel, etc. Besides lacking the unique advantage of snow mushroom houses, Xuegu is still great for playing in the snow and doesn't feel as overly commercialized as Xuexiang. If you're not specifically looking to check out the snow mushroom houses, you might want to consider guesthouses in Xuegu, haha.

The hotel's front desk service was incredibly welcoming, and they even gave us a small gift. We were very satisfied with our room and were also granted a late check-out. The service overall was excellent. They provided a complimentary afternoon tea, and on the second floor, there's a Russian restaurant and a 'tieguodun' (iron pot stew) place, plus they offered discount coupons. There are many great restaurants and attractions around the hotel, and Central Street is beautiful. It was a really great experience!

My stay here was great! The front desk staff were really friendly and efficient with the check-in process, which was a nice touch. The room itself was clean and tidy, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom layout was well-designed with a practical wet/dry separation. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay and I'd definitely recommend it, especially since it's so close to the train station!

All in all, Habsburg is one of the most impressive hotels I've ever stayed at—the kind of place you want to return to as soon as you leave. Harbin Anshu Family Hotel has only 7 rooms and a family who look after the rooms and guests. Their services are just outstanding. I had a serious problem when i arrived as i had not had time in Beijing, where i was in transit from UK to Harbin, to get a phone SIM Card. Anshu Family Hotel took me to the China Mobile shop in Harbin and stayed with me until i got my card. They flatly refused payment for helping me even though it cost them a lot of time so i got them some grapes as a very small gift to say thankyou for helping me so kindly. The process took nearly two hours due to a complication on my UK phone number settings. However the staff at China Mobile were really good, the Anshu Family were just incredibly patient. They simply would not leave until i was fixed up and able to use my phone. I stayed for just under a week to go to see the major attractions in Harbin, a City with a totally unique identity in China due to its Russian and European Architecture. It is one of the most fascinating cities i have ever visited, Harbin Museum being quite astonishing in its variety and quality of Artifacts. It was the 16th Museum or Museum type building i have visited in China and one of the most enjoyable. This year was Harbins 26th Ice Show, with the Winter Games coming up soon. The Anshu Family Hotel is spot on location for both events, just a $3 taxi ride or Metro for just cents. The hotel has lots of shops, supermarkets, several food roads bristling with many many choices of meal. The Anshu Family make a very low charge for their rooms, in my opinion it could be far higher but they stick at their price. I had not asked for breakfast as i go out early to get to see as much as possible during my day sightseeing. The night before i left i asked them if they would get me a taxi for the morning to get my train. I was to get the taxi at 6.45am. At 5.50 a knock on the door and they came to give me three boiled eggs and a meat stew with noodles. Honestly no Hotel has treated me so kindly. I really recommend grabbing a room with Anshu most especially if you are going to the Ice Show or Winter games. It is a budget Hotel, so be aware of that, but I got a spotless sheet, cover duvet and i was as warm as toast room at night. The water shower is piping hot. Opposite the Hotel road is a huge Govt building as a landmark, i never had any problem finding it. There is a Bank of China two hundred metres from Anshu Family Hotel. Anshu, in my opinion must be one of the top deals on offer from Trip.com.

Every day since leaving Xinfu, I've been missing the sledding hill behind the lodge (it was free and unlimited!). The owner even helps guests take photoshoots like 'splashing water into ice' (he took three amazing shots for me 😎) and 'glowing with colors.' He's an incredibly skilled photographer, and those pictures instantly elevated my social media game. They also organized a session where we all made candied hawthorns together. As an extrovert, being able to chat with everyone like that was just so enjoyable! The owner also led the trip to Wusong Ridge, keeping us entertained, taking photos, and even teaching us how to ski along the way. As someone from the south, I truly got to experience the thrill of playing wildly in the snow! And of course, the accommodation itself was very unique, with a traditional heated *kang* bed, ensuring a deep sleep until morning. Waking up to hot porridge in the morning was just heavenly!
