Hostels in Lao Cai Province, Vietnam

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, The location is good. Very near to the nearby lake, bus terminal and the Notre Dame Church. I booked a room with a city view but was not assigned to such a room upon our check in, though upon my verbal request, they transferred us to the room with a city view on the second floor. Unfortunately, we notice that the hallway going to that room is being used as a stocked area of some unused beds causing quite discomfort in walking along that way to our room. The comfort room also needs some repair and improvements. With a rusty and detached towel hanger inside. The room itself is okay but has a defective door knob. On our last night of stay, we were not able to have sound sleep due to continuous noise within the hotel Which we were not able to identify where the noise is coming from. Practically, we still recommend this hotel for those who are planning to have trips to Sa Pa

We arrived late at night, but no one met us despite the information about the 24-hour resepshen. We went to search the house for free rooms after some time. It took some time, we were very worried, a hundred people will be disturbed. Of course it would be much more comfortable if the host left the instruction and information in which rooms we can locate. This is an absolutely authentic place, according to the feelings of , like a dacha, respectively the same convenience. The house is wooden, heated in the day, but cool in the night. I didn't risk walking in the shower there, in the wall a pretty big clutch to the street, and the pressure of water leaves the desire for the best. Bear in mind that it is quite far from the center of Sapa, taxi can be called, but it is about 300k. The price is attractive, but we took an extra 400k. It turned out that free breakfast was up to 10 a.m. and we ate after. No one warned us about it. Breakfast is modest and not big.

Had a great stay here! It was everything that I was looking for. Beautiful view surrounded by nature and activities to do if you wanted. Definitely would stay here again.
