It is a very comfortable place where locals live, eat and shop in Besiktas. The ferry is very close and the hotel environment is also OK. If you want to feel the local life, it is recommended to stay there.

It was a good hostel, the aircon was there and I could sleep relatively well. Some noise is there, but for this area it’s hard to find very quiet place. The service was great and welcoming. The person on reception advised good local restaurant across the street for dinners (I highly recommend that).

It’s my second time staying in this hostel because of their amazing views from terrace while having breakfast. Friendly staff that makes you feel like you are home.
Location is perfect as you are close by to Hagia Sofia, blue mosque many restaurants with rooftops, shops and tram. Would definitely recommend it

The shop opened by the Turkish owner is much better than the hotel opened by the Chinese. Many Chinese people live here, and they take care of breakfast and change the quilt after staying for a few days. It's near the sea. Supermarkets and fast food restaurants around are very convenient. Consumption is not very high. Except for supermarkets, when buying things near the supermarket, you must first ask the price before buying.

The location is very good, very close to the Hagia Sophia, the Underground Water Palace and the Blue Mosque. It is also very convenient to take the T1 tram, which is 200 meters away. The cat on the top-floor balcony is super cute. I paid attention to the ins of the store. The cat on the left is called Kaplan (male), and the one on the right is not clear. Maybe it is called Steven. I heard the staff call that.

The rooms are tastefully decorated, offering a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional Turkish flair. I was fortunate enough to have a room with a view of the Bosphorus, and it was nothing short of breathtaking.
One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious breakfast served each morning. The spread was diverse, with a wide range of Turkish and international options. It was the perfect way to start my day of exploring Istanbul.
Taksim Green House also offers easy access to Istanbul's top attractions, including the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. After a day of sightseeing, returning to the comfort of this boutique hotel was a true pleasure.

GGuest UserGreat budget hotel near Istiklal. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Friendly hosts, always ready to help. There is free coffee and tea plus a kitchen where you can cook and cook utensils. I stayed here not the first time and will come again. For the price, this is the best option in the area. Wi-Fi works fast - you can work safely. The bathroom only has soap. From the minuses to someone, sometimes they sit on the street near the guest house like ***************, but they don't bother anyone.

EEmirahanI came to Istanbul for a business trip and preferred to stay at Gökçe Hostel. The price performance is very good, it is a reasonable price, it is a reliable place. The hotel staff is good, they solve a problem immediately, I got a positive energy during my stay as a customer. The rooms are clean, the sink and shower places are very nice and modernly designed. Hotels like this are usually expensive. But Gökçe Hostel is cute, warm-blooded, customer-oriented, they work with friendly staff, reasonable price, clean, reliable, fast internet in the room, hot water 24/7, instant connection to a customer representative. In short, we can say that the service provided here is above the price paid.

AAnonymous UserThis hostel is a hidden gem! I booked it for a short overnight stay because it's conveniently located on the direct M4 metro line to Sabiha Gokcen (SAW) Airport.
I arrived around midnight and was warmly welcomed by Mert, who was both friendly and professional. We had a great conversation about education and travel.
The place was incredibly clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. I wish I could have stayed longer—perhaps next time I’m back in Istanbul!
The only downside is that the bathrooms and showers are not en-suite. Both male and female guests share the same shower area, while the toilets are separated but located in the same large room.
A perfect stay: short and sweet.

LLeón-clDon't be fooled by Google Maps, because you won't find that sign. The location is first-rate, right next to the Blue Mosque, and the surrounding atmosphere is very good, suitable for opening. If you have obsessive-compulsive disorder, don't live there. Those who lively can't sleep before two o'clock in the morning, there is nothing wrong with that. Breakfast used to be included, but now it’s cancelled. And the on-site reservation is 20% cheaper than the online price
