It was fine for a few nights, but not very social. The bed was spacious, which was nice, but I didn’t like the indoor bathroom and shower setup. There’s no soundproofing, so you can hear people using the facilities. Because of the noise, I avoided using the bathroom in the morning and late at night.

The environment is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The room is clean and sanitary. The toilet has good hot water. The bed is very comfortable. It is worth recommending
The hotel is suitable for light sleepers because the rooms may not be very soundproof. But everything else is very good: location, room size, service, strong water, heats up quickly, air conditioning is cool, and the price is very good.

Clean rooms
Friendly staff
Provided towel, comforter, shower gel, shampoo, hair blower and cotton buds which I thick perfect for a backpacker.
Quiet environment
Friendly service, excellent location.
Pros:
- Excellent location within walking distance to most things.
- Friendly helpful service.
- Safe for solo female travellers.
- Lovely back yard with swings.
- Wonderful simple breakfast.
- Nice areas to sit and relax in on all levels.
Cons:
- Curtains in the Queen bed room could be improved so they cover the entire area. They were not the correct size and people can be seen in their bed.
- No rules for dorm lights. Other travellers kept their lights on if they were out, or would turn on the main light when everyone is sleeping. I didn't get a proper sleep most nights. Bigger curtains might fix this too.
Definitely recommend!

Really loved my stay here- they give you a towel for free which is always super appreciated! It was quite a chill hostel, seemed like lots of people who were working while traveling or just keeping to themselves- not a super social vibe. Really really appreciated the breakfast in the morning- they make you eggs to order! Thought this was an excellent perk- really really good value for the price. Has all the amenities you would need, and can help book tours. Super close to the square, location is great. Bed was comfy and big- liked the built in locker in your bed area as well, nice for keeping your belongings close by. Would definitely recommend you stay here if you’re wanting a really nice hostel with a calm vibe.
The capsule is not soundproof and you can hear the minimum noise outside, although they have a no noise policy after 10 so it's not like they follow them. The man who slept in the top bunk snored all night so I didn't sleep at all. I never saw the receptionist and I stayed two days, inclusive I make a request in my booking but never had an answer. I just meet the cleaner in the morning and she cannot speak English, although friendly. Amenities 10/10. Include fridge no kitchen

Great service, easy check in and check out. The garden area is lovely and the place as a whole as well. The room is spacious and clean. Bed made and new water everyday. The staff were lovely and the location is great! Especially for going to freedom yoga. Only negative was the bed had big lumps and dips in it so the mattress was a little uncomfortable but overall the price and value is really good.
LLogan SolamanI recently stayed at October Hostel located in the vibrant Nimman area of Chiang Mai, and I must say, my experience was exceptional!
Location: The hostel's location is perfect for anyone looking to explore Chiang Mai. Nestled in the bustling Nimman neighborhood, it offers easy access to the city center and is just a short drive from the airport, making it incredibly convenient for travelers.
Host and Service: Mark, the hostel owner, was incredibly hospitable. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel welcome and was eager to share his knowledge of the city. His insights and tips on where to go and what to do in Chiang Mai greatly enhanced my experience.
Accommodations: The rooms at October Hostel are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While I stayed in a standard room this time, I was tempted by the option to upgrade to a much larger room. Given the quality of my stay, I am definitely considering this upgrade on my next visit!
Overall Experience: I highly recommend October Hostel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Whether you’re a solo traveler or coming with friends, the combination of a great location, warm hospitality, and excellent facilities make this hostel a top choice.
Tip for Future Guests: Don’t hesitate to ask Mark for local recommendations – he truly knows the best spots in town!
Looking forward to my next stay at October Hostel, and I can’t wait to try out the larger room!
BBayla Vered98 Tower Hotel is an excellent choice for travelers seeking convenience and comfort. The rooms are spacious and equipped with a washing machine, making it ideal for longer stays. Parking spaces for cars and motorcycles are readily available. Its location is perfect, with shops and food stalls within walking distance. SSan L12The booking with Trip.com was easy and straight forward. We booked bunk beds in a private room for 2 person but was told the room wss occupied and not available. We were offered a 12 bunker bed mixed dormitory instead.
The hostel is located outside the old Chiang Mai town, about 15mins walk to Chiang Mai University. It is a nice quiet hostel but because it is getting warm thus it is unavoidable to have mosquitoes. The place is clean with a nice dining space with a microwave, fridge, hot water and washing basin. The hostel provides coffee and tea. They also have white bread jam and butter in the morning for us. The only set back was that there's a moldy smell for our bunker room. We believed that the place had not been used for awhile and the place had been surrounded with trees. There's an laundromat nearby.

SShuhuaThe location is excellent. It is convenient to enter and leave the ancient city. Currency exchange transactions are very convenient. Waluoluo Market, Big C Hypermarket, Quchen’s, Chiang Mai Tourist Night Market, 7-11 are just around the corner. Will stay again
