Hostels in Sihanoukville Province, Cambodia

I love this chain of hostels, but on Koh Rong the conditions were a bit Spartan: 12 beds in a room (there weren't even any other options), no hot water in the shower, beds without shelves and personal space. But the breakfasts are delicious! The location is just top, right on the seashore. The hostel has a lot of hammocks, sun loungers and other places to relax on the beach. And of course, a crazy atmosphere and parties 🤘🏻

Firstly, I apologize for being not careful enough to read the hidden details about the room I booked in a rush, due to lots of other reasons related to bad logistics provided by the bus company and ferry operators. At the site, after the check-in, when I was presented with the property, I was quite shocked that the whole hut had just a simple zip line as a doorway, and at the bottom it was locked with the lock though all the other length of the “gates” had a full access to the insides. The shared WC was a total shock, too poor and too tiny and too weirdly placed right at the hut side. The location was awful too: in the middle of the construction/ demolishing site and with the dump gutter on the other side, with the full access to the major pavement where travelers either hanging around or eating. I had no willing to check the “private beach”, definitely it was common and somewhere in front of the bar lane. In a word, the conditions were pretty miserable. Not corresponding with the ecstatics feedbacks.

Great location, clean toilets and showers.

Отель привлёк низкой ценой, по 550 рублей на человека. В номере мы были вдвоём, нам никого не подселили. До магазинов и прочего надо добираться на тук-туке, так как отель находится в зелёной зоне. Есть ресторан на берегу с беседками, столиками и качелями, вход в воду по лестницы с пирса. На следующий день акционная цена закончилась, номер стал стоить 10 долларов с человека и пропал вай-фай из-за аварии, поэтому мы переместились в другое место.

It’s a nice place and price, right next to the longest beach , there are many restaurants, clubs around, and Sam was really helpful on answering my loads of questions about locations and arrangements. Highly recommend.

For the old cannons on the north side of the island, this condition is good, but the single room blocks the light and does not block the sound, and people can hear it clearly. Apart from the rooms, the location of this hotel is the most beautiful. The sunrise on the mountain is superb. The bars in the public area are among the best on the island. The food is good, and more expensive than the roadside store. It's suitable for one person or two brothers, even the little girl.

Too many bugs in room and way too expensive for what you get.
