I was particularly impressed by the concierge team; their local knowledge was like a well-curated API for the city—whenever I had a query about hidden gems or logistical routes, they provided precise and helpful ”outputs.”
3. Room Quality and Comfort: The room was a sanctuary of modern design. The interface—meaning the room layout—was intuitive and spacious. I was assigned a suite on the 14th floor, offering a panoramic view of the skyline. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, providing excellent ”uptime” for my sleep quality. BB未I stayed here one night, en route to a somewhat professional meeting, and it was fine. The downstairs kitchen is very small but was cozy with a varied little crowd: a cinematic Peruvian business traveler, a vintage working class hero from the Balkans who made himself world class chicken, and a Dutch cosmopolitan who was bewildered by the strange outdated scenery in Leipzig.
The location of this hostel is likely the best among the choices as it's situated very close to the railway station and a museum. The staff was exceptionally friendly, for European standards, so this was a big plus.
The dorm I stayed in was the large one, but it's divided into three smaller rooms so it's rather quiet at night, which is good.

GGuest UserDuring my stay, I had an unpleasant encounter at the front desk. When I asked for towels, which I believed I had paid €4 for upon arrival, the receptionist (Felix) stated that I hadn't paid and that no one else was available to help me at that moment. The payment wasn't initially checked, and I was told that no towels would be provided without payment.
After I returned with my receipt, the payment was still questioned, and it was suggested that the €4 might have been for something else, like another purchase. Before contacting a colleague, he made the remark, ”You're not showering tonight anyway,” even though I hadn't mentioned showering. I found this unnecessary and uncomfortable. Only after my insistence did he contact a colleague, who explained that the €4 was for the city tax and bed linen. Once this was clarified, the issue was immediately resolved. This situation could have been cleared up from the beginning if a colleague had been contacted right away.
I also observed guests being loudly addressed in common areas when house rules were enforced, and activities were stopped without explanation. While the hostel itself was nice, the style of communication made my stay unpleasant. I would not stay here again and believe that clearer and more considerate communication from the staff would significantly improve the experience.

JJudith YouAlthough the location is not near the train station, the city is not big. From the New Town Railway Station, take the 11 tram three stops and walk for five or six minutes. Although the bathroom is public, after all, it is clean and well designed, and there is no obstacle to use. There is free coffee at the reception on the first floor and free tea bags in the kitchen. The kitchen is small, but very clean. There is also free section in the refrigerator and shower. I think it is particularly good. You don't have to waste anything you don't want. In order to activate the mobile phone card, the front desk staff helped a lot and the attitude was very good. The only dissatisfaction is that my mobile phone has been connected to WiFi for many times in this youth hostel but shows that I can't surf the Internet. Both mobile phones are like this, and other youth hostels have not encountered it. I don’t know if it’s the phone or the WIFI.

MMs. G.NThis place is in the middle of the city centre. Such a convenient location. Its so beautiful and too good to be a hostel. The staff was super friendly and helpful too. Definitely recommend. They do have a breakfast on the lounge and gave a 10% discount on my first drink in the bar, which i find pretty awesome.

GGuest UserThe room is nice and tidy, but when I stayed for 2 nights, I can't clean the room and refill the towel. If you want, you have to pay 10 euros towels and 1 euros to clean.
