The location was great. The interior was very clean and stylish. The bathroom tiles were also beautiful. The hot springs were comfortable and had good water flow, with bubble baths, standing baths, and baths you can take while lying down. The open-air bath was also great and I was able to relax. They had midnight noodles, which were perfect for a light snack. Overall, it was a comfortable stay. I'd like to try the food next time.
Toba International Hotel Shiojitei was an absolute highlight of our trip. The exceptional service truly stood out, embodying the Japanese spirit of 'omotenashi' from start to finish. This began with the shuttle pick-up from Toba Station, followed by detailed guidance during check-in, and enthusiastic explanations of each dish in the restaurant – every interaction was flawless.
The food, featuring local delicacies like Ise Bay seafood and Matsusaka beef, was undeniably delicious and beautifully presented. While you mentioned the portion sizes were 'rather average,' this is typical of kaiseki-style dining; although there are many courses, individual portions are small. For those with larger appetites, it might feel a little insufficient. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, with both the guest rooms and the onsen area (the Pearl Onsen left our skin sparkling!) being spotlessly clean. Overall, it has no obvious weaknesses; the service, dining, and ambiance harmonized perfectly to provide the best hotel experience of our trip.
The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable, and it is very comfortable and comfortable. And for the most geek of you, the statues of Alien and Predator are super impressive.
A relaxing stay with excellent hot springs—especially the outdoor bath with lovely views. The dinner was also very good, with fresh seafood and a satisfying Japanese dining experience.
I most highly recommend this place for an authentic Japanese ryokan experience. Splurge some and get the nicer room—you won’t regret it. Impeccable service, delicious Japanese breakfast. The bath is generously open to use all night until the morning. There is also a great and affordable sushi izakaya restaurant next door.
When planning my summer vacation trip, I suddenly wanted to go to Ise. When I was looking for a hotel on ctrip, I saw the Ise Jingu Hotel. There were few reviews, so I decided with trepidation. The hotel was just across the street from Ise Station. It was very close and the staff were very friendly. We arrived a little early and they stored our luggage for us. We went out for a walk first. When we came back, the room was ready. They confirmed the breakfast and dinner times with us. Then, we went back to the room. The room was not big, but there was a hot spring on the terrace, so we didn’t have to go to the public hot spring. When we had dinner, they made two other beds for us, so our family of four could sleep well. The dinner and breakfast were both very rich, but the two kids couldn’t finish them all, which felt a bit wasteful. I don’t know if we can choose a children’s set meal. In addition, I don’t know if it was because of the language communication. They didn’t introduce us to the use of the hot spring and other public facilities in advance. It was a bit of a pity, but I still gave it a good review.
You don't speak English well, but you're very kind. I didn't speak Japanese well, so I talked with a translator, but he kindly told me about the room and the shared bathroom. 👍 Even though it was 7 pm at night, it was dark from the moment I got off at the station. The operation time of nearby shops is very short There are not many restaurants around the dormitory except convenience stores. Instead, it's very close to the ferry dock to Nagoya Airport. Recommended for those who want to experience tatami rooms at an affordable price.
The hot spring hotel service was very good. It rained heavily that day. The waitress was very good to help me hold an umbrella to our car. I waited for us to leave the car. I respected the guests. The grilled fish for breakfast was very delicious.
Upon arrival, they played a welcome drum. The room was nicely cleaned and we had a pleasant stay. There was a wide variety of dishes at dinner, more than we could eat, but since it was in our room, we were able to enjoy it at our leisure. The bath was lovely with a tatami floor.
I was told that toothbrushes were charged, but this was not listed in the hotel details, so it would be nice if this was stated. It would also be helpful if amenities were placed so that only those who wanted them could choose them.
There were two sets of towels and bath towels in the room, which were great to be able to use for bathing twice a day, at night and in the morning.
The staff also gave us detailed explanations.
The price was very reasonable, especially considering the time of year, which I liked!
I was a little bothered by the conversations people were making in the hallway that were getting into my room!
The food selection is wide, but I wish it was of high quality.
I'm not happy with cheap and bad food anymore.
The bath water was lukewarm. I'd like a sink and bubbles.
Overall it was good!

UUS36A typical guesthouse, nothing particularly noteworthy.
Because it's an old building, the soundproofing isn't great; the experience depends on how noisy other guests are.
It's a bit of a walk from the station, but not too far. There's a well-reviewed old restaurant near Isekai.
The directions say to go up the slope next to Lawson, but actually both sides are slopes, so it's unclear which slope is being referred to.
Based on the entrance facing Lawson, I strongly advise against taking the right-hand slope, especially when pushing a suitcase. The slope is very steep, and many of the drainage ditches are large enough to trap luggage, making it very difficult to walk.
I recommend taking the left-hand slope, which is much gentler.
GGuest UserYou shouldn't expect much women's baths, but I could use them in a chartered state. It seems that the men's bath is larger than the women's bath. The food was gorgeous, all delicious, and I couldn't eat rice. I was happy that the last dessert was ice cream. The room was clean and the staff, including the pick-up and drop-off, were nice.
NNanekoThe location is remote, so it is difficult to reach. Access to Tokyo takes about an hour, so you need to have plenty of time to act.
The room was clean and the amenities were substantial.
