Homestays in Kagawa Prefecture, Japan

I'm not particularly picky about accommodation, but this one looks a bit old, just like my student dormitory. Although the appearance is not attractive, the actual hygiene is OK. The service is basically self-service. It's just a little bit opposite the station square, and it's very convenient to walk to Takamatsu Castle. I booked a triple room for one person, but it feels like it can actually accommodate four or five people. It has its own advantages compared to staying in an Internet cafe, but it feels better than other youth hostels.

This accommodation is run by the ramen shop next door (which also serves set meals). It's still relatively new, and overall it was clean and comfortable. Best of all, the accommodation fee was very reasonable compared to other options, making it excellent value for money. There is also a washer/dryer, but this is available for an additional fee. I ate at the restaurant next door during my stay, and it was mostly locals, reasonably priced, and delicious.

Tokuto is a cut above the rest. If I ever stay in Teshima again, I’ll return here. Peaceful retreat, thoughtful touches, with a lot of attention to detail from the landscaping to the bathrooms. The host also makes the stay enjoyable with great hospitality. It felt like a family member was looking out for me, but also leaving me to make myself at home. A lot of care is taken and it shows and it is felt. A zen garden for a zen experience.

We stayed in a cube room. A great location to just spend the night and see the area. But, since it is a converted container, it quickly cools down on cold nights and you have to constantly heat the air with an air conditioner, and it is quite noisy. Not critical, but we were unable to get a good night's sleep

這次在 GOKAN KOTOHIRA 的兩晚住宿體驗非常出色，整體感覺遠超預期。酒店位於琴平町中心位置，步行到主要景點與餐廳都非常方便，對第一次來琴平的旅客來說十分友善。 我們入住的是金屬房（Metal Room），房間設計感強烈，乾淨整潔，空間規劃非常合理。床鋪舒適，睡眠質素很好，晚上非常安靜，完全沒有受到外界干擾。房內 Wi‑Fi 穩定快速，對需要上網工作或查資料的旅客來說非常方便。 雖然住宿沒有傳統前台，但入住指示清晰易明，整個自助入住流程順暢無壓力。酒店亦提供免費泊車，對自駕的住客來說非常貼心。 整體來說，這是一間兼具設計感、舒適度與便利性的住宿。無論是位置、房間質素、設施還是入住體驗都令人非常滿意。因為房間分兩層而出入口及浴室位於下層，行動不便或是腳力有限的朋友們舒適感可能會差些少，但仍非常推薦給計劃到琴平旅行的朋友，下次來香川一定會再次選擇這裡。

The hotel is relatively remote, and it is recommended to book if you have a car, but the environment is in nature, you can relax your mind and rest.

It is a nice and clean but small hostel. It is suitable for people with small or light luggage as there are no elevators. The location is very convenient, near the shopping streets and the train station.

We had an unforgettable time in Takamatsu thanks to booking at 777 Hotel. Since we arrived late, the front desk had to work overtime to open the door for us. The service was excellent, and the room was clean!

A spacious and artistic home with a touch of western design. The only downsides are the there is nothing much at the surrounding and the outlook looks pretty old

The room is not small, very comfortable, it is an apartment nature, you can cook, the room is not too convenient to be equipped with a microwave oven. The only problem is that this small room is a temporary room, the sound insulation is not particularly good, it is easy to wake up in the morning than birds or cicadas. In the morning there is free bread, butter, jam. There is a convenient soup, you can drink it. You can rent an electric bicycle, and it is especially convenient to ride around the island. There is a section of the road that does not allow bicycles to pass during the day. It seems that after 5 o'clock, the museum is closed and no one cares. Still quite recommended.
