The location is great, and because it's a new opening, the facilities are clean. What's even better is that even though I booked at a low price, the room was incredibly spacious! I also liked that it wasn't a carpeted floor, so I could walk barefoot without dust flying around. It's not a huge place. Breakfast is simple, like sandwiches. But for the price, I was very satisfied.
It feels more like a shared house than a hotel, so there aren't really any services. You should keep that in mind before you go.
This was a truly satisfying stay. Before checking in, I had visited Shirakawa-go and was a little disappointed not to see any snow. But then, on my first morning at the hotel, I pulled back the curtains to find it snowing heavily! It was absolutely amazing. I decided right then and there not to go anywhere and just enjoy the snow from the hotel.
The hotel is a bit older, but the room was clean and tidy. I had upgraded my room, and it wasn't small at all. The area mentioned in the description probably just refers to the room itself, but the entryway was also very spacious, allowing me to easily open my large luggage. The indoor balcony in front was also quite large, perfect for a family to sit and enjoy the snow.
The floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct mountain views, with the river flowing right below. The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the restaurant lobby were even more stunning – it was wonderful to enjoy the snow while dining.
Even the outdoor onsen provided beautiful views of the snow and river while soaking. The best part was how few people there were; both times, it was just me and my daughter, so there was no need to book a private onsen.
Behind the hotel, there's a walking trail. We explored it that day, and while the heavy snow made it a bit challenging to walk, it was incredibly beautiful and completely deserted. Every photo we took was a scenic masterpiece. Our shoes and socks got wet on the way back, but thankfully, we didn't feel cold.
There are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient to buy food and other necessities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
The staff were also very friendly. Although most of them didn't speak English, they used translation software, so communication was just a bit slow.
The hotel staff were very kind and welcoming, and we had no difficulties communicating in English. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area and has a convenient bus stop nearby. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
10/10 — I would definitely recommend!
This is my go-to hotel whenever I visit Kaga Onsen in Komatsu; I've stayed here a total of five times. That's how satisfied I am with their service, the quality of their hot springs, and the variety of food they offer. They even provide unlimited snacks, onsen eggs, drinks, and potatoes throughout the day, which is so good you barely need a full meal. There are three different hot spring baths, and since they operate on a rotating schedule for men and women, you get to experience all the different tubs. The facilities are well-maintained and spotless. I highly recommend it! The staff are all incredibly friendly, giving you a true taste of Japanese hospitality.
it's renovating an old private house
The bath, washroom, and communal kitchen are modern and simple and fashionable. The security was also solid, and I was able to stay with peace of mind.
There is also Nishi Chaya Street nearby, and I enjoyed the atmosphere in the morning and evening. It is a place I want to stay again
This is the kind of homestay where many people live together. There is only a separate space for three people, and the rest are public facilities. The hotel’s location is about 10-15 minutes away from the station. In a street full of restaurants, the convenience store is far away, but the izakaya next to it is very characteristic. There are more locals, the owner is very enthusiastic, and a large conch is also presented. . The owner of the hotel is very nice and enthusiastic, and patiently help us guide the way. It may be that we are used to living in an environment with a separate bathroom, but feel that the private space is too small and inconvenient. There is nothing in the room except the quilt. We are not used to it and can only go out and stroll around. If you don’t mind these, language communication is barrier-free, and those willing to interact with locals, you can choose here.
You can experience the Japanese lifestyle.
The room was not very big, but enough for two beds.
When we lived, we encountered rainy days, we didn't need to turn on the air conditioner at night, and we slept at dawn, which was quite comfortable.
If you want to experience it, consider it.
This was my first time staying at a completely renovated old house, but it was clean and spacious, and I was able to relax very comfortably.
The location was also good, as it was only a 10-minute walk to Kanazawa's downtown area.
The staff were also very polite.
I was very satisfied with a hotel I recently stayed at. The room was spacious and comfortable, modern and relaxing. The service staff was warm and friendly and always helped, making me feel welcome. The hotel's restaurant has a rich breakfast selection and fresh and delicious food, adding a lot of vitality to the beginning of the day. The location is convenient and there are many attractions around to explore. Overall, this stay was very pleasant and will consider coming again in the future!

GGuest UserI only left this place this morning, but I already want to go back. It felt like a home, the host/owner and his wife are super lovely, greeted me every time I came back or said goodbye to me whenever I left. It felt like I was coming home at the end of the day. You get a tea on arrival and I opted for the bento box breakfast for my first morning. I came down at 10 and it was there waiting for me, they play nice Japanese music while your waiting downstairs, although the hosts weren’t fluent in English we could communicate just fine, there English was good enough, although I did try to speak Japanese, the room was so nice and big, I love a tatami room it’s so cosy, I liked snuggling up in the bed at night and watching my tablet, the bathrooms where nice and I just loved the ryokan feel. If I ever find myself in kanazawa again which I willl, I will most definitely stay here again! If you don’t book here your not doing kanazawa right.
看看山看水看雲Very convenient location. Walk about 10' from the east exit of the Kanazawa station. Easy to find. The stairs are steep and the owner helped me to carry my luggage to the 1/F, where my bed was. When I was back at night, he showed me around and gave me the necessary details in person. Even asked me to take my shower earlier because the hostel that night was fully booked by marathon runners who were joining the race today (Oct 29). He helped me to clear my problems about the special traffic arrangements on the marathon day as well. What a helpful and friendly host!
The hostel is clean as well. Towels will be charged if needed.
CCHIU HANA little far from the station, 2km30min can be walked, is a Japanese-style old house, very tasteful, bathroom toilet only one, room available space is small, there are tableware kitchen utensils can be used, there is a microwave oven and oven water cooker, but also encountered three kind Taiwanese editors.

カカレーのおじいさまI am a resident of the prefecture.
I used it after the drinking party.
Good location in front of Nomachi station.
The rooms are air-conditioned, but the shared spaces such as showers and toilets are not air-conditioned, so you will be sweaty when you check in or check out.
The price is cheap and I am satisfied overall ♪
Next time I will prepare well and want to stay.
GGuest UserThe room layout is great for family trips; you can buy food, eat, and enjoy yourself there. It's super close to Kanazawa Station, and Omicho Market is right next door. Choosing to stay here was wonderful.
