A very warm welcome from Mike who manages the establishment. Our room was called Treasure of the Broads. It was beautifully decorated, a huge modern bathroom with rain shower over the top of it. We had a meal in the evening and although we hadn’t booked prior to arrival and they were fully booked Mike had no issue with finding us a table with a great view of the Broads. We would definitely return again in the future. The atmosphere of the pub is relaxed but very professional. Credit to the Chef. A wedding was taking place on the day we arrived but this didn’t cause us any noise related issues and we enjoyed watching from afar! All staff and Mike couldn’t do enough for us and we were offered a late departure which we kindly accepted. A shame we couldn’t have stayed longer but a good excuse to return! Booked for one night to go to the football at Carrie road which is about 15min walk from hotel town centre is about 20min walk, it is easy to get to from the station just a short walk, arrived and some other guests let me in at first as the manager was not there, he arrived a few minutes later and quickly booked quests in, very easy process he showed me were I was staying as staying the other side of hotel, told me if I had any problems to ring the number on the paper stuck to the back of the door, and if I wanted to use the WiFi the code was also there. Room was small but had a shower toilet and sink as well as a hairdryer and clothes rack. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Overall place was clean and tidy I stayed in the top part at the front it was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful hotel surrounded by farmland, extremely peaceful at night and we slept soundly in the large, comfortable bed. We only stayed one night during a road trip but would definitely return for longer, this hotel is perfect for a quiet weekend away. We ate at Rocky Bottoms on the coast in the evening but next time would try the hotel restaurant because the menu looked great, and the breakfast was excellent (loved the homemade marmalade). The staff were very warm & hospitable, we felt very welcome. The room was clean, cosy, and tastefully decorated in keeping with the period architecture. Superb value for money, we highly recommend a visit to The Saracen's Head.

Stayed here ,at Mount Lavinia for two nights.Easy, close parking. The room was just right- plenty of room, v.comfy bed , right amount of lights, sockets, T.v, two large comfortable arm chairs, tea, coffee, hairdryers, plenty of storage space- could even hide suitcases away! Nice clean bathroom, enough space,ledges , hooks etc. to settle things in! Breakfast downstairs, comfortable, plenty of choice - yoghurt, a few cereals, fresh fruit ,a choice of pastries, crumpet, buns, bread. And a lovely young girl Maya who was there to help, advise, chat. A very enjoyable stay, thankyou.

Very close to the train station, 2 minutes away, very convenient; Put down your luggage, you can walk along the river, go to the Riverside, go on the left hand side of the door, walk while watching,... you can go to Football, then walk back along the road, different scenery, there are many interesting restaurants in the middle, many people dine and play... and then go to the train station ...

This is the best B&B we have ever stayed! Everything is just perfect! To mention a few: the hospitality of the hosts, cleanliness and decoration of the whole house, excellent breakfast. The environment is relaxing and quiet yet within a few minutes drive we can find some local pubs for a nice dinner. We have an amazing experience and would love to recommend this to everyone! We will definitely go back again.

The hotel is in an excellent location, we were greeted by the friendly staff and shown to our very comfortable room , nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We booked an evening meal which was really excellent, enjoyed a great nights sleep and then had a really good breakfast  Thank you all at the Buckinghamshire hotel for making our stay really enjoyable

The summer room is a small cosy unit attached to the main house with a separate entrance. It's about 30 minutes's walk to the city centre. We preferred not to walk the quiet streets after dinner to get back to the flat. There are a lot of parking options and it's a flat rate of 3 to 4 quids after 5 pm to the next day.

Location was great. 2 to 3 minutes walk towards the seafront ,hotel itself could do with a bit of an upgrade. An average full English breakfast the dining room can be put as one table for two guests the set up there is 4 guest at a table so it can be awkward

our room plus Ensuite was clean and quite adequate for our stay with parking and close to the beach. We found the owners very friendly and the breakfast will set you up for the day. i would recommend this b.n.b
