Overall, I am quite satisfied with the service. The young man received us throughout the whole process with a good attitude and awareness. The family saw us and upgraded our room for free. It is worth praising. The style is quite unique. The serviced apar**ent is modern and simple. The security is very high. You need to swipe your card. 24-hour security. The location is excellent. There are shopping malls behind the Jinji Lake Scenic Area. The transportation is very convenient. The hygiene is also very clean. The bed is very comfortable. I will bring my family to play and stay here next time.

Our experience at this hotel could not have been better—it was truly beyond our expectations. The location is perfect, nestled in a historic house with sophisticated decor that exudes charm and elegance. The staff went above and beyond to please us, attending to every detail with care. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a delicious afternoon tea, featuring a homemade tiramisu that was absolutely delightful. The staff is well-prepared to receive foreign guests; Miss Yang, in particular, speaks excellent English and is very kind. Overall, we strongly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and exceptional stay in Zhouzhuang.
Suzhou 56 B&B (Taihu Xishan Yifeng Branch)

Really beautiful place. It looks to be brand new - maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but it certainly looks new. The room (a suite) was very spacious, very clean. Just a very beautiful place that fit well with the surroundings. The whole building was impeccably clean. I rated the service 5/5 because the owners were very nice, and largely left us alone. The family was processing tea and were quite busy - check-in was extremely quick, check-out too. I'm not looking for hospitality, so being left alone suited us fine - this isn't a criticism at all! The rooms don't really come with much extra (tea, coffee etc.), just a couple of bottles of water, so best to know that before you book if you usually expect this, but we didn't so we were fine with it. You can buy really good tea from them (maybe we timed it well as we arrived at the peak tea-picking time). The owners were very kind and let us try some, and it's really good tea - we ended up buying some. Food was pretty good, but again they were quite busy and have specific times that food is available, and no menu, so best to check ahead with them (again, really taking into account that they were super busy processing tea when we were there). Absolutely not a problem as there are so many great restaurants around too. TV in the room had VOD but without VIP, so if you're looking to watch movies or anything best to bring your own (including HDMI cable as our TV didn't have one). Location excellent. Space for maybe 4 cars to park, right next to a small hill, very close to the pick-up point for the sightseeing bus to take you up to Xishan, and surrounded by lots of restaurants, B+Bs etc. so if you like coffee, there's a shop just down the road. Very beautiful surroundings - you will be shocked that you're so close to Suzhou as there's absolutely no evidence that you're anywhere near a city! All in all, really enjoyable. Amazing price for a suite (around Y500 per night) and one of the better homestay-style places we've stayed in. Highly recommended.
Duxinshe Homestay (Pingjiang Road Shop)

Guanqian Street/Pingjiang Street/Downtown
This is such a lovely little homestay! We struggled to find the entrance since Tencent Maps sent us a street over, but after adding them on WeChat they sent us a pin right away and helped us make it (see photo!). The room was clean, well-air-conditioned, well thought out, and we had so much fun with the Japanese toilet! My chinese is limited to basic conversation only but staff were friendly and the lady at the desk on the day we checked out showed us her newborn kittens! Super super happy all round with this stay! Note to other guests: - Taxis will have to drop you a few streets away as much of the old town's streets are too narrow for cars. - The entrance is right on the canal, not round a corner. - The door is open at all times, so don't worry if you're back late!

Guanqian Street/Pingjiang Street/Downtown
Facilities: Complete facilities, Danxiang C has a bathtub and a stargazing window, and there is a small courtyard where you can sit and drink tea, which is very nice. There is a projector on the second floor where you can watch movies and TV. Even in summer, you don’t have to worry about mosquitoes, as there are electric mosquito repellent liquid and electric mosquito swatters in the room. Environment: Just a little bit next to Guanqian Street, I found it quickly according to the instructions issued by the merchant. There is a subway next to it, and it is very convenient to take a taxi, not to mention that it is very convenient to eat and shop. Although it is near Guanqian Street, it is quiet in the bustling city, and the hotel is very quiet. It is very close to attractions such as Humble Administrator's Garden and Pingjiang Road, and you can walk there. Hygiene: The hygiene is great, and disposable items are provided attentively, which makes people feel at ease. Service: The merchant has a good service attitude and contacted me in advance to send me guides, etc. Overall, I highly recommend this homestay!

Outside Zhouzhuang Ancient Town
Meet Mulan, and feel warm in Zhouzhuang Mulan Wanqing Ancient Garden Hotel is an unexpected surprise during the trip to Zhouzhuang. The exterior is a typical Jiangnan architectural style, antique and fragrant; the interior decoration is exquisite and attentive, showing quality everywhere. The room layout is reasonable, the lighting is excellent, the facilities are complete, and the living experience is very comfortable. The hotel's garden is like a small Jiangnan garden. Strolling through it, you will see a beautiful view at every step. The service team is enthusiastic and professional. From the moment you enter the door, you will feel the warmth of home. Here, you can enjoy a quiet time alone and explore the beautiful scenery of Zhouzhuang conveniently. I sincerely recommend it to every traveler who comes to Zhouzhuang.
Suzhou Little Courtyard Inn

Guanqian Street/Pingjiang Street/Downtown
had such a fantastic time at this hotel! It's conveniently located just a short 10-minute stroll from the metro station, and there are tons of cool spots nearby like The North Pagoda, Suzhou Museum, Humble Administrator's Garden, and the Suzhou Silk Museum, all within a quick 10-15 minute walk. It feels like staying in a cozy guest house nestled within a family complex. The owner, a lovely lady, is super friendly and helpful. While the room has that charming old-school vibe, it's spotlessly clean and has everything you need, even a hairdryer. It totally reminds me of my grandma's place back in the day! Plus, there's a cute little mini library with some fascinating collectibles and a cozy tea house - perfect for some Insta-worthy snaps! Oh, and watch out for the three adorable cats who love to wander around and sometimes even pop into your room for a visit! You won't go hungry here either! Right next door, there's a fabulous café, and across the street, you've got a whole lineup of local food joints. And let me tell you, don't miss out on the crab noodle spot near the traffic light - it's absolutely divine! And if you're craving some fresh fruit, just head over to the fruit stand near the small bridge. They're open late - I swung by around 11 pm and they were still going strong! Just a friendly reminder: This hotel does have its Chinese name displayed at the entrance, no English. So, make sure to remember or write down that street number to find it easily next time! And you can bet your bottom dollar that if I find myself back in Suzhou, I'll be booking a room here again without a second thought!

Guyunfeng Hotel

In Zhouzhuang Ancient Town
My stay at Guyunfeng Hotel was a peaceful and memorable experience, made even better by the owners, who were truly amazing. They were warm, friendly, and went out of their way to help me feel comfortable. From the moment I arrived, their kindness stood out, it’s clear they genuinely care about their guests Although I didn’t receive tea along with the snacks that some other reviews mentioned, I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of the snacks I did get. Small touches like this made my stay feel personal and welcoming What I loved most about my time here was simply staying in my room and people-watching from the window. The view was a quiet kind of magic like watching daily life unfold in Zhouzhuang’s water town felt like stepping into another world. The town moves at its own pace, different from anything I’m used to, and it reminded me how refreshing it can be to slow down and truly observe If you’re looking for a place with a cozy atmosphere, wonderful hosts, and the chance to soak in the charm of Zhouzhuang, Guyunfeng Hotel is a great choice. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a small retreat where you can reconnect with the beauty of simple moments P.S. you will have to pay a ticket for 100RMB and good for 3 days. If you stay more than 3 days, you will have to pay ticket for every 3 days or so. You can buy a ticket from vending machines and have your face scanned at the security checkpoints, or buy it manually, take picture on ticket with date then show it to security guards.
Floral Lux Hotel·Suzhou Moke Garden Garden Culture Hotel
4.9/5347 Reviews
Guanqian Street/Pingjiang Street/Downtown
This is an unimaginable hotel stay experience. I am fortunate to be in a garden full of historical heritage and feel its unique charm. This garden is not only a place to provide accommodation, but also a passionate interpretation of Suzhou garden culture. The owner of the garden is not just running a hotel, but also carefully conveying and promoting the profound culture of Suzhou gardens. The entire garden layout is exquisite, with three roads and five entrances, which makes people feel as if they have traveled through time and space and returned to the era when literati and poets led the way. The 2,000-square-meter ancient house, after years of unremitting repairs and reconstruction by the owner, finally reproduced the historical style of the old house. Every detail reveals the precipitation of years and the charm of culture. The hotel also thoughtfully provides free tour guide services to lead guests to deeply understand the layout of the garden and the story behind it. Under the explanation of the tour guide, you can deeply feel the care and enthusiasm of the owner of the garden, and admire his love and inheritance of Suzhou garden culture even more. In terms of service, from the moment you step into the hotel, you can feel the meticulous care and enthusiasm of the employees. Even if you park your car in the parking lot outside the historical district, the hotel has thoughtfully arranged staff to pick you up, so that guests don't have to worry about parking inconveniences. The Pingtan performance provided by the hotel adds a bit of cultural charm to this stay. The little girl is good at playing and singing, and every note she plays seems to be telling the tenderness and elegance of the Jiangnan water town, making people feel like they are in a world full of poetry and painting. The most touching thing is that the hotel also thoughtfully sent a bouquet of roses when leaving the hotel. This is not only a gift, but also a heart, a respect and care for the guests. This thoughtful move undoubtedly put a perfect end to this stay.
