We really enjoyed our stay at Wanhe River View Inn! Even before checking in, we received plenty of information via WeChat on how to get there and about places to see and where to eat nearby. Location is super convenient, only a five minute walk to Shantang Street and a 10 minute bike ride towards Humble Administrator’s Garden/ Pingjiang Road. The room was so beautiful and clean and we absolutely loved the sitting area at the window! We didn’t book the room for the TV experience but loved the feature so much after all! Special Thanks to the nice guy at the reception who was so helpful every time we encountered him! From the warm welcome to bringing our luggage to the car when we left, customer service was outstanding!

The location is just opposite the 先鋒書店, very convenient. The staff were awesome, they are very polite and helpful. Room is spacious and clean, just nice for two people.

Honestly, we booked the hotel for the cat! The room was spacious and enough for us 2 girls with our 2 huge luggage. It was also clean and comfortable. The host was also very nice and helpful throughout our stay. Things that could be improved are probably the hanger/hooks in the bathroom as we were having a hard time putting our towel and clothes while using the bathroom, and also Latin sign/English sign for hotel name on the building as we were so confused trying to find the hotel at the first time.

I booked it in advance when I went to Nanjing, and finally chose this one. The location is easy to find, the sanitary environment is quite clean, it really fits the saying, small but complete😝 (If a girl takes a shower or washes her hair, she needs to pay attention to the time, because it is an electric water heater, and the water will get cold if you add water in the water heater in the middle of the shower if you take too long). The boss is also very nice and recommended nearby food to me. It is very close to Xinjiekou. I walked around the area after dinner and was very happy. I will make a reservation next time I come,😄

One advantage here is that each room in Yamato has a different design, which is perfect for girls who like to clock in. The location is strategic, being not too far from Suzhou train station and close to a public bus station, making it convenient for travel. Room has an ageing look with dusts, bathroom is a bit mouldy. We came during winter and the room was like a chiller and took some time to warm up. The owner arranged his staff to pick us up on foot from a meeting point outside the ancient town as cars aren’t able to enter. However, his staff didn’t lead us back to the same pick up point even if had requested for help. We lost our way and thankfully my car driver was able to locate us. We booked a room for 4 but amenities were arranged for 2 only. We have to request for extra from bathroom items to pillows. Will consider other modern guests houses at the edge of the water village for the same price.

A very cosy and comfortable one night stay at this place inside of Zhou Zhuang, an ancient town/place of attraction. Literally, the most enjoyable stay during my trip to Suzhou and Shanghai. From interior design to decoration, amenities and facilities as well as the owner, one word to describe our stay- fantastic! The owner was very helpful and easy going. She helped us find a good and humourous driver to Shanghai at a reasonable price. And resolved my problem with the WeChat payment issue. Come and stay at this place when you plan a visit to Zhou Zhuang.

We rented two rooms for two couples. Amazing experience! Wonderful homestay. Very clean really helpful owner and staff. Constantly paying attention to our very need. Location is great. Right in the heart of Zhouzhuang. If you are a foreigner and want a genuine experience this is the place for you. Will return if need a relaxing break from the city.
