Very nice resort with spacious compound, and very convenient. We took a boat from the resort to Hallstatt, 10 euro per person. From Hallstatt, there is a public bus taking us right to the bus stop in front of the resort. However, I was quite disappointed with the wrong information in trip.com regarding the rooms. Intially I wanted to book a chalet with 2 rooms as we are a group of 2 couples. When i made the booking, trip.com website stated that 1 room can fit in max 2 persons. So naturally i had to book 2 rooms. When i arrived that the resort i was shocked to find out that I was misled to pay for 2 chalets with 4 rooms! We didn't use the other chalet of course. It was totally unfair that because of the wrong information in trip.com, we have to pay for 2 other rooms that we didn't need at all. I am asking for compensation from trip.com regarding my loss and it's been 4 days and i am still waiting to hear from them for a solution.

I booked an apartment for five people (this apartment can fit up to 12 people) for 2 nights. I then received an email that the number of guests is one. That was weird because the minimum number of guests for the apartment is five as you can see in the attached photo. Upon arrival after hours at around 6 PM, there was no one at the check-in desk. Our key was placed at the check-in desk and our last name was written next to the room number. That room had two twin beds stuck to each other. It was tiny and very different than the apartment that I booked online using ***********. I tried calling the number that they had and when I did I heard a vibration of a cell phone at the check-in desk. I tried contacting *********** and they recommended I speak to the property directly and when I stated that I couldn't get a hold of them they asked me to email *********** and that they would get a response to me in 24 hours. Eventually they did respond saying that the property has been contacted but they did not hear anything back from them, so basically *********** was useless. In the meantime, I had to go next-door to ask for help. The lady next-door called one of the housekeeping ladies who then came down and tried helping us. She then called the man who came and gave us the apartment. That man did not even smile or apologize to us. The apartment was decent, and spacious, however the beds were too soft. It had a nice terrace. There were two bathrooms in the apartments one was a good size and the other was tiny. There is no air conditioner, as many other hotels in Europe. There is no elevator the stairs leading up to the apartments are pretty steep. The breakfast was decent. Parking is offsite and there's about a five minute walk. The town is small but pretty. Overall the stay was pleasant, however the check in experience and the incorrect room and no one at the check-in desk was very unpleasant. At check out, there was another lady who seems to be more involved and had a smile on her face and apologized for the experience we had.

I stayed 5 nights here and everything was wonderful, everything is close by car, you have a supermarket 400mt away and little else... The room was clean and they cleaned it every day. Perfect and fast wifi, free parking in front of the hotel. All very well at a very good price.

Die Zimmer sind modern, sehr sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Besonders gefallen haben mir die komfortablen Betten, die dafür gesorgt haben, dass ich erfrischt und ausgeruht aufwachte. Das Badezimmer war großzügig und bestens ausgestattet. Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, immer mit einem Lächeln und bereit, alle Fragen zu beantworten. Der Service war auf einem hohen Niveau, und man merkt, dass die Mitarbeiter viel Wert auf die Zufriedenheit der Gäste legen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend – eine breite Auswahl an frischen und leckeren Speisen, die für jeden Geschmack etwas zu bieten hatten. Es war der perfekte Start in den Tag. Die entspannende Atmosphäre und die schöne Umgebung machen das Parkhotel Braunau zu einem idealen Ort für Geschäftsreisen oder einen erholsamen Aufenthalt. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen und kann das Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen!

I chose the lake view on the second floor, and there is also a bubble pool. Breakfast is 20 euros per person. It's okay, or you can buy your own vegetables and come back to cook! The scenery is really invincible! The stay was very clean and comfortable! The town is not big. If you rent a car, you can go to the other side or walk around. Super enjoyment! It will be a little bit colder in early April, and it would be better if it comes to warmer later.
