Travelling with a party of four so this was one of the places that offered bigger rooms for 4. Nicely located above a large shopping mall so food options were a plenty. Cleanliness was generally good but there was a smoke smell emitting from the aircon and some of the lights were too dim/not working. The name on Trip.com is different from that found on the sign outside unit 2410 (the check in address) so was confused momentarily. The staff lady was very helpful and polite. For the price, given its location and quality, I think it’s worth a stay.

First off, the location is truly excellent, a unique advantage. There's a hot spring hotel right next door where you can enjoy a soak. However, the overall management and service facilities are severely lacking! Let's start with the hygiene: urine stains on the toilet seat, hair everywhere you look, and debris falling from the ceiling when you turn on the 'starry sky' light – I honestly don't know what to say. Then there's the service; it feels like there's barely any service at all. For example, regarding the hot spring tickets included in the package, shouldn't you remind guests beforehand to bring their own swimsuits? (Mine cost over 300 yuan!) And for the volcano tickets, shouldn't you confirm guest information and redeem them in advance? (When I was ready to leave and went to the front desk for the tickets, they told me to buy them on the spot, then I had to provide my ID again and go to another ticket office to exchange them. This whole process took a good half hour!) I can accept your high prices, but at the very least, your service and hygiene should match. I hope you see this review and make improvements. Don't disappoint customers who've traveled so far to get here!

This guesthouse is huge, you won't have to worry about food or drinks, and the restaurant's food is absolutely amazing! The evening atmosphere is incredible. We went on a Thursday and were surprised to find a bonfire party with fireworks and molten iron sparks flying (da tie hua) – it was such a delightful surprise, and the kids absolutely loved it! 🔥🎆 The owner is incredibly welcoming and friendly, service is top-notch. They even proactively helped us with our luggage. The whole experience was fantastic. A must-stay if you're visiting the volcano!

There are many B&Bs around the volcano. I thought this one has three stores and is relatively large, so I decided to stay at this one. We were upgraded to a starry sky room. The room was very big, with two double beds, and it was cleaned very well. The bedding and towels should all be washed together, very new and clean ~ But the horse-riding sculpture outside the window looks a bit scary 😅 It was still very cold during the May Day holiday. I turned on the air conditioner and covered myself with a quilt at night. The quilt was quite thick. The bathroom is still quite cold. But there is nothing we can do about it. At night, I caught someone setting off firecrackers after 10 o'clock. It was right next to the house. It was very noisy. There should be regulations on the area and time for setting off firecrackers. It is not very friendly to the baby's sleep. I hope it will be improved~

I searched countless hotels for a yurt, but they all said the conditions were subpar until I found this one. The bed was the first thing that caught my eye; it was unique. The reviews were also great, but the main attraction was the large grassland, so I decided on it. It was past 11 PM on check-in day, and the owner was still waiting for us. Let me share some reviews of each aspect. First, the location: It's very close to the Volcano Scenic Area. People say the Volcano South Visitor Center is crowded and causes traffic jams, but I asked the owner, and he said there's an intersection very close to the hotel where you can enter. You can just buy a ticket later, saving you a long, crowded journey. Rooms: We booked a yurt, and there are also cabins. Our yurt was quite large, with a clean floor that made you want to walk barefoot. The bathroom was simple but clean (though the door was a bit low). Service: The owner was very kind. My child had diarrhea on arrival, and the next day he was very considerate and asked about his condition. Finally, a word about the beautiful scenery: The grasslands behind the mountain are so stunning! We spent half a day taking photos there, and I almost forgot to go to Huanghuagou. Hahaha. It was a very satisfying stay and I've already recommended it to friends and family. (P.S.: There was a bonfire party that evening, but we arrived too late and didn't attend.)

The volcano homestay in Ulanqab is really a treasure trove! The biggest surprise of this stay was the authentic roasted lamb leg. The skin is baked golden and crispy, and the meat inside is tender and juicy. Every bite is the ultimate temptation for the taste buds. The environment of the B&B is also great. There are spectacular volcanoes outside the window, and you can look up at the starry sky at night. It is extremely romantic. The service is also very considerate. The boss is warm and thoughtful. He helps with luggage when you arrive, making you feel at home. He will also call you before check-in to introduce travel tips. All in all, I was very satisfied with this experience. I would like to come here again on my next trip to enjoy the double feast of food and beautiful scenery!

I was initially in a dilemma about whether to stay here or not, but looking back, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my trip! After carefully planning the journey, getting there was actually quite straightforward. For those coming from Hohhot, here's the route I took: 1. Take a train from Hohhot to Dalate West Station. 2. Take a Didi from Dalate West Station to Huailian Tourism Resort Reception Center (about 40 minutes, around CNY50). 3. Purchase rm176 of the Whistling Dune Bay package ticket, which includes admission, cable car, Yuesha Island access, and a camel ride. 4. Resort guests have access to a special lane for the cable car, which takes about 8 minutes. 5. Upon arrival, take the resort jeep transfer to the accommodation area. 6. Enjoy activities such as sand sliding, swimming in the pool, stargazing, and simply experiencing the peaceful desert atmosphere at night. 7. After checkout, take the jeep transfer to the mini desert train, followed by the duck car ride, before returning via cable car. 8. It can be difficult to get a Didi from the resort reception area, but the staff kindly helped arrange a taxi back to Dalate West Station for around CNY50. 9. Continue the journey from Dalate West Station to Ordos. What impressed me most was the hospitality. From the WeChat communication before arrival to the reception team and resort staff, everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The night experience was truly spectacular. The desert becomes so peaceful after sunset — all you can hear is the sound of the sand, while above you is a sky filled with countless stars and a beautiful moon. It was one of the most memorable moments of my trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique desert stay and unforgettable experience!

My brother and I took my parents to the volcano to play. We saw the decoration style of this homestay at a glance. We lived in three rooms. My brother lived in the viewing room on the second floor. I lived in the big bed room on the first floor. It is not convenient for parents to go upstairs when they are older. They live in the yurt twin bed in the small courtyard. This bed is really big enough, the roof is also very high, relatively clean, very good to live.

I have always been unwilling to live in a homestay when I go out. I may be afraid when I travel in Yunnan. This trip to Hulunbuir has several small towns and no chain hotels, but I unexpectedly felt a different kind of warmth. The boss sister is really good, super considerate, and takes care of this homestay very carefully. Clean and hygienic, all disposable items, the small courtyard in the backyard has planted a variety of melons and fruits and vegetables, you can pick them casually, and help us brush the car before leaving, and we will come again if we have a chance.

I brought my family to Xilamuren Grassland this time and we stayed at the Saibei Inn. The inn is right on the grassland, so stepping out, you're greeted by endless plains. The view is incredibly open and the air is fresh. In the mornings and evenings, you can enjoy a cool breeze, which is really refreshing. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding tidy, and all the basic amenities were provided, making for a comfortable stay. Both the owner and staff were very warm and genuine, always willing to help when needed. It's also very convenient for sightseeing around; horseback riding and other grassland activities are all nearby. You can even enjoy the grassland nightscape in the evening. We had a great experience with both the food and accommodation here. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the grasslands.
