The hotel is of a high level of comfort - the room, breakfast, everything is great, worth the money! There are some shortcomings that should be corrected - the waiters in the lobby do not know the menu, they mix up the dishes. There is a large area around, they could organize scooter and bicycle rental as an option for leisure for guests. There is not enough transfer at least to the eternal city, to the fountain - you have to call a taxi every time.
It's very clean and even Japanese people won't be dissatisfied. It's a little far from the center, but it's a 20-minute taxi ride and costs about 400 yen, so it's within the acceptable range.
When I made the reservation, I was told that the tourist tax could only be paid in cash, but I was able to use a card.
Location:
It's a 20-minute taxi ride from the center and costs about 400 yen. There are no stores nearby, so if there's anything you want, buy it at the airport or in the center.
Room:
There was dust under the chairs, but overall it was quite clean.
Wi-Fi could be used if you authenticated with your email address, and video playback was possible without any problems.
Free water was provided.
Shower:
Hot water came out, but the water pressure was low.
Towels, shampoo, and hair dryer provided.
Toilet:
Toilet paper provided.
There was a washlet, but the rear end was broken and only the bidet could be used.
Other:
There was an ATM on the first floor, but it wasn't refilled with cash and couldn't be used.
We are so happy and satisfied with this hotel until the day we checked out. We were accused of taking the laundry bag which is worth 300k Uzbek SUM. I went up with 2 staff and it turned out it was in the drawer all the time (the funny thing is I never even touched it.) I don’t blame these 2 staff as I know it is their responsibility to make sure nothing was missing/stolen (though next time it would be appreciated if they can check it more thoroughly.)
What truly pissed me off is the attitude from another female staff at the reception named Zarifa. From the moment we checked out, she just looked grumpy and when my friend said “we never used it”, she reacted with “I am sure you did” in a very rude way! Even later on, it turned out to be in the drawer in the room, she was not even apologetic (the other 2 staff at least said “sorry for the mistake.”
This is one of the 2 five star hotels in Samarkand and I just hope what we paid at this hotel is equivalent to the amount of respect you show to your customers. The hotel really NEEDS to put more training in your staff’s service.
By the way, we had a really nice chat with another staff named “Firdav” at the first floor bar (if I remember his name correctly, he is tall and bit skinny). He had worked in Hilton for 2 years and the professionalism and politeness he demonstrated is just another level. PLEASE LEARN FROM HIM THAT HOW A STAFF AT 5 STAR HOTEL SHOULD BEHAVE AND TREAT THEIR GUESTS!!
Everything was excellent until the black out happened twice in one morning on our last day at the hotel. ID of the toilets need improvement - need the racks to be spaced out for hanging clothes and towels. WiFi can be improved, randomly getting cut out, not so ideal for working. Heated water in the shower was a tad too hot and couldn't make it colder. Mr T. loves the bidets and the multi-functioned toilet bowls. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide range of selection.
Excellent hotel, clean, beautiful. Every little thing for the convenience of guests is thought out: from slippers to hair ties. The staff is attentive and always ready to help. Also downstairs there is a beer restaurant with delicious cocktails and amazing cheese soup, open 24/7. And the cherry on the cake is a magnificent view of the highway from the room!
Beautiful lobby area, great location, lovely selection at breakfast, little disappointed with the actual room, it didn’t reflect the exterior or public areas, but it was manageable. Over satisfied with our two nights stay.
The bad communication of the hotel with the service ...1 First on arrival forced to pay some tax ... although taxes are included in the price ... 2 Secondly stated that the number at all was not paid ... and had to find out with a trip com where the prepaid money was gone
The room is clean and sanitary, the waiter is very friendly, the restaurant has a lot of dishes, as a Chinese I am not used to the food, it is also very convenient to be across the scenic spot,
The location is a bit remote, the environment is not bad, but the service staff is not very helpful and seems absent-minded. The room is still very clean and tidy overall, but I think this should not be the best accommodation choice in Samarkand.

CCharlotte Wing YuAfter a few rough nights at a Soviet hotel, words can’t describe how happy I was to see this hotel. The male receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived as he let me check in a bit earlier after a train ride. The breakfast fulfilled my needs as they have fresh fruits, vegetables, yoghurt, eggs, coffee… no complaint. The guy working at the breakfast area was also very helpful. After I finished gym, I went up there. He immediately asked me if I needed water. It shows that he’s attentive. I felt happy staying there. The reason I booked it was the gym. As an active person, I need to work out on my travels. The gym is not fully equipped but it provides with the basics such as a treadmill, a bike and weights. Location wise, it’s not in the center of the tourist spot but it’s walking distance. It took me 15 min to get to Registan. Don’t worry though as Samarkand is pedestrian friendly.

GGuest UserA very Central Asian hotel. I think their breakfast is the best I have ever had during my travels, and the staff is also very polite. The lady at the front desk is also very beautiful. The location is also very good. Whether it is walking to the local bazaar or attractions, it basically only takes about ten minutes. There are also Indian restaurants and other local restaurants nearby for dining. very convenient
