It's a nice beach hotel, having a good restaurant and the staff is very friendly. To be recommended except regarding their laundry service because they are not offering to clean separate individual items of clothing as is usually offered in most hotels. A fully loaded washing machine would be charged even if you only need to wash a single item.

Es un hotel nuevo, cuidado y con todos los detalles. Se nota el gusto con el que se ha diseñado y el servicio cuida mucho que sus huéspedes estén contentos y tengan lo que necesitan. Viajamos en familia y la villa estaba perfectamente preparada con 2 habitaciones, 2 baños y mucho espacio. Todas estaban alrededor de 2 piscinas, en un palmeral y perfecto para descansar. Tiene un pequeño gimnasio con lo suficiente para practicar deporte y los masajes son totalmente recomendables. Yo fui 2 veces y las chicas que lo dan consiguen que te relajes al 100%. El único punto negativo es que no está a pie de playa pero en 5 minutos andando puedes llegar a la playa y para nosotros eso no era un problema. Si quieres, tienen un transporte que te lleva cuando necesitas a sus 2 hoteles ”hermanos” a pie de playa y donde puedes utilizar sus instalaciones...Los hoteles están a menos de 5 minutos en transporte...y también se puede ir andando Nosotros estuvimos muy contentos y repetiríamos la experiencia.

The idea itself is good, but the management is not organized. The reception and cafe are terribly outdated. The pool needs to be updated. The situation in the room is better, but there are stains on the walls, furniture damaged by floods and curtains that do not close (they need to be rolled up and wrapped with tape in the middle.

Хороший спокойный отель. Небольшой, так что посетителей немного. Очень вкусная кухня. Завтраки по большей части из яиц, однако комбинаций гарнира достаточно чтобы разнообразить дни. Вкусные коктейли. Подходит для тех кто хочет спокойствия и уединения после нунгви. Немного необычный вид номера. Возможно это лофт. Всё выполнено из бетона, даже тумба для раковины. Монументально и необычно. Раньше с таким не встречался. Из минусов только расположение номера. Наш балкон выходил на кухню ресторана, так что был чисто номинальным.

We arrived at this hotel after safari for 7 days of rest. Oh my God! What a paradise place! Delicious food, clean swimming pool, clean rooms, friendly staff, diverse food every day, evening shows, fairy snorkeling, clean beach, safety, calm, privacy. In the morning, the tide is already at 14:00 a.m. Organize all the nibbles for those living in luxury. Thank you for doing your job. Thank you for the best rest!

MMishideyu197013Pros: The hotel is in a good location, the sunset is beautiful, the plants are beautiful, like a big garden. The soaj is very comfortable, facing the sea. Cons: The room facilities are a bit old, the service is average, the mini bar and sunset wine in the room are charged items, the signs are not clear, we thought they were free items, and the cost of calling a taxi for the guests is very high. Overall evaluation: The hotel is average, not worth the price of more than 3,000, and the cost performance is not high.

The location of the hotel was perfect – close to the iconic Paje Beach, with convenient access via buggy, so I could enjoy the beauty of the area while still retreating to the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the hotel. The boho vibes of Samawa Living were stunning, with every detail thoughtfully designed to create a cosy and serene environment. From the delicious meals to the immaculate rooms and tranquil ambience, everything about Samawa Living exceeded my expectations. I can’t wait to return! GGuest UserThis is my second trip to Marea (previously under another name but with the same owners). I only want to talk about how much I like it if you all promise not to book in for the same weeks that I visit again. It’s quiet, which I love, but within walking distance of busier Paje. The rooms are clean, well-sized, have aircon, fans and cute balconies. Some of the rooms have just been redesigned, and I know there are more upgrades in the works. It has a wonderful Neapolitan restaurant, which is helpful because you don’t ever feel like you *need* to hunt for other food. It has a perfectly sized pool which never feels crowded, and not being in the centre of the resort, doesn’t come with lots of eyes gazing in your direction. Most of all, the staff are fantastic. They always have a smile and a kind word. Service is good and easy. It’s a great find for those looking for a boutique family run resort that also doesn’t break the bank.

AAbdullahi JamiluIt’s my first time in Zanzibar, I spent two nights at this hotel and a night in another hotel, all I can say is that this hotel is wonderful, rooms are clean, food is nice and above all the staffs are lovely, very friendly and helpful, I’ve been to many hotels in different countries but I can give a high thumb for the staffs of Toa hotel, The General Manager, Lucas that received me upon arrival and the best of all The Front Desk Manager ESTHER, thanks a lot for the hibiscus Juice the day I arrived and the last cup you gave me before I leave, you never knew but it’s my best and I’ll come back for it again in sha Allah. You gave me free wine lucky I don’t drink alcohol I had to return it back to you, thank you so much and I’ll recommend thousands to use your hotel if I have to and I’m sure you’ll never let them down. OOkuhleAbsolutely loved our stay at Kwanza, my mom and I had the best time. We were greeted by Caroline who always had a smile. Lucky was so jolly and helpful with our bags. Ahamed was always ready to assist with any and everything. The rooms were spacious and clean though there was a day where housekeeping forgot to come and spray the mosquito repellent. We had the best spa day and would highly recommend the full package. The food was exceptional and plentiful, we got the all inclusive package so we had all meals served and would recommend that as the resort is located far from other places. The bar service though needs improving as they were slow because there was only one server per bar but the cocktails were great!! I had forgotten my phone at one of the bathrooms and it was returned to me before I even noticed so the place is very safe.

GGuest UserThis hotel deserves special attention, especially for those who would like to have a premium vacation, but are limited in budget. The villas are luxurious, spacious, all privately located with a garden and private pool. You can't see or hear your neighbors. It reminds me of the Maldives, only there such rooms cost thousands of dollars. The territory is large, well-groomed, very clean, it is pleasant to walk along it, those who take care of it deserve a gold medal. The hotel security in the form of Masai warriors is very unusual, it adds its own twist. Panoramic open-air restaurant. The views are stunning. The beach is clean, private, there is no one except hotel guests, the sand is white and soft. The ocean is clean. The time of the ebb and flow of the tide is convenient. The tides are early in the morning and after lunch, when the sun is no longer aggressive. Perhaps there is not such a variety in the choice of dishes, but it is delicious. Freshly squeezed juices for breakfast. The staff may not be as well trained, but this is reflected in the price. And still, a big thank you to them. I really liked it and highly recommend it.
