DoubleTree by Hilton Sheffield City was exactly what I needed during my business trip. Comfortable, reliable, and quietly kind. From the moment I arrived, the check-in was smooth and welcoming, and that first warm cookie felt like a small but genuine gesture of care after a long journey. The location is convenient, close to the city centre yet peaceful enough to rest. It made moving between meetings and personal time easy, something I truly appreciated. The room was modern, clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the lighting soft, and everything worked perfectly. It was not about luxury, but about thoughtful comfort that helps you recharge. Breakfast offered a good variety and the restaurant had a calm atmosphere that made mornings feel easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help without being intrusive. What stood out the most was the consistency. Every part of the stay felt dependable and well cared for. That sense of steadiness made it easy to relax and focus on the purpose of the trip. When arrived told that we didn’t book even though I had a confirmation email took the receptionist 40 minutes to find a room. Didn’t end up getting the room we booked. The location is good, not far from the train station at all, not too far from restaurant etc.

A business hotel without any facilities except a restaurant. Room is relatively small not even a small freezer. Breakfast is good. However, bad experience with housekeeping. No service for the room only the first day. The maid just changed the towels and did nothing to the room including the toilet. I have to request for daily clean up at the front desk. On the third day, found a large plastic bag with rubbish in my room probably the maid forgot to take out. The bag included other rubbish not from my room.

Great location, husband and father in law stayed the night before a visit to see the Vulcan. The room was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the food was superb (best fish & chips theyve had for a long time). They both had a great time and would definitely recommend.

The room is comfortable and warm, with complete accessories. It is very good among European hotels. The price-performance ratio is very high, and the service is also very enthusiastic. I recommend everyone to come. Good, good, good

Good location and ease of access to M1 no problem. Venue check in was easy and quick no messing about. Room was clean and tidy though the complimentary biscuit for the tea and coffee was missing, no big deal they are nice though ! Bathroom was clean no issues. There was a wedding on the day of travel so a lot of people hanging around especially the entrance to hotel. Bar seating area lounge was small and the drinks draught beers were expensive over £5 pint ! Generally a good stay staff helpful and courtease. Would stay again.

We loved our stay at Radisson Blu. The only downside was the Air Con not working properly, they are really hot rooms and the windows dont open. However, the rooms are so quiet with soundproof rooms, really comfortable and spacious. It was an ideal location near Lyceum Theatre and a lobely square opposite for eating and drinking. We sat at the roof top bar for drinks and staff were polite and helpful. I would love to revisit but the air con was abit of a downside for me.

The service attitude of the hotel is good. It is a bit walking distance from the train station, but not far from the bus station.
