I liked the location, the very good room. It was to improve the warning that the reception is not in the hotel itself, but in the central hotel at 100m.
The location is very close to the Lagoa bus station, which is very convenient for going to Lisbon. It is not far to take a taxi to the Navy Beach. It is very suitable for leisure and vacation. The staff are very enthusiastic
Hotel is in perfect location within the historical site, the room is clean and comfy. Beautiful pool in the middle of the garden. Despite all ups, the downside was the service in general, however the reception was helpful when asked.
Tips:
Avoid staying the same floor as the reception because there is a staff room next to you, and the staff come to chitchat in the room and the hallway (the same hallway as guest doors, clearly echo).
Beware of hot food running out from breakfast way earlier than closing time, you cannot request those eggs, bacons, mushroom if it's runs out. even there are many guests coming in and was no hot food.
Like other comment says the hotel is full of potential and personally we think its a very peaceful & lovely place with historical charm. Just the frontline service staffs around the place still far from that so called well service.
House keeping were friendly and helpful, gardening maintained well.
Enjoyed the place and once learned to didnt expect any service, Its was the best way.
A very good and well located villa, very pretty and pleasant stay, the only drawback I would say was the spa issue, neither the Turkish baths nor the small pool were working, if that had been working it would have been ideal, but equally, everything else was a luxury for us.
The hotel is a beautiful one, no doubt about it, but there are a few things that I wasn't happy with.
It is like most things you need to pay for. Needed to iron my clothes, I was told that I needed to pay for the service due to safety issues. Will get my stuff in 48 hours. If I wanted it earlier, I had to pay more. To get to the beach, I was i formed that I need to pay for a ferry to get me across... all this should have been said before a persons book. The hotel is a secluded, nice area. In order to navigate a taxi is a must unless one wants to walk for 30 minutes in the scrotching sun to catch the train or bus. Uber service is better than the taxi you would get from the airport as it is costly.
The food was good, in terms of variety ilI would say no, but it terms of taste yes great. Kudos to the chef. Staff are very helpful and understanding. Some drinks, however, are watered down. I love pina Colada, but wow, i had no clue what I got there.
Apart from that, I had a lovely stay, entertainment, the rooftop, top superb ( was there every evening).
It takes about 5-10 minutes to drive to the beach and the central area. There is a supermarket nearby. The location is very convenient and quiet. The hotel facilities and services are very complete. I recommend this place.
In addition, the price is very cheap. It is the most comfortable place I have lived in Portugal.
Amazing value! Breakfast was great, and the sweet rice pudding was the best I have ever tasted. Room and bathroom in excellent condition, quiet and comfortable (I am in off season tho). Staff were friendly and helpful, and info is also provided in room. Was not sure at first because it is on the top of a hill so a climb to get to from town, but still only a 10 min walk and 5 mins walk from the cliffs for spectacular sunrises. Also a large free carpark opposite.

nice view nice pool loveit
Very good value for money and friends set an ordinary hotel room but unexpectedly too beautiful. The hotel has apartments and villas of various room types. In the future, I will come back with my parents. All the scenery in the picture is in the hotel. There are three swimming pools. The most beautiful is the one by the sea and there is next to it. The viewing platform overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. There are ladders to go down to the beach. There are many restaurants in the hotel. But the location is a bit biased. But Portugal is convenient to take a taxi. The only bad point is that one day we hung up the sign that needed cleaning, but we came back at night and found that there was no. People came to clean the room. We thought no one would come to clean before we checked out. We didn't take the sign back, but we didn't expect the room service to knock on the door the next day. We were a little embarrassed...
The room is large and quiet but the boxes are old and dirty gardens with locked parts. The balcony is large but dirty and needs a update in the painting. The bathroom is good but with strong smell from the rack. The room is large and it would be good to have a supplement waste because it only has in the bathroom and in the kitchen. The mini kitchen has a good fridge but the boxes and pia are very old, with a strong smell. I missed detergent and bubble in the kitchen. The room level would justify having a Nespresso, it would be very good. The good point are towels of excellent quality in both the room and the pool. The area of the pool is beautiful, well-cared garden and top chairs to sleep. The bar is interesting, but I didn't use it because I found the prices a little cheap.
We have dinner one day at the hotel, I don't recommend it, it's buffet service and the food wasn't good, it was expensive.
My experience was great, open pool, easy to park, in the summer it is worth the money, what I would change is the slightly uncomfortable pillow, average buffet breakfast, lacks a little more variety.
Very Good

Great
LLaurentThis hotel is very recent. Beautiful, elegant and well-equipped in terms of services. What doesn't strike us as normal, however, is the lack of little touches for a hotel in this category. No shampoo, no q-tips, just the same gel for washing hands and in the shower. No shower cap. An empty fridge bar. We appreciate the coffee machine and the bottle of water, but one normal coffee capsule and 3 decaffeinated coffee capsules... not logical...
We asked for a room with a bath when we booked (we were ”upgraded” without any request on our part, on a ”marina” view, but with a shower.
As we are not very nice customers, we didn't say anything.
The bedding is good. The pillows are quite thick, which can be uncomfortable for people with sensitive necks. 3 cushions are available, but they are all very dense.
The road is very noisy, subject to a few car rodeos at night.
I've heard that the rooftop is noisy in November, but fortunately this is not the case.
The staff are friendly and respond to requests.
The breakfast buffet is very comprehensive, but for the evening menu, this type of buffet seems less attractive, but will surely please some people.
The spa is very good, at 12.5 euros for one hour (equipped swimming pool, sauna, hammam, etc.).
There is a car park at the hotel for 6 euros a night, but free parking is available 200m from the hotel by the beach.
All in all, then, this is a fine hotel with a lot of potential, but some details clearly need to be reviewed to make it really nice.
AAngel Del CampoThe hotel is very comfortable and the rooms are very comfortable.
It is well parked at some apples at June dates and the centre pila nearby.
The worst thing: if you are with children is not recommended because stairs are dangerous.
The jacuzzi was broken.
The room was struck with a TV, the shower and the bathroom were broken danced but it could be used.
They don't make room, they don't change towels, they don't pick up the paperboard, I think they change it weekly.
Premiere the aesthetic comfort and we end up uncomfortable with the placement of clothes, baggage and bathroom.
PPoh LamFacilities a little old . Not a nice odour when opened the closet. Air condition not working well and water get easily spill out the bath area into the sanitary area. The tap at the washing basin not well designed too close to the basin and water easily gush out requiring delicate control.
Our room was the farthest end of the hotel block requiring to talk 2 lifts and walk various floors to reach the room.
RRONGThe problem with this hotel is the management. The hotel is very big and the route sign is not clear. I was lucky to find the room after walking for 30 minutes. And the breakfast information is wrong, the parking information is wrong. These problems should be improved through management, and good results should be obtained.
SSbj66Decent Stay, but Could Be Better for a 4-Star Hotel
The Good:
• Location: The hotel is in a great spot—just an 8-minute walk from train Station and only 10 minutes by taxi to the airport, making it very convenient for travelers.
• Breakfast: One of the best parts of our stay! A great selection of food, and the addition of a piano playing in the background made for a lovely atmosphere.
The Not-So-Good:
• Bathroom Issues: Unfortunately, the bathroom had a bad smell, which we believe was caused by water collecting under the floor for a long time. The shower design was also frustrating, as water would leak out onto the bathroom and toilet floors. Additionally, the ventilation fan didn’t seem to work well, which made the smell worse.
• Construction Noise: This was a major issue. There was loud construction work from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., making it nearly impossible to relax in the hotel during the day.
• The overall entrance to the hotel didn’t feel like a typical hotel—it was busy and had a commercial feel, more like entering a shop or mall.
We’d rate it 3/5. While the location and breakfast were great, the bathroom issues, construction noise, made it feel below 4-star standards. With better maintenance and some upgrades, this hotel could be much better!
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel in an excellent location on the waterfront, within easy walking distance of many local shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants, historical sites like the old town, and the local bus station which is handy for a bus to the airport. The hotel is very clean and well-presented, and has a very nice restaurant and rooftop bar. The rooms are large with a luxurious feel, however a gap under the door let in a significant amount of light and noise from the corridor, although the corridor and other areas of the hotel were generally very quiet. The hotel restaurant is good, however doesn't really have much for vegetarians, and nothing for vegans, and is generally limited in choice, which is disappointing as the dining room is very nice, and the staff are excellent. The restaurant is also more expensive than many of the surrounding restaurants which offer broader menus and more choice for those with dietary restrictions, so was not very appealing. In all, I found this hotel to be very pleasant, and good value for money, with excellent, friendly staff who accommodated me well with their perfect English.
