We had an unforgettable stay at Apurva Kempinski Resort Nusa Dua! A huge thank you to Amar and Bayu for their exceptional service and warm hospitality. They made my son's birthday celebration truly special with beautiful room decorations and a delicious cake. The beachfront dinner was outstanding, showcasing impressive culinary skills. Breakfast was also superb, with fantastic coffee. The resort's lush surroundings and serene atmosphere made us feel like home. We visited Aksari Resort for a family vacation, and our experience was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. In particular, Ayu Diah at the reception went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It was impressive how all the staff greeted us with warm smiles every time we met and even remembered our names — a true reflection of genuine hospitality. The complimentary yoga classes were excellent, the pool was spotless, and the floating breakfast was simply fantastic. The afternoon tea was among the best we’ve ever had, and the room’s condition was perfect. The bathtub view was breathtaking, adding to the overall sense of relaxation. What stood out most was the staff’s meticulous attention to detail, ensuring we faced no inconvenience during our stay. Thanks to their care, we were able to enjoy a truly memorable vacation. I’m already considering returning to Ubud just to stay at Aksari Resort again — I highly recommend it!

Had 2 nights stay with 3 other family (friends) during school holiday period. Swift check in at around 2pm, room was ready in a jiffy. Was told that I had been upgraded to premier room (bigger room, free minibar restock daily, and access to Sands restaurant for breakfast, which offers more complete menu). Room was on ground floor, quite spacious, amenity kits were of better quality and the room was thoughtfully designed. Beds and pillows were great. Breakfast was great at Sands restaurant. Besides Balinese cuisine, Indian, Japanese and Mediterranean sections were available too. Fresh cut fruits and juices were great too. Egg Benedict from the egg station was good Pool was quite fun, where 1 of the pool had water basketball ring and water volleyball net available for guests. Beach access was good too, one of the few Kuta hotels that offer sands on the beach (plus 2 swings). Perhaps they developed the public beach in front of the hotel. Some kinks I encountered during my stay: - Smart TV was somehow malfunctioning and we're not able to access the OTT services (Netflix YouTube etc). Turned out that the TV had no internet access. TV was replaced after 1 call to guest services and visit by technician. - I came at 4am in the morning, after checking out earlier from Ubud villa because my daughter fell sick and we decided to bring her to Siloam hospital in Sunset Road instead of trying to seek for medical services in Ubud. After the hospital visit at 3am, we were hoping that we can get a good night sleep in Anvaya with early 8check in (and I understand there would be cost for early check-in too) so we can catch up with some sleep. Upon visit to the receptionist at 4am, was told that the earliest check in they can offer is ”best effort before 10am”. This means between 4am to 10am we had to wait in the windy lobby. I explained my situation to the receptionist (hospital emergency visit at 3am for my sick daughter), and asked him specifically if there is any other place in such a big 5 star property where I, my wife and daughter could rest after having no sleep from the previous day. Several times asked his supervisor, but they couldn't offer any meaningful solution for my situation. So I left the hotel to find another hotel who has a room ready

Absolutely Exceptional Stay at Mulia Resort! I had an amazing solo trip staying at Mulia Resort — it truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm Balinese hospitality that instantly made me feel at home. Cleanliness: Everything was spotless. The room was perfectly maintained, with fresh linens and a lovely scent. Common areas like the pool and dining areas were also kept immaculately clean. Location: Ideal beachfront spot with stunning views and easy access to both peaceful relaxation and vibrant local attractions. Service: The staff were kind, professional, and genuinely attentive. Every request was handled quickly and with a smile. Amenities: World-class facilities — the pools, spa, gym, and restaurants were all top-tier. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve ever had! Whether you’re traveling solo or with family, I highly recommend Mulia Resort for a luxurious, worry-free experience in Bali.

The hotel is generally nice. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Housekeeping is very successful. The atmosphere in the restaurants is pleasant, although the venues are a bit expensive. Other than that, it’s impossible to use a stroller within the facility — there are no ramps and mostly stairs, so you don’t really have the option to use a stroller. Overall, we liked it.

The swimming pools were fantastic for both children and adults, with a lively yet relaxing atmosphere. I also indulged in the Rock Spa, which was a rejuvenating treat, and the gym facilities were top-notch for keeping up my fitness routine. Yes, the stay is on the pricier side, but for families — especially those with children — it’s worth every cent for the comfort, safety, and joy it brings. Always a blast staying at Potato Head. If you’re staying with 2 kids i suggest to book a the sky view sanctuary or on the rooftop suites. They can provide 2 sofa bed for free of charge As always, during our trip we only stay most of the time in the hotel since there are a lot of activities and a lot of restaurants that can be explored For kids there are few kids activities over the weekend and also i encourage to take the waste tour and there’s a mini workshop towards the end Overall, i always felt that this hotel is quite pricey but i understand they’re trying to sell the overall “good vibes” and also the excellent hospitality

From warm greetings to swift responses to requests, their attentiveness truly elevated the experience. Minor Drawbacks ⚠️ Toilet Drainage Smell We occasionally noticed a slight odor from the bathroom drainage, which was a bit off-putting. Great views and relaxing environment - rooms are very big and with some which were refreshed. Ritz Kids was great for the kids. Slow service though - check in (perhaps it was busy but still) took 45min. 3 different restaurants but the food is all the same-ish and on the salty side with service being slow and or a lack of attention to detail. Underwhelming considering it’s the Ritz

The property and location was amazing. amenities were great but can always have room for more improvements. Service on most was great. From Frontdesk, pool area to restaurants. Only downside were those “express service” is it? The ones when you call from the room phone. They are very rude staffs and needs to go for a refresher on proper customer service especially for a 5 star hotel level.
