We spent one night, having driven down from Wanaka and intending to continue to the Milford Sound tour the following day. Motel near to the Penguin walk area and few hiking trails.Kitchen has stove, hot plate but no oven. Only knew the washer available on common area after check out. As our car break down, friendly host allowed us to use the common toilet and offer us drinks while waiting for technical.

The room is very good, the living room is comfortable, the parking is convenient, the landlord warmly gave us milk 🥛, the night is very quiet, the sleep is very good, the bathing place is also a very good place for dry and wet separation.

A motel run by a Chinese mother and daughter is 3 kilometers away from Invercargill city center. There are fast food restaurants and two large home appliances cities.
