This was the second time I visited Heritance Kandalama and it was better than the last stay especially I would like to mention the Guest Relations Executive Miss. Yoshina for taking care of our family and fulfilling all our needs with all the needed information with her efficient style and making the stay comfortable also big shoutout to the chefs food was beyond amazing and the restaurant staff was very active as well and also the suite was amazing with all the amenities that should be there in a room overall a 10/10 experience and a must visit place in Sri Lanka ♥️

The hotel is located around 10 minutes from the famous Sigiriya citadel. The hotel’s pool and the main lobby area including the bar overlook the sigiriya citadel (Sigiriya rock), making it one of the best views of the famous rock. Further the hotel is surrounded by lush greenery. Hotel staff are professional and also “extremely” friendly. They are a “true example of island’s hospitality”. The pool and the bar area are the best places to relax. Room service, laundry service and reception were really responsive and always available. Hotel rooms are of single category but some rooms need more attention in maintaining, especially the room that was given (Room 41). The room looked kind of rundown. Yet, house keeping was commendable. Same time, food menu, and the restaurant should be improved as breakfast was almost same every morning, “french toast” was not really “french toast” at all and there was no refilling of certain food items (especially cut fruits) for late risers.

The room was clean and comfortable. Sitting in the lobby and around the swimming pool is very comfortable, you can be in a daze all day long! The surrounding environment is very good. There is a lake next to the hotel and a small hill opposite. Wake up in the morning and listen to the birds singing, by the way, there are many crows here😄

Overall stay in radisson kandy was pretty pleasant and comfortable. Room was very clean and presentable. Had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and the dining hall was spacious and the food was tasty with a variety of dishes. Roof top restaurants have a good variety of dishes with swimming pool and very view of skyline with visible kandy lake, buddha temples, mountains etc. Staff was very pleasant and ready to help for any requirements. Only was the availability of drinking water. Supplied only 2 bottles of 500 ml each and water cooler/ dispenser not available and guest had to buy additional water bottles at very high cost (compared to market rate. Hotel management can have a look at an issue of availability of drinking water. Otherwise the overall hotel stay was pleasant/ satisfying.

Sigiriya village was an exceptional stay! From the moment that we arrived we were taken care of with great service and friendliness! The surroundings are so beautiful with lush green trees, monkeys and other animals. The room was spacious, clean and well decorated. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist. The best part was the amazing buffet dinner! Amazing selection with superb quality food! Sigiriya Village is well located and you can see the rock from the swimming pool area. Definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel itself and its facilities are fantastic. The rooms are nice and the food is absolutely superb. Unfortunately the service in the restaurant was really poor, which made this stay absolutely unpleasant. We were given dirty table cloths (and they didn’t want to replace it after asking for it), our table was given to someone else while we were at the buffet, we had to order drinks several times until finally served, we were given the bill to sign while still eating the main dish (not even dessert) and actually wanted to order more drinks, after being seated, we had to wait min 10 min to place orders for drinks or get silverware etc. From a 5* hotel we definitely expected something better. This is the only hotel during our trip, where we experienced bad service. which is a pity, as otherwise the hotel is really nice. We would not book it again.

There is a big pool on the grounds and a big jacuzzi with hot water in the room.  Minuses of the hotel: Far from the attractions. Taxi from the center only go there for the price of pick me x2. Hotel taxi are 3 times more expensive. There are no stores and restaurants near the hotel, so inside the hotel prices for food x3, Also after 6pm it is dangerous to be outside because elephants are walking around. Now let's talk about the premium status and the five races. In 7 years of traveling, this is the first hotel that did not have a bathrobe, slippers and toothbrush and toothpaste in the room. The plumbing in the shower leaks, and the doors creak so much that you could call the spirits at night. Regarding the attention to the customer. I mentioned my upcoming birthday in conversation with the manager, but this fact was not used in any way to show any form of attention from the hotel. This is a huge miscalculation on the part of the staff at a premium hotel. We also had a late departure and our request to delay in the hotel for a couple of hours was refused. This was not due to the arrival of new customers, as the manager offered to extend our stay for a fee. For future customers this fact may be decisive in their choice. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the service and flexibility of the staff, as well as individual approach to customers, does not correspond to the premium level and requires improvement.

This was a great place to stay in Nuwareliya. The Villa is beautifully kept with 3 cozy rooms and a great small garden for some early morning teas! The staff were quite helpful, and the villa is located in close proximity to the Nuwareliya town. It is one of the most peaceful villas to stay at with a good view of some tea fileds. It is definitely worth a visit for couples, a group of friends and/ or Family.

I stayed at Jinling for two nights and it was quite good. The hotel is located on a hillside. The scenery outside the window is very beautiful. The temperature is several degrees lower. It often rains. It is very close to the Pink Post Office and the Governor's Palace.

This was a great place to stay in Nuwareliya. The Villa is beautifully kept with 3 cozy rooms and a great small garden for some early morning teas! Traveling the island and staying at the new hotel every day. On the basis of reviews, they thought this hotel would be the worst... but it was one of the best! There are both baldachin, hot water, pleasant bed linen, and teapot with cups)) and the room itself is big! Everything is clean and neat. It was very nice to stop here! 👍

Arriving in the afterglow of the setting sun, the two-story small building of this villa is quite suitable for couples or a family of four. Since our tour guide only accompanies us for one day, we solved the dinner problem before arriving at the destination. If you don’t prepare dinner, the waiter at the hotel will use tutu Drive customers down the mountain to eat. But we have to come back before ten o'clock in the evening. Opposite the hotel is the highest mountain in Sri Lanka. The sound of praying for blessing accompanies us to sleep and accompanies us to get up early and open the window to see the best mountain village in Lanka, surrounded by clouds and mist. Generally speaking, the focus is on the bathtub with a very good view. It is just the decoration because the temperature here is low and the hot water is not enough. It is not enough to take a bath. We have been travelling around Sri Lanka for a couple of months and this is the best guesthouse we have stayed in. The manager Mr Aruba is so welcoming and thoughtful. The building is quite new. Our bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large and everything was spotless. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend staying here.

As a transition hotel between the two Resplendent Ceylon hotels, this British-style hotel located in Noir Aire is good. The lobby, restaurant, and courtyard facilities are rich. The food in the restaurant is also diverse and delicious, and the price is very cost-effective. , the only disadvantage is that due to the high altitude of 2400 meters, the temperature is low, the room is cold, there is no air conditioning, and the cup feels a bit damp.

In Noir, the weather on the mountain is relatively cold. There is heating in the house, but the room facilities are a bit old. The hotel is very beautiful, with a British-style design, a green roof and white walls. It is very beautiful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Pedro Barn in Nuwara Eliya. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering stunning views of the lush greenery that Nuwara Eliya is famous for. The cool, refreshing mountain air and peaceful surroundings made our stay feel like a true escape. The staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Special thanks to Sampath, the General Manager, whose professionalism was evident in every detail. Nishantha, the manager, was attentive and ensured we had everything we needed. The rest of the team, including Krisarth, Madushanka, Isuru, Dishanka, Arun, Dharmalinga, Nirmala, Paruwadhan, Niroshan, Kamal, Sham, and Dinuka, were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Their dedication to providing top-notch service was truly impressive. The food at Pedro Barn was a highlight. Every meal was delicious, showcasing the best of local flavors and ingredients. From breakfast to dinner, we enjoyed every dish, and it was clear that the culinary team put a lot of thought into the menu. If you’re planning a trip to Nuwara Eliya, I highly recommend staying at Pedro Barn. The scenery of the hotel is the most beautiful on this trip, and every frame is a painting. The facilities in the room are old, and the bedding only has sheets and pillows. The blanket is in the closet, and you need to call the front desk to send the quilt. There is a band at dinner, and the atmosphere is very good.

We recently stayed at Niwadoo Resort in Sigiriya, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The tent chalets are beautifully designed, offering a unique blend of comfort and luxury in a natural setting. The room amenities are top-notch, and the swimming pool is perfect for a relaxing dip after a day of exploring. Every meal was delicious, with a great variety of flavors. Special thanks to Dinuka and the front office team for warm welcome and help throughout our stay, and to Shehan in the restaurant, who made our dining experience even better with his excellent service. Highly recommend Niwadoo Resort for anyone visiting Sigiriya—truly a memorable stay!

The hotel is right next to the cave temple and you can walk past it, which is very convenient. The hotel can report to Lion Rock for a group tour, or charter a car to Lion Rock, and then go to the ancient city. The price is billed in US dollars.

We really enjoyed this establishment and were able to enjoy our last moments in Sri Lanka until the end thanks to a late check-out :) All the staff are attentive, accommodating and efficient! The buffet is varied and suitable for several types of palates. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped. The BIG plus of this hotel is the magnificent swimming pool which is at an ideal temperature!

I would say this is a very good 4.5 star hotel. I was very impressed snd would definitely choose this hotel again. The scenery was amazing and rooms were very clean. I only wish all my hotel picks were this good.

Wonderful hotel set in highly manicured gardens with ponds and lakes. Took us ages to get to the hotel from Colombo but what a lovely oasis. There are peacocks and peahens everywhere (quite noisy at times) plus fresh water crocs , and loads of lovely birds including blue kingfisher - it is so lovely and the birds clearly love it. The ‘villa’ (bungalow) we stayed in (no 5) was very spacious and extremely well presented and very clean. Our bungalow had a small plunge pool. The room bar was well stocked and there were lots of little extras - the shampoo was nice which was a bonus, as I had forgotten to pack my own!! Doh! The paths leading to the main restaurant and reception are quite well light but there are torches in the room. We felt quite safe and the fresh water Crocodiles are afraid of people and really aren’t very big. I reckon I could have wrestled them and I’m quite small. I slept really well but my wife was disturbed a few times during the night by the calling peacocks outside so bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. The paths are made of fine sandy grit so remember to take your shoes off when entering your bungalow. And bear that in mind when you put your shoes back into your case. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We had no dietary complaints at all. And staff were good in asking how spicy you want you curry dishes to be. The staff were always polite, smiley, and helpful. The large outdoor pool was like bath water it was so lovely and warm, and a lovely view of the birds and water gardens. One thing to always bear in mind in Asia including Sri Lanka but there are days throughout the year when alcohol cannot be served. Full moon’s for example. We had one day (11th February). So check dates and pre-order beers for your in-room fridge before religious or festival days. We highly rate this lovely hotel. We strongly recommend it.

Garden-style hotel, with beautiful scenery and large rooms. There is also a welcome ceremony when arriving at the hotel. There are not many people staying at the hotel. The most funny thing is that from the lobby to the room, the bottle car cannot pass the path smoothly. At that time, the design was not thoughtful. The overall feeling is that this hotel is a relatively high-end hotel in the local area, which is good in all aspects, but remember to give a little more tip, otherwise you can just shake your face and show it to you
