I had a wonderful stay at PARKROYAL Penang Resort with my family. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and they really went the extra mile to make our stay special. Thank you so much for the lovely birthday cake and for fulfilling all my requests – it truly made the experience memorable. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious with a nice view. Facilities like the pool and kids’ activities were great, and the beach was just a short walk away. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and everything was fresh and tasty. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable trip. I really appreciate the thoughtful service and would highly recommend this resort for families or anyone looking for a beach getaway in Penang.

Bayview Hotel Georgetown Penang is a well-located, value-packed option with a standout rooftop dining experience—best suited for those who can overlook its dated look and occasional service hiccups. If you prioritize convenience, ambience, and space without needing modern finishes, it’s a solid choice..

All perfect from check in until check out. Nice room and very clean, staff friendly, facilities good. And many choice of breakfast and the taste so good. The most important many spot for taking picture because the resort so nice.

The hotel is a bit old indeed. When I first entered the hotel, the old fashion hall made me start writing my room condition. Nevertheless , the room is excellent! Private pool, private sauna, enormous wash room with separated bath tub and toilet area. There are 3 sinks in the wash room. For the bedroom, there is hanging fan. It implied my choice of turning off the air con and enjoying nature airflows! The hotel is just 15 mins away from airport, a recommended drop by before leaving Penang.

We had a night stay with 3 rooms including breakfast. Check in is smooth and receptionist is friendly with smile. Kids had enjoyed the swimming pool. There’s just a few steps to walk out to the beach. Alongside has newly opened cafe and restaurant. Breakfast has variety of choices but you need to queue if you are going at peak hour after 9am. Yes, queueing is the most unbearable part. I have never encountered such experience before you need to queue and split table for having breakfast which kinda spoil of mood. Staffs easily get annoyed when you asked for help. Not sure if I am bias but the treatment seems like a bit different compared to the white. However, the food is the salvation and nasi lemak is the signature that you must try. Cleanliness is a big issue that need to be improved. Location is not really strategic if you wish to explore Georgetown and find nice local food. Overall, it’s an okay choice for us for this stay.

The pools are great. The kids love them. Just don’t bring or order food at pools, or the crows will never leave you alone. The room we booked was very spacious. Perfect for family. From trip.com, it mentioned we might get a 3m extra large bed. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen. It’s a 1.8m king sized bed. A lot of different food at breakfast. But it’s quite crowded after 9.

Always my first choice in Batu Feringghi! Stayed here 5–6 years ago and came back again — everything still looks the same, which feels familiar and welcoming. Guest relations service is good, and the pool is nice and well maintained. The only downside was the free welcome drink redemption — went to the café but there was no staff around, so I had to wait quite a while for someone to appear. But honestly, that’s just a small matter compared to the overall experience. Still a lovely stay and I’d happily return!

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The views from the room was incredible. The room itself was clean but could have been better - the mattress was very hard, the hot water was almost non-existent and the shower head was barely working. Breakfast was a pretty standard hotel buffet. Food was good but a little lacking in variety. Note that the restaurant is over 2 levels so not very accessible-friendly.

This is my favourite hotel in Penang. Second time I'm coming here. I really love the vibes, environment n everything about this hotel. As my birthday celebration, the hotel had upgraded my booking to a deluxe room. I appreciate the compliments from the hotel and team. For sure I'll be coming for the next.

Staff was helpful the moment I got off the cab with my heavy luggage. Daily housekeeping was very consistent and satisfactory. Air conditioning was strong! Room was a lot bigger than I expected! I’d love to be back if I’m ever in Penang for holiday again 🥰
