The hotel location is perfect and it is just opposite to Yokohama CosmoWorld. Special thanks to Guest Experience Manager - Hong-Sun Synn, he helped us to exchange the room while we found our room had some noice which is caused by strong wind and made us cannot sleep. Mr. Synn came to our room and handle our case immediately, we appreciated to his care and handling.

I love this hotel! From the moment we were ushered in from the shuttle coming via Odawara stn, the hotel felt very welcoming. Reception was a large open table that is not your typical hotel reception that feel too formal. we were first brought to the lower bar seating area where it’s comfy sofa seating. Check in took awhile as many guests were received from the hotel shuttle bus (25-30 seater). Staff always check in with us on the progress while we waited. Room came with private onsen though I hope it could have been the natural spring water instead of tap. Love the huge room size thats great for little kids to run around, met my standard of cleanliness as well. Breakfast adequate but not a huge spread which I find pricey at 3900 yen. Some bread, fried jap style fish, somen, cold appetisers, veg dips, fruits, around 6-8 hot dishes including omelette and poached eggs. Yet a lot of drink choices fr milk, soy, juices, teas, etc. we had the set dinner 18000 yen and 15000 yen as both of us had diff menus. Was a 3-4 course dinner, nothing out of this world and we didnt want the hassle of walking out to find food. This was one hotel we found many singaporeans (we are one too) as breakfast and dinnertime in resto is when we started noticing the accents. Nearby is a 7-11 nearby around 300m by foot if you feel peckish in middle of the night. Very pleasant stay, like that they provide mpv service to and fro gora station that would be most main boarding point to other attractions, mind that it runs till 6pm so any later you can take the Hakone Tozan bus which brings you to the pizza resto just a short 50m walk from hotel main road.

This is my second visit, what I would say is I was really lucky last time that I booked random classic room via trip.com and I was assigned the minamimirai city+harbour view 2single bed room (which is the most exp one in non suite guest room) , this time I booked for the same view but a double bed and the room is smaller. The room is still so perfect for chill vacation. Nice walk to park or JR station in early winter, convenience shop nearby , everything is fine. Do book for Spa some weeks earlier, I just missed it this time. Hope to return in near future.

We stayed here with our family of seven on March 29th and 30th. On Saturday the 29th, it rained heavily so we couldn't do any sightseeing, but we were able to relax at the spa next to the hotel. We stayed in rooms on the second and first floors, and from the second floor rooms you can see the ocean right in front of you, so the view is amazing. From the first floor, you can't see the ocean very well, so the view isn't so great. If you're staying there, I recommend a room above the second floor. When we made a reservation for dinner, the staff member told us that the early hours were fully booked and we had to start from 8:00, but the person in charge explained to us that ”we have small children, so we've booked an early hour starting from 5:30,” which was very helpful. We had three small children, so we were very impressed with their amazing service. The next day, the weather was good, and we took a walk on the promenade around the hotel in the morning. The sea breeze was pleasant and the surrounding scenery was beautiful, making us want to come back again. There are still not many foreign tourists, and it's close to Tokyo, so I think it's a hidden gem of a tourist spot.

The private bath is integrated with nature. The Japanese-style living room is spacious, the Western-style bedroom is spacious, and the whole hotel is filled with the scent of sandalwood. The lobby has 24-hour coffee, tea, snacks, and drinks. Dinner and breakfast are very exquisite and colorful, and different foods are provided according to the festival season. It is a very good experience. The service is very thoughtful, with a special car to pick up and drop off at the nearby station. The refrigerator in the room provides free drinks and food. The large bath is not very special, it is just a little bigger.

First stop in Hakone! We stayed at Hakone Kowakien Mikawaya Ryokan. It is right there when you get off the mountain bus ”Horaien”. It is very convenient. Check-in is not until 3 o'clock. We arrived early and stored our luggage first. We went to the nearby Okada Museum of Art (8 minutes walk). If you want to visit carefully, you need to stay at least 2 hours. Then we took the bus to the Open-Air Museum (10 minutes by bus). The wind was really strong that day, but we walked around for more than an hour. After we came back, we waited in the hut next to us when we checked in. We were served a cup of tea and a fruit. Someone would take us to the room later and introduce the hotel facilities. The three standard yukatas in the room are S, M and L sizes. Please make sure they fit. The whole hotel is very cold. There is no central air conditioning. The room is heated by the warm air. It is also very cold to walk along the corridor inside the hotel to the large bath and restaurant. We stayed in the hotel for too long. I booked a one-night stay with two meals. The specialty beer, I don't remember what it is called, you can try it, but don't have too high expectations. I think it is just average. I always think Kyoto's beer is delicious. The hotel's hot spring has one indoor pool and one outdoor pool. They are not big. It is a bit crowded for three people. But the water is very clean. There is an hour of free drinks in the cabin at check-in from 9pm to 10pm, including red wine, white wine, whiskey, white wine, orange juice and apple juice. There is also a 24-hour coffee machine. In general, this hotel is worth recommending. It is cost-effective and the service attitude is also good. There is a guy who can speak Chinese.

The hotel staff is willing to answer our questions, only that the language barrier found. Other than that, the hotel is neat and clean, enough spaces to store 2 laths size baggage. One more, it will be nice if can provide 1 more foldable chair inside the room as we stayed in twin room. Thanks for hospitality and appreciate much in our stay.

思思賢 Chill My BabeDuring my recent trip to Tokyo, I stayed three nights at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama Minatomirai Premier, and it was fantastic! The sea view was breathtaking, and the attention to detail made my stay incredibly comfortable. My room had floor-to-ceiling windows that brought in stunning views—whether it was the ocean by day or the city lights at night, I could never get enough! The hotel’s amenities were a delight. I loved the rooftop pool and the indoor gym, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The Italian restaurant and bar offered delicious food, and I highly recommend the breakfast. The location was also convenient, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The modern design, inspired by Yokohama’s cruise culture, added a unique touch to my stay. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I felt I truly got my money's worth!

OOhbrainsNot the easiest place to find, nestle between the river and the mountain we had the most amazing experience. Friendly staff that speaks English with the most amazing breakfast and dinner. Not the cheapest hotel but you are paying for the experience and I would definitely recommend you try this hotel out. Our room had its own private hot spring and we were more then impressed with the level of detail and service that the owner(s) put into running of this inn / hotel.

BBolanghaoxiaoxiannvThe hot spring hotel is very beautiful, and it feels very old when you walk inside. The public areas are carefully decorated, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are private hot springs that can be booked, and there are not many people in the public hot springs. You can directly book a hot spring before breakfast. Dinner and breakfast are delicious. There is a young lady who speaks super fluent English. Communication is barrier-free, and every dish is very clear. The only drawback is that the location of the hotel is not very convenient if you don't have a private car. You need to call to pick up the station. If you don't have a mobile phone number, you can contact by email, but you can't guarantee timely contact... If you drop off at the check-out time, you can only be sent to Sheguye to take the bus, but there are not many buses, and they are not very punctual, so you may have to wait for a long time. Except for the inconvenient transportation, other experiences are great!

33LittlePigsI would have given a 5 star rating for service but got a very bad experience with this one staff call Yashiro (she wasn’t wearing a name tag but told us this name after we asked a few times for her name). We booked 3 rooms for 2 nights, for 6 people. On the second evening when we return to the rooms, we found out that our room wasn’t cleaned. Later found out that we need to put the magnet tag outside of the door if we need cleaning. Which is fine and we were not complaining about this. But we needed new towels. We called the reception separately and got hanged up! The receptionist said a bunch of “maybe” English or mixed with Japanese, then hang up. I called again and explained we needed new towels, she said “no towels!” Then hang up. I called again, same answer, then hang up. We then go down to the lobby, this same girl looked annoyed and said NO TOWELS! Her level of service was just very bad and unacceptable! It was only until when we asked for her name, she acted she didn’t understand English. Then I spoke in Japanese asking for her name. Then her attitude changed. Gave us 3 towels. I said we needed 6 for 6 people. Then she said no again! I said it is ridiculous if the hotel only has 4 clean towels! And I will write my experience on my booking platform. Then she finally took us to our floor and said there are many towels there. To be fair, all other staff was very friendly, including the boy who checked us in and the girl called Monya who checked us out and helped us with delivering the luggages to our next hotel. I don’t need compensation from this hotel as I will not be returning to this hotel again because of this one bad staff but I surely hope management can give her better training on how to handle simple customer requests with a right attitude.

TTimothyIf you have extra money, this could be a nice way to indulge. However, a word of warning. If you're arriving at Odawara train station, there's no way to get to the hotel except by the hotel shuttle. Taxis won't take you. And the hotel shuttle won't take you unless you've placed your name on the reservation list ahead of time. Nobody warned me about this. I'd read online that a connecting train takes you near the hotel, but this isn't true either. I arrived during a snow/ice storm and waited over 3 hours before I could get a ride to the hotel. The shuttle driver wouldn't let me on. I called the hotel front desk 3 or 4 times, but they weren't very helpful. I suppose this is the language barrier. They meant well. But regardless, if a shuttle reservation is the only way to access a remote mountain top hotel, it's pretty important to make sure your guests understand this. Once I did arrive, I have to admit the room was beautiful. The buffet dinner was fantastic but not included in the price of the room - a little disappointing, since the room is already so expensive. Lots of extra costs, so be careful. I received a really great massage in my room. The onsen hot spring was very nice, and free (included in room charge). Breakfast the next morning was also included in room charge. The hotel bar was closed, though. There wasn't much opportunity to socialize or meet people. I did check out the lake the next morning, which was beautiful in the snowfall. I'm sharing photos of that. There wasn't time to check out much else because I had to get back on the shuttle bus at 10:30 to catch my next train. I suppose if there hadn't been an ice storm, I would have checked out more of the surrounding area and appreciated it.

MMicaelaWe really enjoyed our overnight stay after arriving in Tokyo. Free airport transfer was great and all on time. Lovely room, bigger than expected and very quiet. It was lovely to relax in the onsen after the long flight and we had a lovely meal in the 5th floor restaurant, with a great view over the river to the airport. Really glad we’re going back there before our flight home.

In addition, there was a 7-11 downstairs, which was very convenient. I will stay there again or recommend to my friends.
