Hotel Review – Hotel Ocidental Dresden Newa I recently stayed at Hotel Ocidental Dresden Newa, and while the property benefits from a central location in the inner city, the overall experience was disappointing. The hotel’s greatest advantage is indeed its proximity to the city center, allowing convenient access to major attractions and public transportation. However, aside from this, the stay was overshadowed by several shortcomings. Firstly, the amenities were very limited, and the guest room itself appeared dated and somewhat worn, reflecting the age of the hotel. This left an impression of tiredness rather than comfort. The most concerning issue, however, relates to the parking situation. The hotel advertises that it offers its own parking facilities, yet in reality, this is not the case. Guests are required to use a public parking facility nearby, which is misleading and highly inconvenient. This information should be corrected immediately, as it creates false expectations for visitors arriving by car. Additionally, the area in front of the hotel is consistently overcrowded with parked vehicles, often blocking arriving guests from accessing the entrance or unloading luggage during check-in. This further contributed to a frustrating arrival experience. In conclusion, while the central location is undeniably practical, the limited amenities, outdated rooms, misleading information about parking, and poorly managed entrance area significantly detract from the overall quality of the stay. I would strongly recommend the management address these issues to ensure a more accurate representation of the hotel and a better experience for future guests.

We were going to a gig at the nearby Haus Ansee and this was the closest hotel. Wonderful receptionist on Sat and Sunday morning who was so helpful! We managed to check in early(not guaranteed)and the room was lovely and comfortable. The parking garage for our hire car worked well and we left it when we got the tram into town. Cannot fault the breakfast at all and just generally all the service we received. Nothing not to like except I miss a tea/coffee tray but maybe this isn’t something that happens in bc Grr we nan hotels. Don’t hesitate….value for money! I was pleasantly surprised by the room in Adina Hotel. The room was very large, estimated to be about 40 square meters. The room equipment is very high-end, including an electronically controlled stove, a built-in oven, a dishwasher and a front-loading washing machine. The TV has many channels and rich programs. The decoration of the room is very new, probably only about 2 years ago. The hotel is very close to Leipzig train station, and it only takes less than 10 minutes to walk with your suitcase. The hotel's room service is also good. I will choose hotels with the same name in other cities in the future.

Excellent hotel in a quiet location. The hotel exceeded my expectations. Very clean room with coffee machine and kettle. Luxurious bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Walking distance to all the sights of Dresden. Walking distance to the train station is 15-20 along a safe route (I walked alone and at night with a noisy suitcase), but you can also take the tram. If I come to Dresden again - only to NH!

The hotel is located next to the Frauenkirche in Dresden. There are many attractions around it. There is a square outside the living room and bedroom windows, and it is also close to the Brühl platform and the princely column map. We are a family of three, a couple with a nine-year-old child, the hotel fee is paid through Ctrip in advance, the child does not have an extra bed, and an extra 5 euros per night will be charged when checking in. It feels that European double beds are made of two single beds. The overall feeling of staying in was good, the second and third photos were taken hurriedly and unclearly. There is a dedicated living room, which is very convenient for watching TV and eating. The kitchen and toilet are not photographed. The kitchen does not have an oven and has an electric stove. The toilet is not small, there is a washing machine, but we haven't used it.

Close to train station and zoo, room to the backyard and quite spacious, has fully equipped kitchen, but no hoover, with warning that one shall not produce smoke/steam, as the detector is directly connected to the fire station, and warms about fine it would cause. Need to clean the kitchen, otherwise fine 50 euro. Cleaning team needs better briefing and communication. Room door was opened by cleaning staff twice before check out time. Free tea and coffee available at nice lobby lounge.

We were there during the trade fair, which was unfortunately a bit limiting. Breakfast was moved to an area that wasn't as inviting as the actual room! That was a shame considering the price, as it's all about the atmosphere and feeling. The location is great, a great view of the Dresden skyline. The rooms were clean and tidy! As far as the staff were concerned, there were quite a few young, unsure-looking waiters, we think they were just being trained. Accordingly, I don't want to give a rating on that, everyone has to start somewhere :) an overall successful stay with a few minor drawbacks!

Great location, almost within sight of the train station with a mall and abundant dinning options nearby. To the other direction are the sites you came to see in Dresden, close. The room is very modern, comfortable, and equipped with essentials like coffee. Downstairs is a comfortable bar and breakfast area - loaded with dozens of people during my visit. The staff were friedly if busy. Great price on the room and breakfast - which was great.
