I had a day to layover. I needed a room to rest before I head home. Pleased with their service and cleanliness. I requested for the toilet kit since it was not provided in the room. Amazed by the coffee maker; coffee bags from. by Coffee & Tea Leave. Gotten a relatively high floor at the corner to view the sunrise and the airport taxiway. Happy to see how the planes were taking off with the noise from a distance. Reception was kind to extend one hour for me to check out. 🙂

I was concerned about staying here because of the area and the chain, but honestly it was fine. I felt safe and the room was clean and had what I needed. No frills but no issues.

Probably the best hotel based on price, location, 24 hr free airport shuttle bus, free water, free wifi, clean spacious room and allow me to check in early at 2 pm and check out at 4 am. Compare around you will not find better deal.

It started off promisingly, with a smooth coordination for my pick-up at LAX, which pleasantly exceeded my expectations and set a hopeful tone for my stay. However, that initial positivity quickly faded. When I entered my room and opened the curtains, I was met with an unsightly view: a construction dumping site littered with open garbage bins and, shockingly, an exposed toilet. The thought of starting my mornings with coffee while staring at such a view was less than ideal. The next morning, as I tried to enjoy my coffee, the scene outside was impossible to ignore. I found myself unable to finish my coffee and went straight to the reception desk, feeling quite frustrated. I explained the situation to the manager, expressing my disappointment and requesting a different room. To her credit, she did her best to help by offering a room one floor up. While I appreciated her attempt, the ‘solution’ barely improved the situation. The same eyesore remained directly below, and I found myself avoiding the view entirely by only looking up at the sky instead. What could have been a comfortable, relaxing stay turned into one filled with frustration and disappointment. While the staff made an effort, it didn’t change the fact that each morning started with a grim reminder of the inadequate environment. The experience left a sour aftertaste, overshadowing any positives the hotel had to offer. With all of this in mind, I’m giving 2 stars. Sadly, I won’t be returning and would not recommend this experience to others.

The location is good, room is clean and the place is pretty quiet. The hotel provides shuttle bus that comes in regular intervals. The hotel has onsite cafe and restaurants that serve decent food. This place is ideal for a short layover.

Room is big and comfortable. Had good nights sleep. Bathroom is pretty well-designed too. Only gripe is the lack of variety for breakfast. There are many options that are nearer to Disneyland (and possibly much cheaper) but recommend to stay here if comfort is a priority.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights (10-12 Nov) during our business trip, booking two king-bed rooms. The hotel’s location was around 1.5 miles from the downtown. The front office staff, as well as the room service team, were very friendly and attentive. They were always willing to listen to our queries and resolve them with a smile. The only issue we encountered was the lack of an in-room bottled water, dental kit and slippers, which are typically provided in hotels outside of the USA but 2 bottles of water everywhere except DoubleTree By Hilton! While we understand that this may be due to the country’s policies, it can be somewhat inconvenient for travelers who are accustomed to these amenities. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and great service.

It is a clear and tidy hotel with no doubt. However, some of its staff were extremely rude. I went down to ask them if the hotel offered turndown services. The man starred at me then asked, in a highly disrespectful tone, “what do you mean by a turndown service?” Completely shocked that I would encounter such a question at a Nikko hotel, I could not say a word for like ten seconds while that man continued starring at me. How can I reason his behavior if not an intentional embarrassment?

I arrived two hours before check in and was going to ask if it was okay to hang out in the lobby, I was pretty tired. The desk just went ahead and got me checked in. It was a pretty decent location. My only complaint is…this is going to sound weird but my desk was leaking water. It had a frosted glass top cover, I think there was a bad seal in-between the top cover and the desk top and some condensation was occurring. Water would drip out when I put any weight on it.

The K mattress & pillows were very comfortable. The room was very spacious & quiet. Cynthia from front desk was very accommodating for my request & had a great stay. The staff were friendly, courteous & efficient. The gated covered parking came in handy for the storm & I appreciate they have 3 well functioning luggage carts for guest use. Gateway Towne Center is within walking, 1 block to Best Buy, Marshalls, etc.

A good looking hotel. It’s nice and clean there. A bit far from the airport, but it’s in a nice part of town. The workers and friendly and helpful. Had to ask front desk for a few things a couple of times, but overall they did a good job.

The Westin was perfect for our short stay before flying home. We chose it as it was close to the airport and the shuttle both to and from made it too easy. A short walk to a few dining options and also car hire within the building is a great option. There is also another car hire place just down the road. Overall very pleased with the Westin and would stay there again.

Room is big and comfortable. Had good nights sleep. Bathroom is pretty well-designed too. Only gripe is the lack of variety for breakfast. There are many options that are nearer to Disneyland (and possibly much cheaper) but recommend to stay here if comfort is a priority.

The hotel facilities are diverse and very convenient. It's a pity that the service attitude is not very friendly. My children and I arrived at the hotel at one o'clock in the afternoon. The front desk said that there were no rooms ready and asked us to come back at three o'clock in the afternoon. We came back after lunch. At about four o'clock in the afternoon, the front desk arranged a room for us near the elevator. We went up After seeing the room, we immediately went back to the front desk and asked them to change rooms. We told the front desk that the children might be woken up by the noise in the morning because they were close to the elevator, and we hoped to change to another room, but the front desk staff was reluctant and only said, ”I don't t think so we have other room for you!”, Because we were staying for 3 nights and expressed that we could not accept a room so close to the elevator, the front desk staff went to express it to the manager, and the manager immediately said that he could change the room for us. But for three nights, the bed was not clean. My children and I were bitten by insects every day. Our hands, feet and back were also bitten every day, which was itchy and painful.

We stayed for 3 nights to go to California Disney. It's a little far from Disney, so we were tired and decided to walk the streets at night after the park closed. However, there is a Disney parking lot (Toy Story parking) within a 5-minute walk! They take you to the park by bus for free, so it was safe and very convenient. The buses run regularly. As expected, there were a few lines to get on the bus around opening and closing times. As for the room, I'm concerned about the plumbing. It seems to vary depending on the room, but it was very difficult to adjust the shower temperature.

There was a review that said they didn't have a hair dryer, but when I asked, they happily lent me one! All the staff were kind and smiling and were very helpful! There's also a small convenience store, so if you're feeling hungry, you can buy pizza and ramen! You can get to Disney in less than 15 minutes. There were a lot of cars passing by at night, so I didn't feel too scared. I want to stay here again! Anyway, the room is spacious!

Great location. Very convenient! Friendly staff. Hotel itself aged look and feel. Water was stopped between 11 pm to 6 am for the entire building, On the second day. Could not shower or anything for that day. We came in for a convention we worked till midnight and then had to leave following morning at 6 pm. COULD NOT SHOWER!!! The room wasn’t cleaned for two days, we had to call the front desk for each day. Not the great experience. Hope our next stay will be better…

A nice cosy hotel but the heart attack came during check out as I was charged the full amount of the stay when I had paid in full. After clarifying with Trip, they actually charging for pre-authorization charge which I was not informed during check-in.

From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel’s beautiful entrance and lobby and meticulously clean environment. It’s clear that a lot of thought and care has gone into maintaining this lobby. One of the standout features of this hotel is their family-friendly policy of ”kids eat free.” This not only adds great value for families traveling with children but also makes dining more enjoyable without the added stress of budgeting for meals. It was delightful to see kids savoring their meals with smiles and laughter filling the dining area—a testament to the welcoming atmosphere the hotel fosters. The pool area is nothing short of breathtaking. The stunning design incorporates lush landscaping, providing a serene oasis for relaxation. Even more impressive is the cleanliness and upkeep of the pool. It sparkles in the sunlight, inviting guests to take a refreshing dip or lounge poolside with a drink in hand. This meticulous attention to detail elevates the overall experience and sets a positive tone for the entire stay. However, I must mention that while the hotel’s public areas and amenities are fantastic, the rooms themselves are somewhat outdated. Although they provide the necessities and comfort for a good night's sleep, the decor and furnishings could use an upgrade to match the hotel’s otherwise stunning aesthetic. Nevertheless, this did not significantly detract from my overall experience. After all, when you're surrounded by such beauty and comfort in other areas, it’s easy to overlook the room's shortcomings. In conclusion, this hotel is a gorgeous retreat that excels in providing top-notch amenities, such as kid-friendly dining options and a beautiful pool area. While there’s room for improvement in room decor, the overall experience remains delightful and fulfilling. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families and vacationers looking for a blend of relaxation and fun! Lastly, parking and shuttle to theme parks were complimentary! It’s a 4 stars for me!

If you are doing the Disneyland/Disney California Adventure then this hotel is only a block away. But it's situated further in the block that it's not right on the street (it can get the cross streets can get very very busy). The pool is big and clean. I actually booked this hotel for that sole reason. I wanted a big pool so as not to swim in a crowded pool. The pool at this hotel satisfied that for me. My only complaint is that the room I was in did not have hot water in the shower. While I stayed here in August and the weather was in the upper 80s, it is still hard to shower when the shower head is blasting icy cold water. Also, the tub gets clogged very easily. Other than that I liked the hotel. I'll probably stay here again when I come back to Anaheim.

I love the DoubleTree by Hilton. This is my Go To Hotel when we visit Anaheim. Never a disappointment. --Paul was helpful, caring and so Fabulous. But will never go thru a 3rd party again..

I like the hotel. Located at a wonderful location just right across the cable car stop. The room was cozy and comfortable. The bed was nice and comfy. There are safe, ice bucket and coffee machine. And the bathroom was spacious. I will very much recommend this hotel.

Nice clean hotel! Near the center of the minuses yes, there are homeless people nearby, but this is San Francisco! Trolleybus stop 31 to Ocean Beach is right next to the hotel. The hotel has everything you need: shampoo, shower gel, air conditioning, hair dryer. Bed linen is clean. Tea, coffee, water with lemon for free. And the most amazing thing is that the price is very reasonable, about $ 60 per night (November 2024). They allowed me to leave my things after check-out. They speak English and Spanish, which is very convenient for me!

It's more run-down than I thought, but the service is really good. I can hear everyone moving around, so I don't dare to move around. It's very safe and not as scary as I thought!

The hotel is very central located and most places of interest can be reached by foot. Breakfast was a bit more than continental breakfast (bagels, cream cheese, some fruits, coffe, tea). Rooms are small and a bit worn out. The elevetor could be considered an attraction with the old door. Parking in the area can be quite costly as the hotel just has some recommended public garages around. Overall a nice stay in a hotel with some charme.

Good location, restaurants nearby. Room is clean. Only thing that needs to be upgraded is coffee machine which is bit outdated. Food & beverage on main lobby is good and affordable, had a pepperoni pizza which was so good. Would book again when in SF

Location of the hotel is good. As told, left side of the hotel is more safe than the right side as there are not many homeless people on the left side. The hotel provides daily cleaning and refills bath amenities automatically. The air conditioning is quite cool but can be adjusted, nevertheless, the blanket is not thick enough which slightly affected sleeping quality.

Very accessible with public transport. Right next to shopping district, union square and food places. Check in/out was very smooth. Didn't got a chance to use the amenities tho.

Hotel looks elegant and new. Checked in was quick. Room is big and clean. Near to Union Square and Chinatown. The only negative point is rain shower water pressure is weak. No hand held shower head and no bidet spray. Everything else is perfect.

Old money style hotel. The service is very good. The room was very clean and the bed and bathroom linens were clean and comfortable. The hotel is on Nebel Mountain, quiet, the streets are clean, and very safe! Give a full 5 star rating!
