Location is đŻ - just right in front of Venice Mestre Station - super convenience to take bus to Venezi too.
Room was clean and tidy with all amenities.
The only downside was the soundproof - our room was at the end and share a door with next room so we can hear clearly what others were talking in their room.
Check in & out was easy and straight forward.

Itâs a great place to stay if you travel to Venezia by car. There is a free parking, right next to your house in camping. The shuttle to Venice organized by camping, the price is 2,50 euros per person, book it in advance. There is a huge swimming with all amenities on the site: toilets, showers, restaurant and cafe. Great place to stay with kids as well. A huge swimming pool will be a great entertainment and relaxation after a day in Venice. For adults they organize is a party night near the pool.

The room is close to the train station, not cramped, and has a balcony where you can step out to enjoy the view. The hotel also provides luggage delivery service to the room.

Close to the rail station, has direct view on the river which is very nice to sit outside.
The room was exposed to the traffic and it can effect the quality of your sleep.
Staff are efficient and prompt to assist.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic â it's definitely the top choice for anyone visiting Venice. It's barely 20 meters from the train station that takes you to Venice Island, just across the street. The train ticket is only 1.5 Euro, with trains running every 5 minutes until 11 PM, making it incredibly convenient. The hotel rooms are very well-equipped. The bathroom is spacious, and they provide slippers, an electric kettle, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The breakfast offers a rich and varied selection. What's especially worth mentioning is that I made a mistake with my room booking, but thanks to multiple interventions from Ctrip, the hotel graciously offered a free cancellation, which made us very happy. This is a highly recommended hotel, and Ctrip is a truly trustworthy platform.
The air conditioning in the room wasn't working properly. Our electricity occasionally went out. Not worth four stars in our opinion.
Strange men in the parking lot were keeping an eye on our car, so we used the Hotzl parking lot just to be safe.

Location was super convenient to travel into Venice as well! We love the huge shower area as well. Love our stay here and will recommend :)

Modern, clean, and great for train travelers
I stayed here for two nights while visiting Venice and it was a great base. The hotel is super modern and clean, with everything I needed â comfy bed, good air con, and a little kitchenette which was handy. Staff were helpful and check-in was smooth.
Itâs located just a few minutesâ walk from Venezia Mestre train station, which made it really easy for me to get into Venice (about 10 minutes by train) and continue on to Florence.
The area itself isnât super scenic, but it felt safe and convenient. If you want to avoid the expensive and older hotels in central Venice and donât mind a short commute, this is a great choice. Iâd stay again!
The price for a quadruple room with breakfast in Europe is really amazing, and the breakfast is also very rich. If you are driving to Venice, it is highly recommended. There are also very large supermarkets nearby where you can buy all kinds of food and daily necessities as souvenirs to bring back home for friends. It is close to the local community and the restaurant prices are reasonable.
With the reservation we only had the night but paying at the moment you could take advantage of the buffet dinner for 35 euros per person and breakfast for 16 euros per person. I find the hotel very nice especially if you have children. Phenomenal evening entertainment with the arrival of parsley. Ditto in the morning when parsley arrives to greet the children for souvenir photos. The bed was super comfortable and the room well-kept. The staff was kind and always very helpful. An experience to repeat for sure but with breakfast outside the structure as it was too expensive. For dinner, however, everything was ok.

Very Good
LLady WI was skeptical reading previous reviews but decided to give it a try for one night during my business trip as Iâm an IHG member. Having experienced staying at 5 different hotels in this city â most of them within walking distance on Corso Porta Nuova (main street leading from the train station to many main attractions) â I can say that Indigo was among one of my top 2 choices.
The room I stayed in was tastefully decorated â the headboard of the bed immediately attracted attention, striking but elegant, with paintings seemingly telling romantic tales of the cityâs history; open wardrobe was clever as it made the room seem spacious while leaving plenty of space for hanging clothes and jackets especially on a rainy day.
The balcony was a super nice touch and was my favorite to come back to in the evening with a view of charming Verona at night watching people and cars passing by. Two chairs, a coffee table with blankets and a little bit of floral decorations. I spent a fair bit of time despite the cold and rain, soaking in the beautiful images which were among the most special memories Iâd carry with me from this trip.
Check-in was super efficient. Anna at the reception was an absolute joy to meet and interact with. Sheâs super kind, thoughtful and professional in helping me with storing my suitcase as I was in a rush to catch my train to a nearby city on a rainy day; she gave clear, accurate info helping me to go to the train station within 10mins; and on the next day, kindly offered recommendations for cafes. Her passion and enthusiasm and friendliness is above and beyond many of her peers. Her genuine smile stands out from others who might be just trying to get their job done. You can tell Anna is truly exceptional and a wonderful ambassador for Hotel Indigo. Keep up the good work!
Breakfast service was super efficient, friendly, attentive. The professional and thoughtful gentleman offered multiple times coffee, tea, orange juice, etc, making sure each guest had everything needed for a good start of the day, quickly clearing dishes while guests stepped away - perfectly seamless. Truly outstanding attention to details. The restaurant offered a good variety of food choices: raw veggies are rare in hotel breakfast buffet but here they did so that was a plus in my book. Fresh fruits, muesli, (no sugar-added) yogurt and scrambled eggs were my go-to. Although I didnât eat pastries or bread or drink Prosecco for breakfast, if thatâs something you like then youâd be pleased to know they offered plenty to satisfy different tastes.
The only thing that prevented Indigo from making my No. 1 choice in Verona was the shower. I requested specifically for a shower because from the photos shared by other travelers and reviews many commented that the bath look dated and needed update. I personally do not take baths in hotels so having a new, good water pressure shower with fast efficient drain would be way more important. They did honor my request with a standup shower corner stall. However, the square-shaped shower stall area was so small that my elbows (Iâm petite size female) kept knocking on the glass doors. I believe theyâre scheduled for major renovation in Jan-Feb 2024 so itâd be interesting to see if they remodel the bathrooms and showers.
GGuest UserA beautiful hotel in possibly the best location in Venice - away from the crowds but only a 10 minute water taxi from St Marks Square. The rooftop pool and bar provide a stunning view.
All staff very helpful and welcoming making our stay perfect.
We would not hesitate to return to the hotel.

GGuest UserI received a message from the store in advance, explaining the route in detail. Take bus No. 2 from the train station and get off at the stop before the Riya Tow Bridge. After getting off the bus, follow the instructions and walk for 5 minutes to the hotel. Go to the second floor to complete the check-in formalities and then work. Staff took 10 minutes to walk to the apartment. Our room is on the second floor, with 2 bedrooms, 1 living room, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with seasonings and a washing machine. The apartment is not in a busy area and is very quiet. It's a few minutes' walk to the river, very convenient. There is a market by the river in the morning where you can buy ingredients, and the seafood is fresh and cheap. Although prices are high in Venice, it is very cheap to buy water and food from supermarkets and markets.
AAnonymous UserVery good experience in this hotel. The very large and clean room. The staff very careful and have gluten-free food. Furthermore, it is very close to the Academia bridge that crosses the great channel. They also have a restaurant in the same hotel. I therefore recommend it 100%.

GGuest UserFor three people, including city tax, and costing just over 1000 (units not specified), the value for money here in Venice is truly unbeatable. The hotel's main drawback is its distance from the train station, which makes it more ideal for those arriving by car. However, if you plan your trip and use the People Mover, the journey is significantly shorter. There's a Vaporetto (water bus) stop conveniently located just a few hundred meters from the hotel entrance. Be aware that walking from the train station would take at least 35 minutes.
The breakfast, for an Italian hotel, was exceptionally generous and definitely met the standards of a large hotel group. Occupancy seemed quite high too. While the rooms are on the smaller side, for a short stay of one or two nightsâreally, just a place to sleepâthey are perfectly adequate; what more could you possibly need? If you're looking for bigger rooms or more amenities, you'd naturally expect to pay more.
In summary, if you figure out the public transport route from the train station to the hotel beforehand, your stay will be absolutely perfect. For travelers who aren't overly particular about minor details, this place comes highly recommended.
AAdam23We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that itâs three stars in Veniceâwhich is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations.
You wonât find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choiceâand she turned out to be absolutely right!
We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed.
The amenities were excellentâtruly some of the best Iâve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in timeâin the best way possible.
A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated.
Lastly, the location is unbeatableâjust a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus.
All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was rightâit really is a great choice!
