The hotel staff were very nice and kind. Upon arrival we had a lot of bags and the staff made sure we got a room on ground floor and there was a trolley to move our items at once. We were indoors all the time so cleaning staff left our room to give us privacy. Next morning we requested to have our room cleaned and in 5 mins there was someone there to clean. So efficient!!

Stayed overnight for a wedding in the area. Convenient online check-in & check out. Had to pay £20 for early check in. Parking was an extra £12 overnight. Great facilities including pool, jacuzzi and sauna. Plenty of choice at breakfast including dairy free milk. Friendly staff.

We stayed 1 night while visiting family. The room was a reasonable size, comfortable bed, and clean environment. There was a wedding in our first evening but we were not disturbed by any noise. Breakfast was really good but expensive for a buffet style breakfast. Parking is quite tricky given that the area is busy. We became members to get it free. The desk clerk was very quick and organised. Unfortunately, the morning after the wedding, there was a smell of vomit outside the main door.

Fabulous location, if you need the airport. But, you have to bus/cab/drive into Southend/Rayleigh/wherever if not wanting the airport. 15min walk to various eateries, if you don't want to eat in the hotel, like Toby Carvery, Hungry Horse, African, fish and chips. Majority of staff seen were happy and chatty, nice to see. 5* breakfast, would definitely recommend as had lots of choice. Room was clean, included bed, desk, chair, armchair, safe, kettle, iron, toiletries, bath&shower.

Breakfast had plenty of options, cold salad, ham and cheese, hot scrambled egg, bacon, sausages (standard and vegetarian), hash browns, beans, cereals, seeds, yogurt, a couple Danishes and then there was 'make your own' waffles (just like in the States)

PPlayful+JoyfulThe hotel service is good. Just the restaurant and bar at the hotel is opened from 5-9pm. If you drive , the hotel offers parking. It’s not a problem for you that no restaurants around the hotel. Anyway, the hotel meets everything you need. I love the most is the senses of fire safety. Many fire extinguishers in the corridors of the hotel.

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, making it perfect for a good rest before traveling. What stood out was the unique interior and our room was called ”Lisbon”, which was a delightful coincidence since Lisbon was one of our next destinations. Each room is named after a city, which adds a nice touch of character to the hotel. Breakfast was simple but nice, just enough to start the day. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a comfortable and well-located place to stay before flying out from Stansted Airport.

WWorld Traveller 世界Nice room with very comfortable bed, especially the pillows! Convenient to get to the airport, which was a £4 shuttle bus. Parking is £15 per day for guests, which is a bit of a rip-off as this should be free and included in the room rate… but other than that, no complaints. There was air con in the room, which was much needed as it was very hot.

Found a spider and a few insects in the washroom, they can definitely do better with cleanliness. asked housekeeping for a general room clean up while I was out and they emptied the bins and all but beds were not made. I left my Apple Watch accidentally in the room and when I came back it was still there . So good honest staff.

GGuest UserThe room was good- clean, well equipped, + biscuits provided as well as tea and coffee! Can't fault it. Can't comment on the breakfast (included in room price) as its not available at weekends until after 8.30 and I had to be elsewhere by then. From 7.00 in the week. The thing that let the place down was the parking - or more the point , the lack of it. There must be 40 rooms but only space for 4 cars! All the other car parks around and there are plenty, had max 4 hour stay limit signs on display. Rather than risk a parking charge / fine I found some on-road parking 5 mins walk away and hoped the car would be still there in the morning (it was). If you want a chance for the 4 places you'll need to get there early afternoon - its bedlam there in the evening with the other pub and food outlet customers vying for space, well it was on Friday and Saturday evenings.
