The hotel's location is great, within walking distance to Narati, which is a big plus! The hotel itself is large with a spacious lobby, but its size also means it can be a bit confusing to navigate. It could use more staff. Breakfast was decent; there was a good variety, but the taste was just okay. As for facilities, I particularly want to mention the laundry room. It really needs an update. I had to search for it, finding it in an adjacent building and quite tucked away. In the end, I couldn't iron my clothes due to insufficient facilities and had to go back. The room is a bit old-fashioned but fully equipped, giving off vibes of hotels from a decade ago during an economic boom. Overall cleanliness was acceptable, but I'm deducting points because I found a centipede-like insect in the room just before check-out (perhaps due to the excellent natural environment?).

My overall stay at Wanda Meihua Hotel in Tashkurgan was excellent. The hotel lobby is spacious and grand, with modern and refined decor that creates a wonderful ambiance. The front desk staff were warm and polite, making check-in swift and patiently answering all my questions about travel routes. The breakfast in the restaurant offered a rich variety of fresh ingredients, including delicious local specialties. My room was spacious and clean, with soft and comfortable bedding and a spotless bathroom. The room was equipped with an oxygen machine and humidifier, which greatly alleviated any discomfort from the high altitude and significantly improved my sleep quality. It's also conveniently located for trips to Panlong Ancient Road and Khunjerab Pass. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Tashkurgan!!!!!

The hotel is quite large, and at first glance, it gives off a five-star vibe. The room is spacious, and the decor is clearly well-thought-out. The style is very modern and trendy, and the materials used are all of good quality. The hairdryer is similar to a Laifen (and works great!). They even provide latex pillows by default (which is a huge plus!). However, the cleanliness isn't up to par (a common issue in Xinjiang hotels). You can clearly see stains. They have two robots that deliver food, and when they arrive at your door, there's an automatic voice reminder in the room. The breakfast spread is also good, with a wide variety of options. ⚠️ The only thing that really drags it down is that the rooms aren't smoke-free. One day, when I left my room, the hallway reeked of smoke. I'm not sure which room it was coming from, but it immediately dropped my perception of the hotel down to a 3-star level. 🤦‍♂️

Booked two rooms here. Originally, we planned to stay in Fuyun because we were going to Tianchi the next day. However, since we'd already made it all the way to Urumqi, we decided to stay for a night and explore. We booked this hotel last minute. It's very close to the Grand Bazaar, about an 8-10 minute walk, and the area around it is bustling with activity. Finding food is super convenient; there are restaurants and a small mall downstairs. The price was a bit on the higher side, but the great location makes up for it! It really depends on what you're looking for.

The room was very clean and well-maintained, feeling quite premium, and the service was excellent. Right next door, Elijiang Cuisine offers authentic local food, and the fruit market nearby has incredibly cheap fruit, just 2 RMB a jin! You can totally indulge in roasted buns, naan, fruits, Xinjiang lamb skewers, and Da Pan Ji (big plate chicken) to your heart's content. The location is fantastic, and I'll definitely stay here again next time. Plus, with police on duty 24/7, it feels very safe!

I highly recommend the Modern Four Seasons Hotel! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – I slept soundly until morning. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and very efficient. The location is convenient. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

The new room was much more spacious, with better lighting and views. The hotel itself is very new and spotlessly clean. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. All the amenities were comprehensive, and transportation was convenient. The staff were gentle and patient, and check-in was efficient and swift. The value for money is absolutely outstanding. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!

The location isn't downtown, but the surroundings are nice. Staying in a tent room is an experience, but the main issue is the complete lack of soundproofing – it is, after all, a tent. So, cleanliness is just barely acceptable. My biggest complaint: each room has a table sprayed with very cheap paint. The smell, especially under the scorching sun, was unbearable! The entire room reeked of paint fumes. Breakfast was truly disappointing. The funniest part was that all guests had to use tiny saucers for their food. Don't they want to buy proper plates? The tables and chairs in the central courtyard were a mess; there were five different styles of chairs alone, giving it a very haphazard feel. What deserves praise, especially when compared to the overall unprofessional management, are the front desk service and the luggage porter! Their service was thoughtful and genuine. And the scenery is also very good! To add: the night view of the courtyard in the hotel's main picture is clearly Photoshopped; the reality is quite underwhelming.

Breakfast was sufficient and satisfying. It would be nice if they could also offer juice. We made up our own room, but it was not properly cleaned at first—maybe because the hotel was fully booked. However, the cleaners were quite helpful and responsive when we asked for assistance. They also have a laundry room, which was very convenient for families. I just wish they had a small playroom for kids, as that would make the stay even better for families with children.

Since it is a Mercure chain, the facilities and cleanliness were good, but the next morning, when I asked to call a taxi to go to the bus terminal, they pointed to a road with many taxis and told me to catch one myself, which was a bit awkward for a foreigner. Furthermore, it was different from Beijing time, so even though it was past 8 in the morning, I couldn't see the taxi, which made me feel a little anxious for a while... They lacked a proactive service mindset.
