Good room with affordable price. Situated near mini mart and restaurant with walking distance. Have basement parking for car and motorcycle with security guard at night. Nice hotel lobby with cosy design to relax and have a rest for a while.

This is my second time staying in Parkroyal Penang, everything was fine, except the bathroom water trap, shower half way the water stucked there, I think the housekeeping should clean the trap for a regular basis to avoid it to happens. Breakfast session was quite crowded although it was not holiday season, foods was average, there are plenty more can be improved. I personally like the beach very much especially on sunset. I will definitely be back again in near future.

Room is clean, quiet and comfy. Location is just adjacent to the New Lane night street foods, also is within 15 min walk to komtar/mall/Chowrasta Market. Other than that, one will need to take buses to reach major tourist attractions.

Easy to get to anywhere as its located in the central of the Penang island, lots of good food and local hawkers can be easily access from the hotel location. have great view of the Komtar tower and the city of light, beautiful and stunning. although its a refurbished building, but it has been very well kept and maintained. Maybe the facility floor of the swimming pool and the bar, might have rooms for improvement. The swimming pool looks very old, despite the taste of infinity pool, doesnt match the 4stars hotel standard, and the bar looks like a local bar with no proper standard. We shall look into the standard of St Giles is other states or country.

This is my first experience of having to wait 1 hour for check-in a hotel. Check-in was supposed to be at 3pm but we arrived in Penang at 7pm, we expected the hotel room to be available so we could check-in straight away, but unfortunately our room is still not available. We are very grateful to a female receptionist (wearing a hijab) who was willing to solve this problem within 15 minutes compared to the first male receptionist who made us wait for almost 1 hour to check in. I'm sorry for throwing a tantrum at the counter because we have to wait a long time to follow, we're really tired from traveling so far. The hotel has offered 8 free breakfast sets as a sign of apology for our loss of 5 hours to check-in. Thank you again for the efforts of the reception girl. The hotel is very comfortable and the food is very good, the only mistake was the moment we checked in. I hope I won't have this kind of check-in experience again. Thank you

Bunyi tapak kaki lari2, bunyi alih2 perabut and bunyi non stop smpai rasa takut mcm2 bunyi ada tp husb ckp buat tak tau je....but second night ok..

Only stayed for 2 nights as a single person, but in a 2 person twin room. If 2 people are there, it will definitely be tight since there will be little space for luggage/bags and to move around. The beds can be moved slightly, so it gives some more space. Also, the mattress is not sturdy on the frame, so it can shift while sleeping. Otherwise, the room was good with standard amenities. The unique door to close the washroom is also the door for the closet, I assume that was to optimize space. Water refill and ironing station in the hallway (apparently outlets in the hallway were broken, so staff let me iron in the room). Slippers, washroom items, etc... all standard. The front desk mentioned room service was one every two days, but can be requested at the front desk if you need anything. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when coming from PEN late due to flight delay. Otherwise, the location was extremely convenient since it was just parallel street to 1st Avenue Shopping Mall, which link connects with Prangin Mall, the TOPs and Kimberly Street (for night market). Just on the other side of the street are a lot of local restaurants that were popular/queues up for their food. Also, can have easy access to myRapid Penang at Komtar for airport OR CAT to Jetty for Feri. Overall, good location convenience and value for night sleep/exploring Georgetown area.

Location of this hotel is very good. Gurney Paragon mall, Gurney Plaza, Coco Island and hawker foods are within walking distance. We like the night market which took us 8-10 mins walk from hotel. Also Penang Hill, George town art street, Penang Road Famous Laksa and Moh Teng Pheow Nyonya Koay are nearby. Cleanliness also good and staffs are friendly too. Recommend to stay here.

The hotel is very old located in the center of George Twon closer to seaside. I have booked family room. Space and lay out is ok but 2 issues, 1 the inner parents room has a large empty space by the window (seaview the say but hardly seeing tho) we were puzzled why no pair of sofa chairs with a tea table, what is this space for? Super odd... 2 the connecting door for two rooms doesn't close well, not saying the lock doesn't work, no no, the door can't even able to be fully shut. Services is almost zero. Don't count on it. All in all besides the location and fact has family room options, I don't have anything else to write home about this hotel. Oh and the sound proof is zero too, not saying between our 2 rooms. I basically had bad sleep whole 4 nights stay cos outside in the hall almost never stopped having doors open/shutting and people loudly talking/walking by noises... Won't book again.

Reception staff was friendly. We were able to check in early around 10.45am as the Deluxe Suite we booked for 4N was available. Requested late check out was also approved at 12 noon as our flight was late afternoon. View from the top was beautiful & the skybar level was accessible after 6.30pm. There was conplimentary shuttle bus for famous breakfast areas at 8.30am, 9.15am & 10am. We managed to prebook 2 slots for 1 day only to Chowrasta Market. The next day 8.30am time slot was full (12 seats only) so we took Grab instead. Not expensive at RM8 to Kimberly Street. Pillow selection-1 per guest is a nice touch. Had the memory foam pillow for a good night sleep. Some free local snacks from the hotel was a nice gesture. Location of fairly new hotel (year 2022) is excellent. 2 supermarkets nearby (Gama) - the side walk with pretty bougainvilleas is pleasant, Pacific Hypermart at Komtar. Nearby got Japanese restaurant along Magazine Road & also massage places too. Overall, a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. Only negative is noise from traffic so room facing is impt for light sleepers

Gambar kedai ni, betul2 tepi hotel ni. I am booking for room for no windows and 1 queen bed. Room condition is clean and tidy. Is just no TV. For television, playroom for kids, iron board is provided on floor 2 specific room near lobby hall.

Bayfront Beach Resort was a wonderful getaway! The beachfront location was perfect for relaxing, with stunning ocean views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The food at the resort was delicious, especially the fresh seafood. The pool area was also a great place to unwind. Customer service was top notch, very friendly staff. Special thanks to Ember who helped to change our room nearer to the lift as our elderly folks are not able to walk far. Breakfast was superb, lots of variety. Bed was comfy, we had lovely snooze. They even have a kids club where your kids can spend some time playing in there - a rare feature even among 5 stars hotel nowadays. Swimming pool is shaded by the hotel building in the morning so we could swim till noon and don't even feel any heat from the sun, but the opposite happens during the evening where the sun is fully blazing down on the pool. We went during the weekdays so there were less people but during weekends, you could barely swim around. Now on the not-so-good things - the car park is all stairs, no ramp, totally not friendly to the elderly and had to carry my luggage through the stairs. And you still need to pay RM 3 per day for it!! The hotel is across the road from the beach so you have to walk across a bridge and a deep long stairs down to get to the beach and it is quite dangerous, esp for kids and elderly people. All in all, we enjoyed our time there but there are many better hotels around Batu Ferringi.

We had a great stay at this hotel, and I would especially recommend it for families with kids. The facilities are well-suited for children, and the overall atmosphere is very family-friendly. The restaurants serve delicious food with a good variety of options, and the rooms are clean & comfortable. However, one thing to keep in mind is the location. While it’s a great place to relax, it is quite far from the airport and also Georgetown, which might be a drawback if you’re planning to explore the city’s main tourist attractions. That said, if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with good food and a clean, family-friendly environment, this hotel is a great choice!

Great stay, service wise is alright but I don't feel much interaction from the staffs. The service at the restaurant is excellent, though. The dipping tub at the balcony, however, is not usable as the drain plug is leaking. The fabric chair and sofa is also stained, leaving it less than desirable although still usable.

This is my 6th or 7th time coming to Rasa Sayang. Been coming since 11 or 12 years ago. It still has the same vibes. I think its time to upgrade the hotel. You can feel the rooms are starting to get old. Yes, the hospitality is amazing but for the price that we pay, its time for another refurbish.
