I recently had a delightful stay at Hotel Tentrem in Semarang, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, and their attentiveness truly enhanced our experience.
The cleanliness of the rooms and restrooms was impressive, which is always a top priority for me when traveling. The hotel amenities, including the gym, were excellent and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
One of the highlights for me was the delicious breakfast spread. The variety was fantastic, and the quality of the food was outstanding. I also want to give a special shoutout to Ibuk Elfi for her warm hospitality during breakfast. Her cheerful demeanor made our mornings even more enjoyable.
As a coffee lover, I was particularly impressed by the skills of Mas Arafi, the barista. I thoroughly enjoyed the cappuccino, mocaccino, and café latte he prepared; each cup was a treat. His knowledge of coffee truly shines through in every sip.
Overall, my experience at Hotel Tentrem was wonderful, and I look forward to returning each year. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special
Friendly Regards,
Danny Hariyanto !
🏨 Truth Review Stay at Artotel Leguna Magelang (3– 5 March 2026)
i stayed at artotel leguna magelang from march 3rd to march 5th of 2026 because there was an event at university of محمد iyah magelang on march 3rd and 4th. the location is quite strategic and it makes me easy to move to the campus,so it is not too tired to go back and forth.
originally i ordered a standard room with 1 large bed, including sahur 2 pax.************can free upgrade to superior room,so the room feels more relieved and comfortable. the room is clean, tidy, and it is good to rest after a busy day of activities.the bed is soft and makes you sleep better.
what i like the most, from the room you can see the mountain view 🌄 the atmosphere is quiet and cool, especially in the morning.it’s really good to recharge the energy before continuing to activities.
about service,i think the team is friendly and responsive:
Morning, Ms. Risty and Mas Aga helped
In the afternoon, Mas Bangkit, Ms. Sheila and Ms. Nayra.
Mas Fino helped at night
Everything was helpful and communicative. If anything I needed, the response was quick and not complicated. It felt well served, not just formalities.
For housekeeping, I was helped Mas Dani. The room was always clean and well kept during my stay.
for sahur is served in buffet in the restaurant.although there are not too many choices,it is enough, the taste is good, and it is well prepared and timely.so there is no need to worry about staying during the puasa month.
Overall, I was satisfied and felt comfortable during my stay here. Suitable for those with activities in Magelang, both campus events, work, and just a staycation with a quiet atmosphere and mountain view.
if you go to magelang again,i don’t mind staying here again 👍
The location is really strategic. The room is big for 2 people. The receptionist is totally helpful, especially when i need late check-out. I would come back to stay at this hotel when I come to Solo again!
I came during high season so maybe the cleaning staff wasn't very detailed (we found popcorn at floor and some stain at bed sheet). I complained and the staff handle it very well.
However this hotel located at strategic place so near from central city.
The hotel is connected to a mall, so it's very helpful for families with children (I brought a 1-year-old baby) if there are baby items that we forgot to bring from home. We can buy them at the mall.
Breakfast is complete but maybe if they have ”nasi tim” it will be perfect.
(In this case because my baby cant eat rice yet)
Thank you Po Hotel
A quiet hotel that is comfortable for resting after a day of work
Quite comfortable hotel
Good service
During sahur fasting, the menu is a bit lacking in variety
Perfect for families — the room is spacious and clean, ideal for bringing a baby. The service is also great, even when we requested additional cleaning after our baby's complementary food (MPASI) got messy and spilled on the floor. The price is also quite satisfying. Keep up the good work!

Very Good
Amazing views, great sleep. Staff very friendly and helpful
Rezt Hotel Semarang is a great budget-friendly stay in a strategic location. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, perfect for a short trip. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It’s close to food spots and easy to access from the city center. A solid choice for travelers looking for a simple, clean, and affordable place in Semarang.
Honest review.. stay with the expectation of a 5-star hotel, but the experience is not comparable to the price. The lobby and check-in process are quite good, the welcome drink is refreshing, and the concierge helpfully carried the luggage. Basement parking is also relatively easy. Unfortunately, many important details reduce comfort. The door of the room does not have a stopper so it is often slammed loud and noisy. Soundproofing was not good, the sound from the next room was still heard. The room size is relatively small for the standard 5-star, and there is no minibar at all, even a paid one. For mineral water, use plastic bottles, not the premium ones with glass bottles. The lighting system was confusing and the bathroom lighting was too dim. There are 4 elevators but it is very slow.. there is often a buildup of guests. The pool area is also less well-organized such as having no concept and not weather-friendly because there is no shaded area. It's ridiculous, having to pay an extra 200rb for access to the whirlpool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was a disappointment: the menu options were less varied, the taste was standard, and the service was less warm (officers lacked smiles). Overall, I wouldn't really mind these things if the room price wasn't this muc, but with a rate above Rp 2 million per night, this experience is less worth it. Compared to 5-star hotels in Jogja and its surroundings, it is still quite far behind.
I booked two rooms for my friend and family and for myself. Superb rooms. Very spacious. Value for Money. All facilities are included. Nice swimming pool. Amazing breakfast and restaurant staff. Very kind and polite. Supportive pleasant front desk staff and security staff. Elavita front desk officer is very good. She gave full support to book my 2nd room. I feel sad I couldn't stay more days because of back to Jakartha. Lovely pleasant stay. Do not go anywhere. Specially don't book Redoorz hotels. They are scamers. Book this anybody want to go to Purbalingga. Redoorz scamed me
Away from the hustle and bustle of yogya. Being in the city can be overwhelming, hence this location is just right, surrounded by nature - birds, clouds and an amazing view. The location is super interesting because the car has to go through so many winds through the village. If U take a morning jeep tour, the jeep will fetch U from the villa with the car top exposed and you can feel the wind in your hair, absorbing the peace from th village and fresh air. They also have a massage, quite expensive but worth it at 450,000 idr per hour. The geckos can be loud at night but that's nature. They have an amazing pool that oversees borobodur and Yogyakarta. The villa door has some ants but I think it's because of the wood? The junior room suite villa roof feels a bit hollow because we can hear the birds jumping and squawking on top of it in the early evening. Food is not fantastic, especially their breakfast. But since they locally produce long beans, try their long beans. It's crunchy and fresh. Their grilled ayam chicken rice is good too. Their sambal, however, is a must try. Fresh, spicy, tangy! At night, you can hear adzan, which is call for prayer, across the whole of Yogyakarta. An amazing and holy experience.
