I stayed at Appart’ City for 3 nights. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are modern and clean. The only downside I found to the room is the slippery shower/bathtub. Breakfast spread isn’t big, but the quality is excellent with products coming from local farms. I will definitely stay there again next time.
Looking at the evaluation, I feel very good, the chain is still very trustworthy, the European line basically lives in Mercure, very good, stable quality. This is the best breakfast I have ever stayed in, with a wide variety. The parking lot is large and parking is convenient.

Pullman Lyon is a relatively new hotel. Had a great stay and I had a train to catch on Jan 1 2025 morning, Lyon Part Dieu station to Paris is literally 1 min walk! So very convenient if you don’t want to be late for your onward journey. I got to Pullman from another hotel on an Uber, and there were still constructions and a pro tip to to take Taxi rather than Uber if you’ve luggages because Ubers aren’t allowed into the hotel zone. It’s only for bus and taxis. I wish Pullman had large signage’s to get to their hotel because the entrance is being blocked by the construction. The hotel should have a big Pullman on thier building on all sides like the Radisson Blu nearby it so that people can easily spot it.
The front desk Marie was lovely! All those at reception and concierge spoke great English and were very helpful in helping me call for a taxi and giving me ideas on where to go for dinner on 31 Dec as I had not made any reservations.
The hotel room is big and roomy, with lots of space for luggages. I got a room for handicap access so the shower and toilet areas were joined tgt. The rain shower was great in keeping the floor dry.
I’ll def choose this hotel in future visits if I have an early train to catch in Lyon. It’s in good distance to Westfield shopping mall and it’s a mega big mall with heaps of shopping, dining, supermarket options!
A chain of express hotels, suitable for resting on the way from Paris to the south of France. The parking lot is large and free. The breakfast is average and filling.
A good hostel, very cramped of course in the room, but everything you need is there, though for a couple of days, the location is good, there is a tram stop nearby, IKEA Leroy stores, there are grocery stores, there is a Burger King and Mac!
The hotel is a different hotel, although it is a formula 1, because the toilets and the shower are inside the room, which is one more. The room is a little small but well-organised. The heating is perfect. It's a bad thing that there is little light inside and only a small window.
The only concern of this hotel is that the parking is too small.
There is a T2 light rail station next to it. It is very convenient for self-driving to park your car here and then go to the city, so as to avoid being fined for not having an environmental protection sticker. The cookie is the best at DoubleTree I've ever been to. It seems that French desserts are actually good.

RRajan TrivediExceptional Stay at Chalet Hotel in Chamonix!
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Chalet Hotel in Chamonix, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the Alps! From the moment I arrived, the warm and attentive staff made me feel welcome and ensured that every detail of my stay was perfect.
Location: The hotel is ideally situated with stunning views of Mont Blanc and easy access to the town and ski lifts. Whether you’re there for skiing, hiking, or simply soaking in the beauty of the mountains, the location couldn’t be better.
Rooms: My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and featured a cozy alpine style with modern amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the balcony offered breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The housekeeping staff kept everything spotless, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
Dining: The food was fantastic! Breakfast each morning was a generous spread with a variety of fresh options, from pastries to local cheeses and fruits. I also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the gourmet meals exceeded my expectations. The chef does an excellent job incorporating local ingredients into traditional dishes, all with a contemporary twist.
Facilities: The hotel spa is a hidden gem—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring or skiing. The sauna and hot tub were wonderful, and the massage I had was the best I’ve had in a long time. They also have a great lounge area with a fireplace, perfect for unwinding with a book or enjoying a drink in the evening.
Service: The staff were incredibly attentive and always ready to assist with any request, whether it was booking excursions, providing local recommendations, or simply ensuring that everything ran smoothly during my stay.
Bonus tip: The best Indian restaurant is walkable distance (400 meters) from the hotel - Annapurna 2. Must visit 😉
Overall, Chalet Hotel in Chamonix combines luxurious comfort with the charm of an authentic alpine retreat. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and top-notch service. I can’t wait to return!

GGuest UserWhat I like most about the hotel is that the towels are soft and the toiletries are also good! And the view at 6 o'clock in the morning! Because I don't know how to use the blackout curtains, I need to adjust them, and the curtains can't block out the light. I think the carpet is a bit old. Although there is no odor in the room, the corridor, door and carpet are all old styles. I didn't live very comfortably. Although the quilt and bed are very comfortable, I always feel a little gloomy. The waiter is very good! The minibar is free to use, and there is a 14-hour room service. It is not suitable for long-term stay.

VVenosThe hotel is overlooking Annecy's lake. At it's front door, it seems like we are way deep in the forest and yet we were barely 10 minutes away from the city. The staff is very sweet and professional. We are travelling with our 1 year old he got cute attention from the team at breakfast. Feeling that the hole family is included is priceless. These 2 nights were welcomed rest and relaxation. Thank you to all the staff members that made this gateway a pleasurable one for us!
BBenjaminThis hotel is a very pleasant surprise. It was my first visit to Annecy. We stayed here for 5 nights. There is an affordable public parking garage connected to the hotel. The hotel is within just a few minutes walk to the old-town of Annecy where there are plenty of shops, cafes, and restaurants. And on certain days of the week, there is a massive farmers' market right behind the hotel, and it stretches all the way to the town center. Excellent cafes, and boulangeries are all within 2-3 minutes of the hotel. We would certainly stay at this hotel again in our next trip to the area. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, and some have balconies. We got 2 rooms, one with a balcony, although they are the same price. The guests are quiet, even though it was pretty full when we stayed.
PPoodleOBaileyThe Intercontinental Lyon - Hotel Dieu is a remarkable hotel that has been transformed from a historical hospital, adding a unique charm to its ambiance. Despite its origins, the rooms have a modern design and do not bear any resemblance to a hospital setting. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are super comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The bathrooms are beautifully appointed, contributing to the overall luxury of the hotel. The views from the rooms, facing the river, are breathtaking. The breakfast served in the garden is a must-try, providing a delightful start to the day. Additionally, the hotel's central location is excellent, making it convenient for exploring the city.
GGuest UserI rarely leave negative reviews, but this booking was very disappointing and quite uncomfortable. Although the location was good and the room was clean, we did not look forward to returning to the hotel each night and I would not consider staying here again. The room felt dark and claustrophobic and did not even have drawers big enough to put clothes in. For those wanting to work at the little desk, the chair and limited electricity outlets would have made it very difficult. Although we chose not to have the breakfast, the patio seemed nice. The lobby barely had space to stand in. Although I have learned that the French star system is quite basic, note that in many parts of the world, this would never be considered a four star hotel.
