Checked in on May 1st, and the prices were already soaring! We stayed in a Mountain View King Room on the third floor. Since it was just two adults with no luggage, the third floor was perfect – quiet, great views, and came with a balcony and a bathtub. The environment was really nice. Honestly, the stay exceeded my expectations. The surroundings are so pleasant, like a huge botanical garden. The shuttle carts prioritize picking up and dropping off guests. All the facilities are family-friendly, like the toiletries and slippers. The only minor thing was that the hot water took a little while to come through. In the morning, we were first in line at Lumingxuan and had breakfast with the giraffes – truly an unforgettable memory!

Xitang Yuanzhu Hotel: A Poetic Jiangnan Escape, Straight Out of Vincent Fang's Lyrics Amidst the misty rain of Xitang, where gondolas gently drift, lies Xitang Yuanzhu Hotel – a poetic haven favored by Vincent Fang, nestled in this ancient town that embodies all the tenderness of Jiangnan. It’s an artistic sanctuary hidden within the everyday hustle and bustle. When lyricist Vincent Fang stepped into Xitang, he chose Yuanzhu as his abode, weaving the misty allure and classic black-tiled, white-walled scenery of Jiangnan into his exquisitely crafted lyrics. He once said, “Architecture is the temperament of a city,” and Yuanzhu truly serves as Xitang's most distinctive and stylish emblem. It encapsulates the graceful charm of Jiangnan and radiates artistic vibrancy, allowing every guest to grasp the poetry hidden within Xitang's daily life. Hidden away in a core, secluded area of Xitang Ancient Town, adjacent to the Misty Rain Corridor, Yuanzhu offers an immediate escape from the clamor of the world. Yet, a turn of the head brings you back to embrace the lively atmosphere of the ancient town. The hotel was meticulously designed by a master landscape artist, who eschewed elaborate ornamentation, opting instead for minimalist 'blank space' to define its artistic texture. Pure white corridors gracefully stretch and curve, while arched doorways naturally exude a romantic ambiance. As light and shadow dance, they trace the gentle contours unique to Jiangnan, making every snapshot a stunning, atmospheric masterpiece – recreating the poetic backdrops Vincent Fang himself captured. Stepping inside, Eastern antiquity blends seamlessly with modern art. The white walls and dark tiles continue the rustic charm of Jiangnan water towns, while innovative designs like the stargazing terrace, sky garden, and Monet's Window infuse this antiquity with a unique romance. The serene tea room invites you to savor a cup of tea while watching rain patter on banana leaves outside the window. From the viewing terrace, you can admire a sky full of stars and listen to the ancient town's evening breeze whisper. The elegant guest rooms offer ultimate comfort and delicate touches, with private courtyards and tatami bathtubs – every detail thoughtfully designed to allow your body and mind to truly relax within the gentle embrace of Jiangnan. This is where Vincent Fang found his creative inspiration. The chivalrous tenderness of “Red Dust Inn” and the romantic wistfulness of “Waiting for the Misty Rain in Azure” (天青色等烟雨) seem to be palpable in every breath and corner of Yuanzhu. Staying here means sleeping in the rooms where a celebrated talent slept, seeing the landscapes he saw, walking on the bluestone paths, and wandering through the Misty Rain Corridor. It’s an immersive experience of Jiangnan water towns' spiritual beauty, a rendezvous with the ink-wash Jiangnan described in poetry. There's no need to travel far or seek distant lands. Come to Xitang Yuanzhu Hotel, live within the Jiangnan artistic conception penned by Vincent Fang. Amidst the white walls and dark tiles, in the interplay of light and shadow, encounter an unexpected poetry and beauty. Let time slow down, let your heart find peace, and unlock your own slow pace of life in Jiangnan. Come to Xitang, fulfill your appointment with Yuanzhu, meet Vincent Fang's poetic spirit, admire the misty rain of Jiangnan together, and quietly enjoy the tranquility of time.

This is the first time I've encountered front desk staff being so disrespectful during check-in. They were openly joking and messing around, completely ignoring whether I was speaking. It was so noisy that the woman checking me in couldn't hear me at all and had to awkwardly ask me to repeat myself over and over. I had to keep raising my voice just to be heard. The bathroom had very noticeable footprints, though the rest of the room was cleaned quite well.

I originally booked the Kuaiyuan building, but since there weren't two connecting rooms available, they upgraded me to a deluxe king room in the Fushan Yue building. Being in the new building, all the facilities were very modern and new, completely unlike an old hotel. The room itself was great overall; the only thing missing was a full-length mirror, which would have made it even better. The breakfast is in the main building and features a dedicated Shaoxing snack station. I particularly loved the preserved vegetable pancake – highly recommend it! For the travel photoshoot, only one person per room gets complimentary makeup and styling. Since we were traveling together, we paid an extra 180 RMB per person for additional styling. The makeup artist was quite skilled, and the light makeup looked beautiful with the Qipao. If I ever visit Shaoxing again, I'd definitely choose Shaoxing Hotel!

Facilities: The star room is set, but it is raining, so I didn't see the starry sky. I don't know if I can see the stars when it is sunny. The room is large, there are lounge chairs very comfortable, there are projectors and air conditioners, and the facilities are complete. Because it is a wooden structure, there will be a bit of wood in the house, but it is not exciting ~ Environment: There are many homestay options near the homestay. The location of smoke and Xia is relatively inside, but it is very good to call a car. It is close to the trail up the mountain. The scenery is very good. When it is a little rainy, the smoke is smoky. It is like a fairyland. It is surrounded by flowers, like a paradise. There are also small tables and chairs at the door. You can drink a little wine at night. It is very pleasant. There are many film cameras in the lobby. The boss is also proficient in this way. Speaking of the camera, I can see the love of our camera. Our camera can't export photos, and the boss is also very patient to help us solve it! thank you very much. Hygienic: The shower water is very good, the towels are soft and comfortable, the slippers also have a drying shelf, the shampoo and shower gel accessories taste very good, it is a fresh taste ~ Service: The service is the most commendable place. The boss helps carry the box throughout the whole process. He will remind you to go up and down the stairs at night to make a little noise. He must take care of other guests. It is very intimate! Breakfast is also very good, the taste of siu mai and buns is very good, this set is full of care, and the tone of the whole store is consistent. Because I went out early, the boss also specially packed breakfast for us on the road. All in all, it is very recommended, come back next time, in this era, every heart treatment is worth being treated well ~

Hotel near Siming Lake Resort,Yuyao 18.8% of visitors choose this area

Taking advantage of the holiday and family to Yuyao for a holiday, I chose this resort hotel located deep in Siming Mountain. The hotel has just opened this year, with a new Chinese-style decoration, elegant and high-end. The room facilities are very new, spacious and the spare parts are very comfortable. The hotel is located on the top of Siming Mountain, so the scenery is invincible, the top of the mountain infinity pool, cliff coffee, are all filmed. In addition, the service of the hotel is worthy of praise. Whether it is the hotel manager or the service staff of the restaurant, it can be seen that the hotel is operating with care. The service is very intimate and meticulous. It is not comparable to the general net red hotel. It gives people a very comfortable stay. I will come to experience it with my family next time.

I booked a one-bedroom villa, and my butler Lucy gave me a free upgrade to a two-bedroom villa. The moment I walked in, it felt so grand! There's a hot spring pool outside on the basement level. The staff disinfected the pool and filled it with hot spring water beforehand, so I didn't have to do anything. Lucy, the butler, is beautiful and has an excellent service attitude. The next day, she even asked if I slept well and if I was comfortable, telling me to contact her anytime if I had any issues. The area around the villa is quiet and surrounded by lush greenery. Someone comes to clean every day, and all the staff are friendly. Next time, I'd like to book a sea-view room for a different experience.

CCeciliaOverall, it was good and felt like a home away from home. There are no twin-bed rooms with full lake views, so we had to book a partial lake view room. The air conditioning in the room seemed a bit weak; even in May, we had to set it to maximum fan speed and the lowest temperature to feel comfortable. I wonder how it will cope in the peak summer. The breakfast restaurant's food quality and service need some improvement. The waitstaff looked unhappy, as if they were dreading their shift. Although the restaurant opens at 7 AM, steamed dim sum wasn't brought out until 7:20 AM. Guests who had to catch early trains couldn't enjoy hot buns and coarse grains. The coffee machine was broken, and the mini wontons were overcooked. I hope breakfast can be more diverse and less formulaic, so guests staying two nights or more can try different dishes each day.

GGuest UserThe room was nice and very clean, but the TV couldn't screen mirror, so it felt a bit lacking in smart features. The three meals overall were decent, with a good variety of ingredients, not just an afterthought. Here are a couple of things that weren't great about the dining experience: 1. The BBQ area was a pretty bad experience. A large group of people were queuing, and by the time it was your turn, the food might be gone – and this wasn't even a holiday! The chef was grilling on-site, and perhaps due to the heavy workload with so many people, he constantly had a sour expression. 2. I asked the lady at the noodle station three times if there were any more chicken feet next to her, and she just ignored me! *Sigh*.

MM702023****A big thank you to the butler and hotel staff! From the delightful room upgrade upon check-in to the thoughtful and attentive butler service throughout our stay, every detail made us feel incredibly welcome. The butler was both professional and friendly, always there when we needed something, yet also providing us with ample personal space—the service balance was just perfect. The hotel's location is also ideal for families; our child's highlight every day was visiting the squirrel park downstairs. Breakfast was delicious and the commute was convenient. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and look forward to our next visit!

GGuest UserTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed! We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving. One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home. Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

FFrequent.travelerExceptional hospitality – Felix went above and beyond I had another wonderful experience at this hotel. I decided to extend my stay for an extra night and went to reception, where Felix assisted me. He handled everything smoothly and made the process completely effortless. On my departure day, I realised I had left my room card and phone charger in the room after checking out. I went back to reception, and once again Felix was there to help. Without hesitation, he made me a new key card so I could go straight up and retrieve my belongings immediately. His quick thinking and willingness to help turned a stressful moment into a non-issue. Felix truly embodies what great hospitality looks like – professional, proactive, and genuinely caring. The hotel is lucky to have him. I’ll definitely be returning.

LluckydoyThe rooms and beds were quite spacious, but nothing really wowed me. Let me mention a few things I wasn't happy with. The so-called 'kids' paradise' at this family hotel was just a tiny inflatable bouncy castle – quite a letdown. The towels and bath towels were a bit old. In one room, there were only a few tissues left in the box. I'd specifically requested a non-smoking room, but one of the rooms had a distinct smoke smell upon entering. Also, I'm not sure if the booking deposit was collected by the hotel or the platform. Firstly, they charged the room fee again during check-in, plus a security deposit. Secondly, after checking out at noon, the booking deposit wasn't returned until I chased them for it in the afternoon.

GGuest UserThis hotel boasts an excellent location in Hangzhou's Qianjiang New City, offering convenient access to transportation with a subway station right next door, making getting around incredibly easy. There are also plenty of shopping and dining options nearby, perfect for both leisure and business travelers. The hotel is surrounded by a quiet environment with beautiful scenery, and the Qiantang River view is particularly captivating. The lobby, situated on the 44th floor, provides expansive views, and you can even enjoy a light show at night. The overall design of the environment is novel and unique.

GGuest UserMy family saw an ad for Dayuan Ark earlier and booked a deluxe king room for a day before it opened. The price was much more affordable than it is now. The resort is very accessible; self-driving is recommended. There are plenty of free parking spaces in the underground garage, which is a big plus. The room was a 55-square-meter king room, very spacious, though I didn't take any photos of it. The butler contacted us in advance and arranged a room with a great view. The large balcony overlooked the central water feature, as shown in picture 3. The room was well-equipped, the air conditioning was already on when we arrived, and there were welcome fruits. The drinks and snacks were also complimentary, which was a nice touch. There was a complimentary afternoon tea with drinks, some desserts, and fried snacks. The fried snacks were quite tasty; it was easy to eat too many. Currently, all activities at the resort are located on the B1 level. There's an indoor heated pool, gym, yoga, and many activities for children. I really enjoyed the video archery game; it was challenging. In the evening, there were also small 'chill night' activities offering various board games and drinks. Activity schedules were also available via a mini-program notification. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant. For two people, it cost 318 yuan. We ordered the pork jowl, which was delicious, and the variety of snacks was also quite rich. Honestly, everything we ate was very good; we both agreed on that. We woke up late the next day, and breakfast officially ended at 10 AM, but they actually started clearing up around 10:10 AM, which I thought was great. The breakfast offered a rich selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. The freshly made pan-fried dumplings, noodles, and omelets were all delicious. One suggestion: the fruit and other food items provided by the hotel were cut into very large pieces. I feel this makes it easy for guests to take too much, leading to some waste. It's a resort worth experiencing. It would be even more worthwhile to visit during the cooler seasons, like March or April, in the future.

NNik ParksWe had an amazing stay here. The apartment is light, spacious and airy. The bed is huge and really comfortable and the shower and bathroom are also lovely. Having a kitchen with utensils, hob and microwave meant we could cook in the evenings which is a huge plus. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was varied and tasty with some western options, fresh noodles and omelettes, fresh fruits and salads, bread, cheese, pastries and amazing coffee and fresh juices. We used the pool several times (remember your swim caps!) and it was large and really nice for a swim. The location is great. It's close to the West Lake area. We walked there and back which was about 45mins each way, but it's also very easy to jump in a Didi to venture further around to see the Tiger Springs or Nine Creeks and Misty Forest areas which are really beautiful. The staff were very helpful. We arrived a little early and they checked us in straight away and very promptly answered all my questions. We asked for a late check-out and we were generously accommodated which was an added bonus. Oh - and the lobby and hotel smell amazing too! We will 100% stay here again when we return to Hanghzhou and would highly recommend it to other travellers if you'd like some luxury alongside home comforts.
