VVvvv :)Our stay at Giraffe Manor was truly magical and unforgettable! 🦒💕 The location of our room was perfect — quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. It honestly felt like we were one-on-one with the wild, rather than staying in a typical hotel.
A very special thank you to our concierge, Yang, who deserves a special mention. We communicated with her throughout our entire stay through WeChat, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was always incredibly quick to respond, very polite, kind, and helpful with anything we needed. Having someone so attentive and reliable available whenever we had a question made our stay so much easier and more enjoyable. We truly appreciated all of her help and felt that she went above and beyond to make our trip extra special. ❤️
Breakfast with the giraffes was definitely one of the highlights of every morning. 🦒 Watching the giraffes and all the other animals living, exploring, and enjoying their surroundings was such a beautiful experience. It felt like we were simply guests in their world — observing them in their natural environment and becoming a small part of their space. This is definitely not a “behind-the-bars” type of zoo. The animals have so much freedom and space, which makes the experience feel incredibly special.
There are also so many things to do around the hotel. We received a bunch of coupons at check-in for different activities, which was a great bonus. There are a couple of restaurants nearby as well, serving great food, so there’s plenty to enjoy during your stay.
Our room was cleaned beautifully every day, and the car/cart service around the property was very convenient whenever we got tired of walking. Everything was well organized and made the whole experience comfortable and relaxing.
We’re so happy we chose to stay here. It’s one of those places that feels like a little fairytale and creates memories you’ll remember forever. And a huge thank you again to Yang for making our stay even more special! ❤️

GgeorgeshenThe hotel was fully booked on the day of our check-in, and we arrived over an hour early. Several staff members introduced us to various activities to pass the time, including a dedicated room for movies, board games, and a swimming pool. While waiting for our room, the service and amenities at InterContinental Danyang were exceptionally warm and thoughtful.
The room was a family lake-view suite, accommodating four people. The hotel's location, far from the central lake area, was incredibly tranquil, with no tourists by the lake. Away from city light pollution, we surprisingly saw the Milky Way on our first night, a rare sight in East China.
The swimming pool offered different children's activities daily. The botanical garden had a vast array of flowers and butterflies, along with a koi and swan pond where we could feed the fish. The hotel's two wings also featured a lighthouse and an observation deck.
The buffet dinner had everything we could ask for, and on Chinese Valentine's Day, they even gave out roses. The fish head dish at the Chinese restaurant was absolutely superb. Breakfast deserves special praise; despite the hotel being fully booked, we could order noodles via our phones, and the staff proactively asked about our coffee preferences. This is exactly the standard expected from an established InterContinental brand, and even with the summer crowd, the service and quality were uncompromised.
Finally, a special shout-out to our thoughtful butler, Emily. From the moment we checked in, she was incredibly attentive. On our last day, we had an early morning departure for a yacht in the central lake area. Without hesitation, Emily helped us arrange a late check-out, even during the busy summer season.
To be honest, when I heard that the InterContinental was being rebranded, I had some reservations, worrying about a potential drop in service. However, after staying here, I can confidently say that this is by far the best hotel in China, in terms of both quality and service, that we've stayed at with our child during the summer season. Both its hard and soft assets are top-notch, and its service easily rivals that of established luxury hotel brands. I rarely choose to stay at the same hotel twice in the same location, but InterContinental Danyang has made me eagerly anticipate my next visit.

GGuest UserI extended my stay because it was so good. The exquisite afternoon tea, as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are all highly recommended. The room was clean, hygienic, and free of any odors. Upon checkout, they even gave us a souvenir gift to eat in the car, which was very convenient. I especially love the Yiwu Jindou Hotel and will definitely come back again.

The hotel package price was very affordable, so I saw a lot of senior tour groups. It's located near a residential area, and attractions like Guzicheng require a drive. There are many restaurants nearby. Pets stay free. However, Yongsheng Shopping Plaza is still about a 30-minute walk away.
Location: Generally, it's near a residential area and a bit far from attractions (-0.7). Navigation was clear, and there's a convenient parking lot within the hotel grounds.
Hygiene: The bedding was clean, and the floors were tidy. They also offer to clean the room after you've woken up, which is quite thoughtful.
Service: The hotel front desk staff were very diligent. During check-in, they followed a standardized script and sent a detailed page of information via WeChat, including breakfast and Wi-Fi details. Their response time during my stay was also very fast. It would be even better if they could check reservation notes during check-in to provide the appropriate room type. However, the most annoying part of the service was receiving daily WeChat messages pressuring guests for 5-star reviews (-0.5).
Facilities: They have smart home features and well-equipped energy-saving devices, as well as accessible facilities. However, the smart toilet only had an automatic flush function (-0.2). Also, there were no screens on the windows, so opening them for ventilation could let in mosquitoes and other insects (-0.3).
Comfort: It has a budget hotel design. The room was a bit compact but generally clean. The soundproofing was a bit lacking (-0.2).
Dining: Breakfast is provided, including a noodle station. They also offer a great late-night snack service.
Bonus points: Late check-out available (+0.5). No room upgrade. Laundry room available (+0.5). Late-night snack service available (+0.5).
Minus points: People occasionally smoked in the ground floor lobby and were not stopped (-0.5).

GGuest UserThis hotel is great, Treasure Island theme, cabin style, very special; the whole villa is still under development, the concierge brother drove us to visit the whole mountain with a battery car, and patiently explained, the scenery is beautiful, if all the development is completed, it will definitely come back to see; The service here is absolutely five-star, from the front desk to the concierge to the restaurant, it feels absolutely at home. The view in the room is also very good, spacious enough, even the snacks and drinks prepared in the refrigerator are also very high-grade; breakfast is a luxury package, Chinese and Western combination, can not be finished at all.
This is one of the few hotels that have stayed in recent years.

The massive, floor-to-ceiling bookshelf instantly brings a sense of calm, which is especially welcome on a hot summer day. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, browse books, read, or simply have a moment of quiet reflection. Oh, and the owner even gave me a complimentary room upgrade, which was incredibly comfortable.

GGuest UserAfter comparing several hotels, I finally chose this one, and my stay confirmed that the location is indeed excellent! It's right next to District 2 and 3 of the Commercial City, and across the street, there are tons of eateries. There's also a convenience store right beside the hotel, making it super convenient for dining, staying, and shopping. The hotel is on a main road, so transportation is easily accessible, and it's very easy to catch a taxi. The room itself is spacious with a practical layout; you can even open your luggage without feeling cramped. The cleanliness was top-notch—desktops, wall corners, and bathroom edges were all spotless. The lighting was soft and pleasant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. It offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth it. A perfect stay without any unpleasant surprises, comfortable throughout. This hotel will be my first choice next time I visit Yiwu.

GGuest UserTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed!
We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving.
One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home.
Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff, from the entrance to the front desk, restaurant, and guest rooms, provided excellent service. The front desk even offered recommendations for local attractions, which was very helpful for planning our outings.
The rooms and tents were all spotlessly clean, making it a comfortable stay for both the elderly and children.
The large bed was soft and comfortable, the duvet thick and warm, and the toiletries had a smooth texture with a pleasant scent that rinsed off easily.
The complimentary vegetarian set meal was surprisingly delicious. The brown sugar peach gum dessert was generously portioned, with every bite full of peach gum, and just the right sweetness. The burdock hand roll had rich layers and a refreshing taste. The dipping sauce for the pan-fried dumplings was incredibly fragrant, and the red amaranth was tender and perfect with rice. The oranges at the buffet were fresh, sweet, and juicy, and the watermelon juice was very refreshing and great for beating the heat.
The hotel also provided free tickets to the Michelangelo Ice Cream Museum, which was amazing! There must have been hundreds of types and flavors of ice cream, and you could even try DIY ice cream making. It was a fantastic experience.
