A practical and efficient choice for business travelers cause the hotel is located in the industrial area. Its major advantage is the convenient 20-minute walk to Kwai Hing MTR station, perfect for travelers with light luggage. Service is standard —nothing exceptional. The room where i stayed was compact and clean.

The hotel is strategically located, making it very convenient for attending concerst at the Hong Kong Coliseum. Additionally, the Hung Hom bus station provides access to the A21 bus, which goes to Hong Kong Airport for a fare of 34.60HKD when using Octopus card. If you purchase an on-loan Octopus Card, you can process refund of the balance in your card at the airport departure hall, although a processing fee will be applied. Next door to the hotel is a shopping mall. The hotel also offers shuttle bus service to Middle Road in Tsim Sha Tsui exclusively for hotel guests. Be sure to check the bus schedule with front desk for availability. The breakfast is not varied, simple buffet breakfast. There is no coffee machines, only boiled coffee and tea. That's all. Thank you. :) Thank you.

The hotel's location is excellent! It's incredibly convenient for transportation, being close to the China Ferry Terminal, high-speed rail station, and MTR subway stations. Shopping is also a breeze with everything you could ask for at China Hong Kong City and Harbour City. Sightseeing is even easier – in about 5-10 minutes, you can walk through Harbour City to the Star Ferry Terminal and enjoy panoramic views of Victoria Harbour! The hotel also offers great value for money, and the service is attentive and efficient. My only suggestion for improvement: perhaps because it's a bit older, some of the room furnishings and decor feel a bit dated. I hope the hotel considers gradually updating the rooms to provide guests with an even more comfortable environment.

The hotel's location is excellent, right near the Hong Kong West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station. You can store your luggage if you arrive early, and they even allowed early check-in around 2 PM, which was a great service. There are restaurants and a supermarket nearby, making the facilities very convenient. The only minor drawback is that the beds are a bit narrower compared to mainland China, but given Hong Kong's limited space, that's understandable. Also, the hotel Wi-Fi often lags and fails to load content in the evenings once guests return. Overall, it was a very good experience and definitely worth recommending 👍

This is my go-to hotel every year I visit. The location is excellent, and while the facilities are a bit dated, the cleanliness is generally good. It's very quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. Overall, I have a positive impression. The surrounding area is incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and transportation. The famous Chungking Mansions, known from many Hong Kong films, is right next door, and Canton Road is also just a short walk away. For a Tsim Sha Tsui hotel, it offers exceptional value for money considering its room types and pricing!

For Hong Kong, where every inch is precious, the hotel room was surprisingly spacious. We had no problem opening up two suitcases. There's a mini-bar with complimentary drinks and a free toothbrush and toothpaste set. Our room was on the eighth floor with a direct view of Nathan Road below. Being a bit further from the elevator, the room was quite quiet. Getting around was very convenient; Jordan MTR Station exits D/E lead right to it. Our booking on Trip.com included the accommodation tax, and check-in was quick. There's a Mannings and a 7-Eleven nearby. It's also easy to get to Disneyland. We needed to exchange a bit of Hong Kong currency; we bought Jenny Bakery cookies at Mirador Mansion, and they only accepted cash. Most shops took WeChat Pay and Alipay. I initially used Alipay, but later found that WeChat Pay offered a better exchange rate. The hotel facilities are a bit dated; the lights need to be twisted manually to turn off, and the WiFi signal was just okay. Overall, it was still a good stay.

After 12 years, I returned to Hong Kong and stayed for 3 days. The Kowloon Shangri-La was by far the most satisfying hotel. Before booking, I debated between several hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui but ultimately chose the Kowloon Shangri-La, and it was definitely the right choice for this trip! The small details truly show the hotel's dedication and customer-first service philosophy. On my second day, which was my birthday, after checking in and resting in the room in the afternoon, I suddenly heard a knock at the door. I thought it was staff delivering toiletries for kids (which they did send later), but instead, I found staff with a cake and a birthday card for me. I was incredibly touched at that moment; it's so heartwarming to be remembered. Thank you, Shangri-La, for being so thoughtful! The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the Avenue of Stars, and right next to K11, making it convenient to get anywhere. After coming back to the room in the evening, I even found fresh fruit, which was such a thoughtful touch! I really wish I could have stayed longer, but I was leaving Hong Kong the next day. My only regret this time was not having a room with a Victoria Harbour view. Looking forward to my next visit!

I booked a corner sea-view room on the top floor for my proposal. The location is good, and the wine-opening service was appreciated. However, the service was disappointing. The hotel doesn't provide free drinking water, and this wasn't explained at check-in. While we later understood this might be due to government policy, it's not something tourists would typically know. Getting this information involved being bounced between Housekeeping and the Front Desk, with a poor attitude from the staff. The room also lacked essentials, requiring multiple calls to Housekeeping. The service needs significant improvement.

I recently spent three nights at Dorsett Kai Tak during a quick business trip mixed with some sightseeing, and it exceeded my expectations for a brand-new property in this up-and-coming neighborhood. The hotel's location in Kai Tak is spot-on—right next to the future sports park (perfect for event-goers) and just a short, complimentary shuttle ride away from AIRSIDE mall, which has fantastic shopping and dining options. It's about 20 minutes from Central by MTR, making it easy to hop around the city without the Tsim Sha Tsui crowds.Check-in was seamless, with friendly staff (shoutout to Gladys at the front desk for her quick tips on local spots). My room was modern and spotless, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning partial harbour views—woke up to the sunrise over Victoria Harbour every morning. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and amenities like the rain shower, Nespresso machine, and smart controls for lights/AC added that luxe touch without feeling over-the-top. Soundproofing was excellent; I didn't hear a peep from the hallway or nearby construction. The rooftop infinity pool is a highlight—serene with lounge chairs and those epic skyline views, though it was a bit chilly in October for a full swim. I loved the all-day restaurant Siete Ocho; the fusion Spanish-Sichuan dishes (try the spicy prawns) were flavorful and reasonably priced. The fitness center is compact but well-equipped, and the shuttle service ran like clockwork.A minor gripe: During peak event times nearby, traffic can snarl up the area, but the hotel's proactive updates via app helped. Overall, for the value (especially with the Genius discount), this is a fresh, vibrant spot that captures Kai Tak's rebirth as Hong Kong's cool new hub. I'd return in a heartbeat—highly recommend for modern comfort with a side of urban energy!

GGuest UserThe room is big enough for a solo traveler like me and the staffs are nice and helpful. Surprisingly, the hotel provided a free breakfast bar including a bun and a small cup of coffee. The only thing i concern about is that the bed were a bit dirty. There were some pink dirt spots on it which caused my skin allergy.

XXingguangyuanThe Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong is an absolute gem! The rooms are exceptionally spacious for Hong Kong, with soft and comfortable bedding. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning sea views, and you can even see the Tsing Ma Bridge lit up at night. The staff provides incredibly thoughtful service; they patiently answered all our questions and even proactively upgraded our room, which really enhanced our experience. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a private beach, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. The free WiFi signal is also super stable. Although it's a bit far from the city center, there's a shuttle bus directly to Tsuen Wan Station, and it's also very convenient to get to Disneyland. It offers excellent value for money and is definitely a top choice for family trips!

GGuest UserThe room was very spacious, equipped with a kitchenette and all the necessary dinnerware. The views were open and expansive. While the location might be a bit challenging for first-time visitors to Hong Kong, the hotel offers several complimentary shuttle services to and from Central daily. The Pedder Street shuttle stop is conveniently located at the bus station near Central MTR Exit D1. There's also a stop at IFC, but I haven't personally used it, so it's best to inquire with the hotel for specific boarding points. If you prefer taking public transport, from Admiralty Station Exit B, turn right for about ten meters onto Tamar Street, then turn right again and walk twenty meters to the bus stop for the 12A. It's only two stops to the hotel, at the 'YWCA' stop. From there, walk back about twenty meters to reach the hotel. When heading back to the hotel from Central, the 12A bus is also the best option. It will first go to Admiralty Bus Terminus and stop for a few minutes while the driver takes a break. You can simply wait on the bus; there's no need to purchase another ticket. I figured this out after staying for four days, as the 12A is a short circular route specifically designed for MacDonnell Road residents. Every time I queued at Admiralty, I'd see people already on board, leading me to conclude they had traveled from Central and were waiting to go up the hill back to MacDonnell Road.

GGuest UserSuper convenient from the airport! A big shuttle bus near the bus bay brought us comfortably to the hotel. The room is cosy and clean. It may be small but serve well as a 1-day hotel before moving to other part of Hong Kong.

SSvVBThe hotel is great, it looks amazing. The reception team are polite, knowledgeable, and willing to help (in my case, they helped me with a number of issues, and did it elegantly, quickly, and with a smile). The housekeeping are amazing and made me feel at home. Hygiene and cleanliness is a priority for them. Rooms are big enough, beds are comfortable, A/C and the shower work well. Lighting in the room is well thought through. The only tip for the traveller: if tea in paper sachets is not your thing, make sure you bring your own. It's not that big a deal, but I was happy I had my own favo with me, as I enjoyed a cuppa in my room in the evening and Lipton is not my kinda tea. As for location, I just loves my it: two minutes down the road is a tram stop for Kennedy Road, and it's cheap, enjoyable and will take you to the heart of HK in 15 minutes. 10-12 minute walk away is an MRT station Wan Chai that will also take you anywhere in the city. About 8 minute walk will take you to the Blue House and to a temple. There are enough restaurants, big, small, cheap, expensive and anything in between to give you an excellent culinary experience of HK. Besides the hotel's restaurant offers great deal too. In short, very much recommended!

11330273****The rooms here are spacious with modern amenities, including a capsule coffee machine and a microwave. The hotel is conveniently located near Shek Mun Station, with plenty of dining options in the vicinity. Shek Mun MTR also offers easy access to West Kowloon Station. It's a quiet retreat despite its bustling surroundings, and MTR access makes getting around a breeze. The front desk staff spoke excellent Mandarin and were very helpful. The price was affordable, and our two-night stay was very comfortable, offering great value for money. Highly satisfied and recommended! It had been a while since I last visited Hong Kong, and during this trip, after exploring for a few days, I found Mandarin widely spoken everywhere. Mobile payments for transport and shopping were also incredibly convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience!

KKc_cYFirst hotel I initially booked for 6 nights but upon arrival found out Agoda did not book my room which is a great inconvenience having to look for another hotel. But I managed to book via trip.com and stayed 3 nights, hotel receptionist lady is great providing me a room upgrade. One of the best hotel, big spacious and comfortable room which comes with a jacuzzi bathtub, with bathrobes, in-room iron, iron board, security safe, toiletries, all things I needed are available, is near to Jordan mtr just less than 2mins walk, single mtr line to mongkok, tst, admiralty/central stations, shops all nearby, western breakfast and food is delicious, plus there is a 24h self service laundry washer and dryer just outside the hotel, didn't try the gym which is in the Madare residence section in next building. Big 👍 for this hotel highly recommended.

SSuchaxThe hotel room is huge, AC is cold, no noises at night. The downside is that it’s a little far from TST and MTR (around 7-10 mins walk) but you can use shortcut through the park to TST. The staffs are very nice, they do room cleaning and give you new towels every day (we travel in 3 people and end up having 8 towels on check out day). The concierge is very helpful, we forget the luggage scale and we can borrow from them as well. Though the hotel is a bit too old and dated, you can see some tiny mold at the corner of bathroom, the carpet has lots of dust which isn’t good for people with allergies, and the elevators are too slow even though they have 2 sides of them but you’d wait forever during peak time. Overall 8/10 for me.

GGeltokThe service was very good, and check-in was fast. The location of the hotel is great—close to the bus and tram stations, and the subway is also nearby. There are six elevators, so even though our room was on a high floor, it was very quick and easy to get there. The staff were friendly and spoke English. The pool is very nice; it’s big enough for swimming, and the view from the pool is also quite good.
