The room is beautiful, with a stunning view, and the service is incredibly thoughtful. It truly lives up to its reputation as the world's top hotel. The breakfast spread is also very rich and diverse; slowly enjoying breakfast while overlooking Victoria Harbour is such a peaceful and wonderful experience!

The hotel's location is excellent, and you can drive right up to the spacious and uncrowded lobby entrance. Check-in was super smooth, and we even received welcome gifts! A lovely lady personally escorted us to our room and gave us a tour. The concierge was also great! They gave us gifts for the children and a special cake for our anniversary! Due to a minor hiccup, we even got a room upgrade. The hotel staff were all incredibly warm, professional, and had excellent service attitudes. We had a very satisfying stay! The Victoria Harbour view is amazing; the kids could stare at it all day!

It was incredibly convenient to get to the hotel right after taking the high-speed train from Kowloon! As soon as I arrived at the front desk, I was offered two cups of hot tea, which was a lovely, heartwarming touch. The girl who checked me in was professional, patient, and had a wonderful smile; she even proactively upgraded my room. The moment I entered the room and saw the Victoria Harbour view, it felt completely worth the price! The room was impeccably clean – even the ceiling air vents were free of dust and spiderwebs, with no overlooked corners. I had initially worried about the hotel being old given its age, but that concern was totally unfounded. Breakfast offered a wide variety, and enjoying it with the sea view was delightful! When checking out, I had a 4 PM high-speed train and thought it would be perfect if I could extend check-out until after 2 PM. This would allow me to go to Central in the morning, return for an afternoon nap, and then not have to rush back from Central to catch the train. After checking out at 2 PM, I could just stroll downstairs and head to the high-speed train station, making for a smoother route without backtracking. Unfortunately, the guy at the front desk wasn't as accommodating; after much discussion, he reluctantly extended check-out only until 1 PM. That was a bit of a disappointment. However, apart from that, the overall experience was still great and exceeded my expectations. I'm very satisfied and will definitely come back again.

Seriously unbeatable value for money! The complimentary HKD 800 dining credit was enough for a meal for both rooms, and surprisingly, the food was delicious and affordable. All the breakfast items are made to order, and the service was impeccable. There aren't many shops downstairs, so for meals, you either walk 10-15 minutes to the south side of Central, or walk to Central/Admiralty MTR stations, which also takes about 10 minutes – still quite convenient. The Peak Tram entrance is right outside. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. After staying two nights here, moving to the Sheraton in Tsim Sha Tsui felt like going to a village.

This hotel offers great value for money. The room was spacious, and the bathroom was very comfortable. Outside the window was a beautiful sea view. Kowloon Station is right downstairs, making it super convenient for the MTR, Airport Express, and high-speed rail. My only minor complaint is that the Evian water in the room was labeled ”drink to your heart's content,” but it cost HKD 85. Also, the bag in the room said ”feel free to take,” but it was HKD 100! 😂

Each time you living in Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, Each time they surprising you. I assumed the best harbor view at the Regent or Rosewood, even new Kimpton. But the Room503 is opposite to central Christmas tree, with both statue square and harbor view. It’s wonderful!! And also theirs employees are very very hospitality. I’m grateful for Miss River very much, who work for front desk(sorry her name is too long I can’t spell it), Rafa and her boss belong to in room dining department and Kevin who work for concierge. Happy new year and see you later.

Staying at The Peninsula Hong Kong is the ultimate journey into legend and unparalleled luxury. From the moment of arrival, the iconic white-uniformed doormen and the Rolls-Royce fleet immediately set an extraordinary tone. The Lobby's classic string quartet melodies resonate, where history and modern luxury intertwine. The guest rooms are a perfect blend of elegance and technology, with classic decor concealing a fully smart control system. A simple touch of the panel adjusts lighting, curtains, and air conditioning. The spacious and bright marble bathroom features a deep soaking tub by the window, allowing you to admire the dazzling Victoria Harbour night view while bathing. The service is nothing short of art; the staff possess an uncanny ability to anticipate needs. From accurately remembering guests' surnames to thoughtfully arranging itinerary details, their profound expertise is evident in every interaction. The Michelin-starred restaurants and classic afternoon tea are truly a feast for the senses. This isn't just a stay; it's an immersion into a timeless legend of luxury.

Had a fantastic stay! It was so peaceful, without any noisy crowds. I absolutely loved the elegant and understated decor. Both the Chinese and Western restaurants at the hotel are definitely worth trying. Breakfast was à la carte, with exquisite dishes and just the right portion sizes. Plus, there wasn't a constant stream of people walking around. Even though the restaurant isn't huge, everything was very well organized. All the hotel staff I encountered this time were incredibly nice, especially the housekeeping staff who were so warm and thoughtful. The gym staff and restaurant servers were also excellent. I'll definitely be staying here again!

A rather stylish boutique hotel. The 'lobby' and front desk on the ground floor were designed to be incredibly discreet, so much so that when I first arrived, I wondered if I'd come to the wrong place. However, stepping inside, I discovered a hidden gem. The architectural space is visually striking and full of design flair. The guest rooms are presented in a Japanese style, with minimalist and understated decor. The layout is ingenious and well-thought-out, and the entire room is well-maintained, showing no signs of age. The bathroom amenity kit thoughtfully included lip balm and a small makeup mirror, showing a better understanding of female guests' needs than even the Rosewood Hong Kong. Overall, the stay was comfortable and relaxing. Regarding service, the staff were warm and attentive, but there are two areas for improvement: firstly, if they could offer a glass of water or a drink to guests waiting to check in, it would be a more considerate touch; secondly, for turn-down service, if they could proactively remove the paper seal from the slippers instead of just placing them by the bed, the experience would be even more refined.

GGuest UserIt’s a very good hotel with friendly staff, and spacious given that it’s in Hong Kong 🤣 cleanliness is good too, although no disposable amenities and drinking water provided. Although you can take the water from lobby, but would prefer to have bottled water. Location is not exactly at the busy streets and do expect some walking to nearest convenience stores/metro station. Overall I’m satisfied with the hotel and will reconsider starting again.

AAnastassThank you for a wonderful stay. I had no problems here. The hotel is in a still good place where I can get a rest and enjoy an ocean view. This’s my second time and I hope not the last. There’re many different restaurants at the subway station and shops to explore. I’m into that area. Thanks.

GGuest UserPhenomenal place to stay - only quirk getting out of the way first it can be slightly tricky to find being in the mid Levels, so a taxi/shuttle would be better than walking. However, the room was spacious and very nice, clean with a great view from the 13th floor. The front desk was extra helpful by helping with my phone charger issue on top of being punctual, helpful etc. Great building as well, there is a Fusion maybe three minutes away walking so picking up random necessities is useful and a gas station with some random items as well so you will always be able to grab something quick. Great little restaurant next to the greeting area as well, Hainanese chicken is great and I used my free drink voucher as well. Fantastic place to stay, I will be back next time I am in HK

TTraderMoeI booked this hotel primarily for its proximity to the HK Internationalal airport and the rate. As I was traveling back from Shanghai on an evening flight and was flying out of HK the next morning and just needed a place to sleep for the night. I booked 2 rooms one for my wife and the other for my mother. The hotel has a shuttle service and stated the schedule was posted at the hotel. This didn’t help at all since I was at the airport so we took a taxi from the airport to the hotel. It was about a 7 minutes ride and cost me 30HKD (about $4 USD) plus 20HKD tips (not optional and tipping not required). When I checked in I was delighted to hear they upgraded our rooms to suites and both rooms were next to each other. They showed me on the floor plan where the room would be. This hotel is huge no kidding I walked about 5 minutes from the elevator to our rooms. The room was basically 2 adjoining rooms. One with a king sized bed joined by a studio room with a sofa bed. Basically my 2 booked rooms was 4 rooms. Each had a set of bathrooms. Since we checked in at 8pm there was not much to do nor things to see as it was dark outside. The pool was outdoors and was closed for the winter season. There was a gym but we were too exhausted after a day of travel to check it out. The lobby had a grab and go cafe where you can dine in or take food to your room. After we checked out we used the hotel shuttle service to the airport using the posted schedule at the front desk and posted on the right side of the hotel where you board the bus. The shuttle leaves hotel every 15 mins and is large enough to accommodate 30+ passengers. The shuttle also goes to the MTR where you can take the subway into HK. I only gave 3 stars for cleanliness and amenities as I found some hair on the sofa and some dirt on the floor and the pool was closed. Overall for the proximity to the airport and HK Exhibition Center and value I would not have stayed here. Disclaimer: This was my personal view based on accommodations and what needed during our 3 week trip to HK/China.

11383237****This was my husband and my first time visiting Hong Kong for two days. When I booked, Island Shangri-La was the only hotel that offered a refundable option, and I had heard great things about their service, so I decided to book it. After checking in, I truly experienced the prime location. Right across from the hotel entrance is Hong Kong Park, which, although not large, is beautifully scenic. The plants and trees are all labeled, there are fountains and streams, and even a delightful aviary with various birds to observe. It's perfect for families with children. Diagonally opposite the park entrance, not far away, is the Peak Tram entrance – surprise number two! Buying a 'red diamond' ticket allowed us direct entry, saving a lot of waiting time, and we got to enjoy the stunning Victoria Harbour view from the top. Below the hotel is Pacific Place mall, a high-end shopping destination, and a short walk in front takes you to the seaside park, which is incredibly convenient. Now, about the hotel service – it was excellent, absolutely fantastic! The front desk lady was warm, thoughtful, and highly professional. She helped us get a room with a beautiful view, which was a huge plus! All the staff members were humble and polite, and their Mandarin communication was excellent. The concierges at the entrance were courteous and welcoming. For breakfast, the hot noodle bowl was quite large, and the young man serving piled on plenty of toppings, cooked just right – it was delicious, surprise number three, and definitely deserves praise. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

AAngeloRiveraWe had a truly wonderful stay at Hopewell Hotel. The service was top notch from start to finish We really appreciated the simple but thoughtfu welcome cake and fruits, along with the personal handwritten letter from the quest relations team for our honeymoon. It meant a lot to us. The complimentary upgrade to a Premium King City Room was an amazing surprise. The room itself was fantastic. High quality verv comfortable. and exceptionallv clean. The hotel's location is extremelv convenient, with easy access to public transport including trams, trains and buses. I also loved the check in process. Leaving luggage on Level 18, checking in on Level 19, then having the staff deliver our bags to the room made evervthina feel seamless and stress free Ne had to check out earlv to run some last minute errands. and the team kindly allowed us to store our luggage. When we came back, the staff even helpec us weigh our bags. Jason and his team were incredibly helpful with our luggage and in arranging a taxi to the airport. Overall, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We had a fantastic stay and would happily recommend Hopewell Hotel to friends. We would absolutely love to stay here again.

22morrowsworldNice 4 star level hotel ideally situated near Happy Valley racecourse. Decent well appointed rooms with a view. Enough space for two, although would be tight depending on luggage, and certainly plenty for a single, Furnishings are of an OK standard, and there are an array of bedside lighting controls and sockets close at hand. Bathroom has wet/dry seperation, a good amount of bench space, the shower assembly functions very well and supplies strong hot water pressure.on demand Hotel has a small but useful gym, free shuttle bus to Hong Kong station and bistro. Breakfast was about 109 HKD (just so so). Overall, this is a good mid range priced choice and perfect if in town to attend a major HC race meet

__WeChat40343****Stayed one night at the Alva Hotel, and overall it was quite good, definitely recommend it. The room was very comfortable, and the bed was just right—neither too soft nor too hard. I have to praise the shower; the water pressure was excellent, making for a really refreshing wash, and the hot water came on quickly. Felt completely re-energized afterwards. The location is decent; it's about a seven or eight-minute walk to the subway station. Not super close, but acceptable, and a nice little stroll. The biggest plus was the concierge staff, who were genuinely enthusiastic. When I arrived, I realized I'd left my wallet on the bus. They helped me call the bus terminal and guided me through the next steps with such a great attitude. It felt very thoughtful and thorough. Summary: A comfortable and reassuring stay. The room size was quite generous, perfectly adequate for two people plus luggage. The service was attentive, and it offered great value for money.

SSukeleishengsimajiongOverall, I'm very satisfied. The service I encountered was excellent. The room size is quite spacious for Hong Kong standards, and the hotel's location is convenient, very close to the Jordan MTR station. They provide toothbrushes, and there are USB ports for charging. The deposit can be authorized with a credit card, and luggage storage is also very convenient. There's complimentary lemonade on the ground floor. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

LLilliancao## Review **Location:** The surrounding area is quite good, with plenty of options for dining and shopping. There are also many snack shops. I've stayed at this hotel many times, and the location is excellent; the beach is just across the pedestrian bridge! **Cleanliness:** The cleanliness is acceptable, but the room had a very strong odor. In previous stays, I hadn't noticed such a strong smell, but this time it was so unpleasant it made me feel nauseous! **Facilities:** The bathroom was incredibly noisy. If you didn't close the bathroom door, you wouldn't get any sleep that night. **Service:** The front desk service has clearly deteriorated; their attitude was very poor. One gentleman was truly unreasonable. Since it wasn't my first time staying at this hotel, I was given a very bad room – not only did it have a smell, but the location was also poor. I had to change rooms three times, and all of them were small. If I hadn't insisted, I wouldn't have been able to get a comfortable room!
