Hotel location is very good, new decoration, design is also beautiful. Clean and hygienic, smoke-free 🚬. The whole building is non-smoking. Don't be too good.
Cross the road, walk for a few minutes is the beautiful beach of 🤩, you can watch the sunrise on the public terrace on the ninth floor in the morning, although breakfast starts at 8:30 late, but there is also freshly ground American style, praise 👍. After dragging the family to watch the sunrise beach and playing in the water, we can wait for us to eat breakfast at ten o'clock before withdrawing the dishes. It is really not too intimate.
Less than two kilometers around, there is an old-fashioned Jiayuan restaurant, 50 seafood per capita, eating several meals in a row, is also super satisfied 😌
The younger brother and sister at the front desk are also super nice and help as much as possible.
National Day holiday in 2024, because the hotel has become more beautiful 😊. Thank you ☺️

The hotel has an excellent location, just steps away from local food spots and a large shopping mall, which made getting around and dining out very convenient.
The staff were friendly and attentive, though they didnt spewk English. Despite the language barrier, they were always willing to help and made a genuine effort to assist.
However, there were several issues that affected my stay. The breakfast was disappointing, with very limited options that catered mostly to local tastes — not ideal if you’re expecting a more international selection.
The elevator area often had a strong urine smell, likely due to the restroom located right near the entrance. In addition, the hallways and common areas were not veryy clean, with stained carpets and visible marks on the floor, which was surprising for an Ibis hotel. The carpet was noticeably old and in need of replacement.
While my room itself was fine, the overall cleanliness of the hotel outside the room was below the standard I’ve experienced at other Ibis locations.

Choosing Ruiyi for our 3-day, 2-night trip to Xiamen was absolutely the right decision.
1. **Location:** The hotel boasts an excellent location, being very close to Ba Shi Market and Zhongshan Road. It offers direct sea views of Gulangyu Island and is just a 10-minute walk to the subway station.
2. **Rooms:** Our 50 sqm room was spacious and thoughtfully designed with clearly defined areas. The facilities were new, comprehensive, and well-maintained – thankfully, none of the issues rumored online were present.
3. **Service:** The service was top-notch. Upon check-in, a lovely staff member guided us to our room and ensured everything was to our liking, making us feel completely at home. Late one night, returning to the hotel, I saw a manager diligently checking room cards in the elevator – this attention to detail truly made us feel secure. And upon departure, a kind staff member at the entrance helped load our luggage into the car, a thoughtful touch that was much appreciated.
While our overall travel experience in Xiamen wasn't extraordinary, the hotel truly exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend Ruiyi Grand Hotel to everyone I know.

Another great stay at the Sheraton. Comfy and clean room, professional service. Stayed here a whole bunch of times and never disappointed.
The swimming pool in this hotel is slightly smaller and a little more crowded than similar nearby, but the hot tub, steam room and sauna are all top quality.

There is a subway station next to the hotel, so it is convenient to go anywhere. There is a lake just a short walk away, so it is good for taking a walk. It is connected to a shopping center, so you can buy things.
When you enter the room, it feels like a typical 5-star hotel. However, there was dust on the water bottle in the bathroom. I don't know if it was because it had been a long time since a guest stayed in the room or because there is a lot of dust in Xiamen. The room seemed clean, but if you look behind the bed or behind the desk, you can see dust. Looking at the dust accumulated behind, I wonder if the carpet on the floor was cleaned properly.
The air conditioner control was a Johnson Control. The sensor that controls the temperature in the room did not work sensitively.
Since I only went to the hotel to sleep, I never had a chance to use other facilities at the hotel, so I don't have opinions about other places.

This hotel is located right next door to Xingleen Bay Hotel; I decided to try it out for a different experience.
The area by the sea is quite undeveloped, but if you walk about 500 meters in the other direction, you'll find dining options.
They offer a free shuttle service to Xiamen North Railway Station, which is a great convenience.
Breakfast: There was a decent variety of choices, and it was quite acceptable.
**Facilities:**
The gym is a bit small, but the outdoor swimming pool is lovely.
The hot spring is right next to the pool and isn't very large. It was my first time soaking in a hot spring that overlooks a road, which felt a bit unusual.
**Cleanliness:**
Clean.
**Ambiance/Environment:**
The lobby is undeniably grand, but it leans towards a somewhat gaudy, nouveau riche aesthetic. It almost feels like an attempt to mimic Macau's decor, but the overall scale and attention to detail don't quite meet the mark. However, the rooms themselves are quite elegant and tastefully decorated.
**Service:**
1. The staff have an excellent service attitude.
2. A minor point: access to the hot spring is limited to a single use.
3. Furthermore, much of the information displayed on public signs about hotel operations and timings is inconsistent with reality. My advice is always to call the front desk for the most accurate operating hours.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, with the essentials for a comfortable stay. Highlight was the Starbuck downstairs at the lobby, it’s what you needed for a morning coffee and a refreshing drink after dinner. There were a wide range of dinning options as well, both within the hotel and conveniently nearby.

We stayed at Room 8609 which is a business double room. Size of room is not expected. However washing basin is stained and need to be changed. Overall is good with lots of food for breakfast. Very near to Metro train station and within walking distance which is 200 metres away and using Exit 3. Very convenient as there are lots of eateries around
After researching online, I decided to stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel, and it definitely didn't disappoint. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was spacious, and the view was fantastic.
After a leisurely breakfast, it was only a 10-minute walk to the Dongdu Ferry Terminal. Plus, having a subway station right downstairs made all my subsequent travels incredibly convenient. Honestly, the hotel's Chinese restaurant was even better than many outside. I thought their Ginger Duck (Jiang Mu Ya) tasted more authentic than what I found elsewhere. The crispy squab and all the fried rice options were also incredibly tasty. To top it off, they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet for just 118 RMB per person, which is fantastic value, especially considering even a simple bowl of noodles in Xiamen can cost 30 RMB.
Moreover, the hotel bed was exceptionally comfortable. As someone who often struggles with sleep, my sleep quality literally doubled. In short, the Pan Pacific Hotel greatly enhanced my overall travel experience. It was absolutely fantastic! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

MMaichengThe staff at this guesthouse were all incredibly warm and welcoming, which made for a great experience. Both dinner and breakfast were homemade here and tasted delicious. It was lovely to take a refreshing 50-minute walk in the cool morning air.
Just a short walk over a small bridge, the adjacent village features several traditional Hakka fortified houses. The oldest of these structures date back 800 years, while the most recent began construction in 1964.
The surrounding fields are beautiful, filled with rice paddies, lotus flowers, and passion fruit. Breathing in the fresh morning air from the fields was truly invigorating.
One minor suggestion: we couldn't locate the switch for the bathroom exhaust fan during our entire stay, even after trying all the available switches. I'm sure there's one, but clearer labeling would be very helpful.
GGuest UserThe front desk staff were incredibly friendly; check-in and check-out were both handled efficiently and quickly. They patiently answered all our questions about local dining options, and their recommendations for restaurants were spot-on – the food was fantastic! The complimentary buffet breakfast offered a great variety of dishes, and the quality was excellent. It was incredibly satisfying to start each day with such a rich and delicious meal. The accommodation itself was very comfortable and offered excellent value for money. I would definitely choose Fengdalin Hotel again on my next visit to Putian, and I highly recommend it to anyone!

GGuest UserThis hotel is easily one of the best I have ever stayed at.
The service is very warm. When I arrived there late at night, the woman at the check-in desk walked me through the various attractions in the Wuyishan Scenic Area, and provided a helpful map. Similarly, when I left, the hotel staff helped me arrange my taxi to the train station.
The room was spacious, modern, and clean. They provide water bottles and Wuyishan tea. The shower was very comfortable, too. The room was a great place to relax after a long day of mountain climbing.
There are many good amenities too. They sell Wuyishan tea sets at the front desk for a reasonable price. They have a self-service laundry room. They also have a yummy hot breakfast buffet for $25, which I think is reasonable as well. The woman running the breakfast buffet was very warm too.
Finally, the location is good for exploring Wuyishan. There is a bus stop 3 minutes away where you can catch a free city bus to the South Entrance. The hotel is about a 25 minute walk from the Wuyi Palace, and there is a city bus you can catch to there too. The Sangu District, where the hotel is located, is clean and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed walking the main road at night.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel for a trip to Wuyishan.
GGuest UserThe guesthouse boasts an excellent location, just off the main street and right on a vibrant creative street. I absolutely loved the overall decor and style; the owner clearly has impeccable taste. The room was spotless. A minor suggestion for next time would be to provide disposable bathtub liners. The service was outstanding. They had thoughtfully turned on the AC before our arrival, and the afternoon tea, along with the drinks and snacks, were absolutely delicious. My child still raves about the black truffle fries! The owner even went the extra mile by sending two complimentary drinks for my child, which was incredibly kind. This is the first time I've genuinely felt that staying in a guesthouse offers a more unique and enjoyable experience than a traditional hotel. Highly recommend!
AAnonymous UserOK hotel, it’s a bit out of the way and you can hear the planes from the airport nearby. The rooms are quite dated and musky smelling - we had to change rooms as we requested a smoke free room but the first one had a strong smoke smell. We had a free morning but the pool was being renovated that day and the spa doesn’t open until 2pm. Also requested a Mountain View room but our view was looking straight at another building. Just didn’t live up to expectations or the other reviews.
MMEITINGStayed here from the 22nd to today, 4 consecutive nights, staying in the landmark Twin Towers, came to Xiamen for tourism and applied for a Taiwan Residence Permit. This is the room with the highest cost-effectiveness that I have ever stayed in, and it is much cheaper than other Twin Tower apartments. On the first day, I stayed in a room with full sea view on the 53rd floor. The photos were so beautiful. I wanted to stay for a few more days, but the boss said that all the sea view rooms were booked, so I had to switch to a city view room on the 24th floor. I didn't expect it to be more comfortable. For more than 200 RMB, I can have an independent kitchen, living room, washing machine, wardrobe, refrigerator, and the suite is 35 square meters. It's a huge bargain. If I didn't have to get the certificate and leave tomorrow, I would have stayed for another 2 nights. The first hotel I check in when I come to Xiamen next time must be this one ^ - ^

DDashanzhongdexiaokenaizhuThe hotel boasts a wonderful, new environment with a modern minimalist design. Its location is superb, ideally situated near Kaiyuan Temple and West Street, with an abundance of fantastic eateries nearby. Despite the lively surroundings, the hotel itself offers a tranquil retreat; once you step through its doors, you'll find absolute peace and quiet.
The hotel's attention to detail is impressive. For instance, on hot days, the lobby thoughtfully provides complimentary purified water and handcarts for guests to help themselves. We especially loved the hotel's custom-made incense, which had an incredibly soothing aroma.
They even provide guests with a fantastic 'eat & explore' guide, packed with useful tips and recommendations. We followed their suggestions for dining, and every single meal was delicious!
Our suite featured incredibly comfortable bedding. The bathroom design was a major highlight, offering a very generous space, making bath time incredibly relaxing, and even included a dedicated makeup area – we were thoroughly pleased.
The service was also incredibly responsive to all our requests, with quick responses and detailed transportation guidance.
And I must mention the hotel's unbeatable rooftop view, offering clear sight of Kaiyuan Temple's East and West Pagodas – a truly spectacular panorama. In the evenings, you can enjoy movies, cocktails, and moon-gazing on the rooftop, which makes for a truly comfortable and special experience!
