Check in no problem. They have a storage room for safe keeping suitcases, etc. The rooms are new, and clean, with multiple bunk beds (open-drape a sheet over it if you want more privacy). They have an open area and 2 adjoining roofed areas where a ton of guests with lots of couches, chairs, coffee and hot/cold water machine (pancake breakfast if paid), ping pong table, foos ball, basket ball net, planned games at night where 40+ people gather to have fun...painting night, singing night, ___ quiz night, etc. All good. Super good location just 1/2 block from the ocean and the Waikiki drag. The price is right around $50 a night

Very central and staff are very accommodating, the only hassle was that I had to wait until 2.30pm after arriving at 5.50am and I was very tired after travelling from Australia. Check in time was 3pm so I do appreciate the half hour earlier check in, next time I will add an extra day. The staff were also very polite from the front desk to housekeeping, a very nice place to stay at Ohia Waikiki Beach indeed.

We enjoyed our trip and the stay at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. Although we recommend purchasing gifts, water and food off-resort due to the super inflated prices, the staff was excellent and kind. Get a room in the Lagoon or Makai tower to oversee the dolphins. Ours was an ocean view and it was breathtaking. As far as hotel rooms go, it was pretty standard but clean and comfortable. It was a good landing place between adventures. Pricey but worth it for being a safe and family-friendly place. Do the buffet for breakfast but not every day as you’ll get sick of it 🤣 or your kids will just eat the cereal for $55/adult and $27/kid or something. 🤣

Cabana was pricey but worth a try if u wanna stay by the pool and beach all day. Access to the beach is easy peasy.

The place was OK though the location was fine. It cost $30 a night to park and that made me think should I pay for the resort fees at other hotels or forgo the $30 parking fee?

It's right in front of Waikiki Beach, so it's easily accessible.
The view is of course the best because it's a Premier Oceanfront View.
Early check-in is possible even though the Korean Air flight arrives in the morning.
It's nice that you can use the lobby beach towels as you like.
Since it's our honeymoon, we left a message to the hotel, but we didn't receive any flowers or chocolates, which was a shame.. The pool view is okay, but it's smaller than I thought.

One of the more economical hotels to stay at in Waikiki. Definitely would come back to stay here if I'm stuck in Honolulu again. Staff was always friendly and helpful

The old lady with white hair was very rude and asked me to pay $500 more. When I asked why, she just said it was because of the rules. We protested and tried again. And she never apologized.

There was no feeling of cleanliness compared to seeing it on HP. If you go expecting the HP interior, you may be disappointed.
The International Market Place is just a few seconds walk from the hotel, and the location is in the middle of Waikiki, so it's very easy to get around.
The staff at the hotel cannot speak Japanese, so you will need to speak English. However, I can't speak English at all, but if it's just check-in and check-out, I don't have any problems.
Anyway, I want to stay cheaply in the middle of Waikiki! Recommended for those who say!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located conveniently close to the airport. A bit tricky to find. We walked to the hotel from the airport. With our suitcases, a bit further than expected. Lots of noise from the traffic. Room was clean. Service was friendly. A bit disappointing when we picked up a rental car and retrieved our suitcases. Because we stayed at the parking lot 16 min. (1 minute longer than alotted we had to pay parking fees.
GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is ideal: there are many good restaurants; Ala Moana Shopping Center, one of the largest in world; beaches; and interesting places.
JJordan NicholasNestled along the serene shores of Waikoloa, the Hilton Waikoloa Village is a haven of luxury and tranquility. Our recent stay at this breathtaking resort was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the impeccable service, stunning accommodations, and picturesque surroundings.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The check-in process was smooth, and to our delight, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a Royal Suite in the palace tower. Stepping into our suite, we were greeted by spacious elegance and panoramic views of the beach and lagoon. Every detail, from the plush furnishings to the tasteful decor, exuded luxury and comfort.
The grounds of the Hilton Waikoloa Village are a true testament to paradise. Meticulously maintained gardens, winding pathways, and cascading waterfalls create an oasis of serenity amidst the lush landscape. We spent hours exploring the resort, discovering hidden gems around every corner. Whether lounging by the pool, strolling along the sandy shores, or indulging in a rejuvenating spa treatment, every moment was a blissful escape from reality.
One of the highlights of our stay was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the friendly greetings to the attentive care, every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Whether offering recommendations for dining or arranging memorable excursions, their genuine hospitality made our experience truly unforgettable.
As seasoned travelers who have explored destinations around the globe, we can confidently say that our time at the Hilton Waikoloa Village surpassed all expectations. It was more than just a vacation – it was a transformative experience that left us longing to return. If you're searching for paradise on earth, look no further than this remarkable resort.
혀혀니뚜니It was nice to be right next to Hilo Airport.
There is no elevator in the hotel, so it can be a bit difficult to move luggage. The scenery is nice, but the room condition is not very good.
GGuest UserVery pleased with our stay! Excellent location beachfront. Beautiful views of Diamond Head Crater. Super excellent location to be in the middle of all shops, beaches and restaurants . Short walks to explore & enjoy up and down the streets and beaches! All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Clean and well maintained. Great assistance with booking activities. My daughter took a surf lesson. Beachside conveniently had plenty of water activities to enjoy with an area to rent paddle boards , surf boards, floats, chairs & umbrellas. The restaurants inside the resort were excellent and convenient with outdoor seating and ocean views! ABC general store on lower level to shop for anything needed from drinks, snacks, beach towels, souvenirs, sunscreen etc…The resort also offers free activities that are on a schedule week by week, such as yoga, hula lessons, Lei & bracelet making, vow renewals & ukulele lessons! My 15yo daughter took a ukulele lesson, then shopped around and bought one to bring home!!! We have absolutely no complaints about our stay! Will absolutely be coming back in the future. Our flight home was a late evening flight & our check out time was 11:00am, so the bell hop service held our luggage for us so we could enjoy the rest of our last day on the beach. Then we decided to top off our last day to pamper ourselves with a spa treat, which is located on the top floor of the resort. I got a massage. My daughter got a facial. Afterwards we got to go to the outside roof top and enjoy the awesome view feeling refreshed & relaxed. I can go on and on about the positives of this vacation stay. There were no negative issues!
RRiniHousekeeping service was every other day but no one came to serve our room.
The bathroom door didn't have any and in fact didn't close properly.
We were told the pool will be under construction but glad that it was not under construction.
We were not told about breakfast time ends at 10:00 am but it ended at 8:30 am due to Easter brunch, that was not communicated.
Other than these issues, the location is very good, with pool and beach access, staff is good too.
NNoskovChecked in early and managed to get a better room than the one I was initially slated to stay in. View was amazing.
Been to the Grand Wailea a couple times before but this was the first visit where I went to check out the fitness center and found it to be a highlight of the stay. Lots of great equipment, open 24 hrs, and almost always empty (except for early in the morning when I saw a few other guests). Wish I could use the facility without being a guest.
If I had to pick a downside to it, then it would probably be renovations going on. Although the noise never bothered me during the stay, it was mostly an aesthetic annoyance with the signs and blocked off areas.
EEdwinThe hotel is located near the airport which is excellent for transient passengers. However, if you plan to stay for visit you may want to consider staying near the tourist spot. We need to take an UBER to another hotel as this hotel is not jn the route of the tour bus where taking going to Pearl Harbor.
The staff are friendly and accommodating especially Emil who’s one of the Filipino in the front desk. However, I cannot say the same to the other Filipino staff who’s name I will not say. He needs to polish on his hospitality skills and the way he speaks to the guest of the hotel. You also need to tell front desk everyday that you need them to make up your room as they will not do so since the Covid hits.
There’s a free internet available specific to our room but this becomes unavailable after a couple of days stay and we need to connect to the WiFi of other rooms.
There’s a Chinese restaurant nearby who serves excellent Chinese food.

GGuest UserFor the price point and the location you cannot beat it. In my opinion. I have not stayed at a smaller place. I just stick with a larger brand in which I know will have a certain level of quality. It's really not far from the beach. It's down a bit from the main shopping area but totally walkable. I think it's a great deal. I've stayed there twice now and I stayed in another place for nine days that's in the area and I would never go back to that one so the fact I keep going back is a very good sign that the value and the location Are great . My lifestyle as I go out and I have activities outside and I kinda use this as a base where I'd rest. I'm not dining there. I'm not really going to the shows. Maybe I'll use the pool. That said it's great it's comfortable it's clean.
