My partner and I recently stayed at the Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable hospitality that set the tone for the rest of our stay.
Accommodations
We stayed in one of the beachfront villas, and it was perfect for a romantic getaway. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking ocean views. The private plunge pool was a highlight—we spent hours lounging there, enjoying the sound of the waves. The room was spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.
Dining
The resort offers a variety of dining options, but our favorite was the Sasa Asian Dining Restaurant. The seafood was fresh, and the Vietnamese dishes were bursting with flavor. Breakfast at Breeza Beach Club was also a treat; the buffet spread had everything from fresh tropical fruits to made-to-order omelets. We loved enjoying our meals with the ocean breeze in the background.
Activities
The resort’s private beach was pristine, and we spent our days walking along the shore and soaking up the sun. The infinity pool was another favorite spot—perfect for a midday dip or just relaxing with a cocktail. The spa experience was incredible as well; we indulged in a couples massage, which left us feeling completely rejuvenated.
Service
The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. From arranging a romantic dinner on the beach to helping us book excursions, every detail was taken care of seamlessly. We felt genuinely pampered throughout our stay.
Atmosphere
The overall vibe of Meliá Ho Tram is serene and luxurious, making it ideal for couples looking to unwind and reconnect. The lush greenery, tranquil ambiance, and stunning views made every moment feel special.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for a romantic escape from da city, Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort is the
The hotel is a self-defined five-star hotel in Vietnam. The attitude of the service staff is good, but the after-sales service is 0 points; dinner is at your own expense, so it is okay; breakfast the next day is indoors and outdoors, but the table is full of flies, so I choose to dine indoors to avoid the interference of flies;
Unfortunately, our family of four suffered from severe diarrhea and continued to have diarrhea the next day after checking out. It is seriously suspected that the kitchen was contaminated when it was cooled down after the meals were completed, or the chefs were not clean.
After contacting the hotel's customer service, there was still no reply. It was a bit hard to accept the price and service.

I had a great stay at a hotel in the heart of Vung Tau. The location is perfect—just a short walk to Back Beach and close to many popular restaurants. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help with recommendations. The room was clean, well-equipped, and had a beautiful view. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. Housekeeping was prompt and attentive. The overall experience was excellent, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with great service in Vung Tau!

Excellent hotel located very near bien sau (back beach) which is usually where people go to swim in the sea. Unfortunately, at this trip, the beach was closed for a very long stretch due to improvement and construction works.
Very clean and very good buffet breakfast.

The hotel itself has a great feel and is very luxurious with great service.
Everything is good, except across the road is basically a 1km + building site, so the vibe of the area is very poor.

Been there for relaxing time. The staff was great. The hotel rules state 'gives you 2bottles everyday. Extra bottles is charged 50 000VND' ... Don't mind that...just go argue that to the counter, they gives us plenty more for free. The breakfast had lot of choice : western, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese food. The hotel is at 3minutes by walk from Back Beach (largest one). However, that beach has lot of rubbish and garbage from the sea... The pool was really awesome. Improvement: make the bar a bit more active😉 No one there... Had to go inside to get a cold beer
- room allocated was far
- room pillow with stained
- breakfast was good and substinable
- bbq dinner we can't choose as they say is a set. A lot of items I cannot eat as I'm allergic
- hotel only had 2 bicycle for guest to use and 1 was really really worn down and flat tyre
- went handicapped toilet at hotel lobby just to change because I had a big luggage and I need to take out my stuff. Immediately less than 10 seconds hotel staff knocked the door and warned me not to use the toilet. Come on please be flexible a bit as I didn't see any guest with special needs / wheelchair assistance

Unbelievably well presented hotel. The room with partial ocean view was roomy and bright.
The breakfast was great, with good variation. The smoothies in the restaurant were perfect but not so in the Cafe.
The location is great - not too far from many restaurants and massage and the beach.
A little pricey, but worth it.

My friends and l stayed in Vung tau for leisure. The reason why we pick up this hotel is the location, reasonable price and the deep understanding of what core value of a budget hotel in a tourism city should provide to the customers.
The location is great. It is closed to the beach and Jesus status in a walking distance. It is also closed to some wonderful restaurants.
The price is reasonable. It deserved the price in terms of room facilities and breakfast. A budget hotel has a swimming pool at the rooftop faces the beautiful sea and beach. Breakfast is great as well
A comfortable bed and strong hot water in the showering room are the most important things for me. Ibis is doing great job.
I would like to recommend this hotel to anyone who looks for balance among budget, safety, comfort and convenience

JJuanThe service attitude was not good, and there was no notice of the power outage early in the morning, which scared me to death.
GGuest UserFacilities: Complete! There are pots, pans, food and oil, you can buy food and cook by yourself
Sanitation: Clean and tidy
Environment: Very good
Service: Polite and enthusiastic
VVladimirExcellent apartments, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Kitchen, washing machine, comfortable bed, large balcony. Apartments are clean and cozy at home. We had a pleasant stay. At first we rented the apartment for 2 days, but then extended for another week.
The only disadvantage, but this does not apply to the apartments, but rather it is a disadvantage of the apartment complex - only few elevators and not quite convenient system of their operation. Sometimes we had to wait a long time for the elevator to go downstairs. Also, from the minuses, it is a lot of people in the building. The pool was constantly full of people. But I think it was due to the TET celebration.
Overall, we had a very good experience, would love to come back here again.
GGuest UserWe upgraded to a deluxe room for our final night in Vung Tao and the room was stunning. The floor to ceiling windows made the room feel extremely modern and airy.
BBen 能源Location is great, 5 mins from the beach, but not to many restaurants around the room is nice and chill but the elevator situation can be annoying…. But would recommend the host is super helpful and the balcony is chill
KKatzyOne of the bedrooms in a two-bedroom apartment with double beds is fairly small. The sound distance is poor at night since we could hear the TV's light sound, which is inconvenient, and the water drainage is also pretty slow. Even yet, at this cost, a 1-night stay for a group of 3–4 people is still reasonable and commendable as it's well equipped with culinary equipment, a fridge, washing machine and balcony for drying the clothes.
If you were driving yourself, it was advised to park for one night in the basement for VND 80k from 13 p.m. to 13 p.m. the following day.
The staff was very kind.
ММирThe hotel is very interesting, designer, straight from the mountain)) at the top there is a pool but not big, we had a room with a kitchen, very comfortable and spacious, but there is one caveat, the hotel is far from the center, if you are without a bike there is nothing to do here, even there is nothing nearby to eat. If you're on a bike, this is a great option in a quiet place.
GGuest UserThe hotel is beautiful and clean, it has super comfy beds and couches. There is a bath tub in the room that I stayed in, which is a big plus since most places only provide a shower. The views from my room were amazing. Unfortunately when I stayed there, the buffet was closed but that’s minimal. Didn’t get a chance to check out the pool and all of the other amenities but I can recommend staying at the Mermaid.
FfranzschmidtDecent location modern place. Difficult to call the property and hardly any language assistance and any explanation how to use the amenities. Extremely long wait times on the elevators too (busy period) so be warned. To use the pool will have to go to the A section, get an elevator from the 1st to the 16th floorN switch elevators again and these are constantly packed.
